Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to determine students 'motivation to learn physics through the application of learning models PDEODE and know the difference between the students' motivation to learn physics class that implements the learning model Predict, Discuss, Explain, Observe, Discuss, Explain (PDEODE) with a class that implements the conventional learning. This type of research is a Quasi-experimental, with the draft Non-equivalent control group design. The subjects in this study is a class XI IPA 3 with the application of learning models PDEODE and class XI IPA 5 with the application of conventional learning. The data in this study a questionnaire score students' motivation to learn physics after learning model application PDEODE were analyzed descriptively. Further differences between the students' motivation to learn physics class that implements the learning model PDEODE with a class that implements the conventional study were analyzed using N-Gain. Based on the analysis of data obtained by the N-gain average of students in classes that implement learning models PDEODE middle category with an average N-Gain 0.34, while in the class that implements the conventional learning motivation to learn the average student is at the low category with an average N-Gain 0.12. It can be concluded that the application of learning models PDEODE can increase the motivation to learn physics class XI IPA at SMAN 1 Rengat. Key Words: PDEODE learning, motivation learn.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research was to develop are equipment of dynamics fluid experiment as physics teaching and learning media, resulting in a viable and valid device used as a media of instruction. The subject of this research was an experiment equipment consist of experiment tool and guided book. Data was collected by using assessment sheets of validation that has been given to validators, in which 3 validators were lecturers as expert and 2 validators were physics teachers. The data was analyzed descriptively to find index of validity of experiment equipment. We found that experiment equipment validation was 3,46 with the very high category and experiment guided book with validation was 3,6 with the very high category. Based on the data analysis we have been concluded that an experiment equipment of dynamics fuid as the media in learning physics at SMA can be said valid with the very high category and feasible to be done trial at school.Keyword: Validation, Experiment equitment, Dynamics Fluid.

Abstract

Abstrak: This study aims to determine the validity of the development of physics-oriented learning device inquiry approach on thermodynamic materials class XI SMA based on curriculum 2013. Development of tools such as RPP, LKPD and test results learning. The research used in the form of observation method using validation instrument validated by validator, namely 2 lecturers physics FKIP UR and 2 people high school physics teacher. Stages of development of this device starts from the preliminary study, device planning, device development, validation-1, device enhancement, validation-2, and obtained the average number of active results. Data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. Based on the results of the study, the development of learning tools is valid with the average validity of RPP is 3,25 categories are very high, LKPD is 3,19 categories are high and test result of learning 3,25 with very high category, So that the device is feasible to be used as learning device in school.Key Words: inquiry, development of oriented learning, thermodynamic, curriculum 2013.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is aimed to find out the difference of cognitive ability of students class XI IPA at SMA Negeri 1 Rengat in learning physics between the class that is applying PDEODE learning and the class with conventional learning. Intact Group Comparison is used as the design of this research. The samples in this research are 76 students of class XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Rengat and divided into experimental class and control class. The instrument in this research is a cognitive ability test consisting of 20 questions in categories C1 to C4. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential analysis. The result of this research shows that score of cognitive ability in implementation of PDEODE learning group is 78,55 in good category and in conventional learning group score of cognitive ability is 73,82 in good category. Based on the analysis of the data, it shows that the cognitive ability of the students in the experimental class is higher than the control class. The inferential analysis shows that there was a significant difference with t (74) = 2,495, p < 0,05 in 95% confidence interval of the difference. It can be concluded that learning PDEODE is better than conventional learning.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to train generic science skills with contextual learning in science teaching physics class VIII MTs N Andalan Pekanbaru. This research was conducted in MTs N Andalan Pekanbaru in March to June 2016 for 4 months with the subject of VIII.2 class consisting of 35 students to 15 male students and 20 female students. Type of research is Pre Experimental Design with One Shot Case Study. Instruments of data collection in this study is a generic skill achievement test consisting of 10 indicators of generic skills in science are 20 questions given after the application of contextual learning. Data were analyzed descriptively. Descriptive analysis of generic skills of students after learning with contextual approach application got a good result. In the symbolic language generic skills earned an average of 89.6, on mathematical modeling skills earned an average of 79.0 and the generic skills of logical consistency earned an average of 66.2. So the contextual learning can be applied to train generic skills of students in the class VIII.2 MTs N Andalan Pekanbaru.Key Words: Generic Skills, Contextual Learning

