Abstract

Technological advances nowadays, making human beings able to do things easier and shorter. In this study, perfectly damped Brownian motion with a harmonic potential is considered, where previously it was moving randomly, requiring a long time to return to an equilibrium state. This research aims to determine the additional potential of each initial potential in the form of harmonic potentials with various powers. The method used is the Fast Forward method developed by Nakamura and Masuda. The equation used in this research is the Fokker-Planck equation. It was concluded that this research obtained additional potential for perfectly damped Brownian motion so that the time needed to reach the equilibrium state would be shorter.

Abstract

The goal of this exploration is to fabricate an estimating instrument for perceiving Methane, Smelling salts, and Carbon Dioxide gas concentrations in cow feces within a confined space. The feasibility of gas concentration detection devices using MQ-2 sensors, MQ-4 sensors, and Arduino Uno-based MQ-135 sensors will also be tested. This research relates to physics, particularly instrument physics. The research will employ hardware design, software design, and testing methodologies. The gas used for testing was produced from 500 grams of cow feces through three treatments: no treatment, addition of 50 grams of activated charcoal, and addition of 50 milliliters of EM4. The tool validation test was conducted by three experts, and the typical worth acquired was 95.8%, classified as entirely achievable. The experiment yielded the highest concentrations of CH4, NH3, and CO2 gases at 11:30 AM (plus EM4), 03:00 AM (plus EM4), and 24:00 AM (without treatment), respectively, with readings of 9.49 ppm, 26.89 ppm, and 4.57 ppm.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the development of digital comics learning media on the material of straight motion kinematics by students at 3 SMAN Bengkulu City. This research is R&D research using the ADDIE model. The instrument used in this study was an expert validation sheet consisting of 5 aspects, namely content, presentation, language, media, and learning motivation. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it is known that the quality of the development of digital comics learning media on straight motion kinematics material is categorized as very suitable for use, with all aspects found to be 87.08% and the results of students' perceptions of the development of digital comics learning media are obtained based on all aspects of 86.99% with very good category in 3 SMAN Bengkulu City. So, it can be said that developing digital comic learning media on straight-motion kinematics material to direct students' learning motivation is very feasible and very good to develop.