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to described and know the effectiveness of the improvement Physics process skills in the class VIII Junior High School 5 Pekanbaru. approach study outdoor inquiry in light materials. The research was conducted from February 2016 until mei 2016 by population all of students in class VIII junior high school 5 Pekanbaru.The plan in this research is design Intact Group comparasion, with the class VIII8 as an experimental class and class VIII7 as the control class. The research instrument used is Physics process skills achievement test array of aspect: formulate, plan, hypothetical, conclude and communicate. The results of the research indicated of all aspect 86.8% in very well categories and very efectively in the class VIII8 and other hand 80.97% in good category and effectively. As conclution approach study outdoor inquiry can improve the Physics process skills of student junior High School 5 Pekanbaru.Keywords: Outdoor Iinquiry, Process Skills, Light.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to describe the interest and increased interest in studying science Physics with the application of the concept model of learning achievement in the matter of heat and heat transfer. The research design used in this study is "Nonequivalent conrol group design" with this type of research quasi experiment. The subjects were students of class VII SMP IT Madani School, which shall be composed of two classes randomly selected as experimental class with 19 students and the number of class control of 19 students. Apply experimental class learning model Achieving control class concept while applying conventional learning models. Data were collected through questionnaires engineering instruments in the form of a questionnaire research interests of students. Data analysis with descriptive analysis techniques to see an increase (gain) interests of students. The results showed an average gain of 0.41 experimental class students' interest (medium category) and the control class 0.36 (medium category). From the comparison of the average gain is about physics student interest in learning IPA science in both classes, indicates that the application of the concept model of learning achievement Physics increase student interest in learning IPA science than the application of conventional learning models. Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of this study was to describe the physics students achievement and describe the activities of students by gender with the implementation of collaborative learning model in MA Al Ihsan Boarding School Kampar. This research was conducted in class X MA Al Ihsan Boarding School Kampar from December 2014 through March 2015 by the research subjects consisted of 17 students in class of Ibnu Sina (boys) and 19 students in class of Al Khawarizmi (girls). The design of this study is the One Shot Case Study applied to two different classes. The research instrument is the form of sheet posttest and observation sheet to observe the activity of student activity during learning activities. Scores of achievement and student activity observation results were analyzed using descriptive analysis. Descriptive analyzes were conducted to determine the absorption, the effectiveness of teaching and learning activity levels between class boys and girls. The average score of student achievement girls was 50.11% (category quite good) and boys is 53.41% (category quite good). While the average score of student activity during the students learning is at high category with a score of 91.10 % for girls and 91.87 % for boys. Student achievement and learning activities of students in physics in boys is better than the achievement and learning activities of girls. So, it can conclude that by applying the collaborative learning model in boys is more effective than girls in the class X MA Al Ihsan Boarding School Kampar.Key Word : Achievement, Collaborative Learning, Gender, Student Activity.

Abstract

Abstract : This study for to determine the increase in cognitive science learning outcomes through the application of the model physics student achievement in class VII SMP concept IT Madani School. This study was carried out in class VII SMP IT Madani School Pekanbaru in April to June 2015 by using a static design with two groups that applied to two homogeneous classes. Subjects consisted of 21 students in each class. The result showed that the score of the class that implements the model pembelajarn attainment of a higher concept than the final score classes that implement conventional learning models. At 5 measured variables that the average absorption capacity, the effectiveness of learning, mastery learning classical, individual completeness and thoroughness of the subject matter found that classes with the application of the concept model of learning achievement of the final score increase when compared to the conventional classroom learning model. Standard deviation is the implementation class model of learning achievement value concept is smaller than the conventional classroom learning model. Of variables measured, concluded that the achievement of the concept of learning model can improve learning outcomes of cognitive science of physics students. Key word : Concept Attainment Mode, Increase in Cognitive Study

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to determine the increase  student’s attitude toward science in learning physics at class X SMA IT Al-Ittihad Pekanbaru through the implementation of Metacognitive Strategies in lesson temperature and heat. The subjects were students of class X Putri totalling 18 students. The metodh used in this study is pre-experimental with one group pretest-posttest desigs. The instrument of data collection in this study is the attitudes towards science questionnaire consists of 24 statement that include 4 attitude toward science indicator which is attraction toward science, science learning activities, importance of science, views toward science’s environmental. Data analysis in this study is a descriptive analysis to determine the increase  student’s attitude toward science in learning physics. The research showed the gain student’s attitude toward science at class X SMA IT Al-Ittihad Pekanbaru through the implementation of Metacognitive Strategies in lesson temperature and heat are in middle category (0,42), increase of the student’s attitude toward science in each of indicators in middle category, except importance of science in low category.
