Abstract

Where is in their growth they have common character among other like restlessness, opposition, imagination, group activity, and desire in trying everything, as a result teenager are not rarely trapped in promiscuity, free sex, drugs, etc. Giving health counseling intervention intended to obtain the description of Cadet Safety and enggenering academy Makassar third year student’s knowledge toward HIV/AIDS basic concept. This research aimed at finding out health counseling influence toward HIV/AIDS knowledge of Cadet Safety and enggenering academy Makassar third year students. This research represented quantitative with Pre-Experimental design, one group pre-test and post-test design. The population was Safety and enggenering academy Makassar third year students. The samples consisted of 165 respondents. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. Before intervention, Pre-test toward Cadet Safety and enggenering academy Makassar third year students done, the sampling technique next followed with giving counseling intervention about HIV/AIDS basic concept then evaluated by post-test. The data were collected through questionnaires with 22 questions based on Guttmann Scale scoring assessment. The data were analyzed through Repaired T-Test with significant level a = 5% (0, 05). The result of the data analysis with Repaired T-Test proved that there was health counseling influence toward HIV/AIDS knowledge of Cadet Safety and enggenering academy Makassar third year students, with the value of P=0,00 (a< 0,05).

Abstract

PT. Pindo Deli is a national company that produces paper, which is located in Kutamekar Village BTB6/9, Karawang Regency, West Java. It produces various types of paper with a market share of 60% for exports and 40% for domestic. The condition of the Covid-19 pandemic also has an impact on the marketing and sales of paper, namely a decrease in the number of requests from the export and domestic markets. This condition certainly has affected the marketing department because it is still determined to be able to sell paper to the market. Job as marketing tend to have a high risk of mental workload, because they are required to always involve the brain's performance in completing their work. The purpose of this study is to measure the level of mental workload in the marketing department at the manager level, namely the regional managers and product managers in meeting their job demands, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used to measure the mental workload of managers is NASA TLX method. From the research results, it is found that 42% of manager had a high level of mental workload and the remaining 58% were in the very high category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini akan membuat mesin pencacah single blade kapasitas 100 kg/jam dengan metode Pahl & Beitzh, dimana mesin ini akan digunakan untuk mencacah rumput sebagai bahan pupuk kompos. pupuk kompos adalah pupk organik yang baik untuk tanaman yang proses pembuatannya dengan proses fermentasi. Proses pembuatan pupuk kompos dengan bahan-bahan organik seperti rumput cacabean, eceng gondok dan bonggol pisang proses ini memerlukan teknologi untuk mencacah yang efisien. Metode yang digunakan dalam perancangan dan pembuatan adalah metode Palhl & Beitzh dan metode dalam pengujian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen. Hasil perancangan dan pembuatan menghasilkan ukuran panjang 60 cm, lebar 50 cm, dan tinggi 80 cm, untuk pengujian menunjukan bahwa pencacahan material jenis cacabean mesin mampu mencacah sebanyak 101 Kg/Jam, untuk material jenis bonggol pisang mesin mampu mencacah sebanyak 103 Kg/Jam dan pada material jenis eceng gondong mesin mampu mencacah sebanyak 99 Kg/Jam. Putaran mesin mampu memutar pisau sebesar 1500 rpm.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan dan perkembangan UMKM merupakan suatu indikator keberhasilan pembangunan suatu negara, khususnya untuk negara-negara yang yang memiliki income perkapita rendah. UMKM sendiri memiliki peran dan jumlah yang cukup besar dalam menciptakan lapangan pekerjaan, dan mampu menyerap sejumlah tenaga kerja, sehingga berkontribusi pada peningkatan produk domestrik bruto (PDB). Sehingga kita, akademisi memiliki kewajiban untuk membantu peningkatan perekonomian UMKM, terutama saat ini dimasa pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi UMKM keripik pisang berdasarkan lingkungan internal yang meliputi kekuatan (streangth), dan kelemahan (weaknesses), serta lingkungan eksternal yang meliputi peluang (opportunities), dan ancaman (threats). Hasil dari Internal Factors Analysis Summary (IFAS) dan External Factors Analysis Summary (EFAS) menyatakan bahwa selisih nilai kekuatan dan kelemahan hasilnya (+) 0,50, dan selisih nilai peluang dan ancaman juga hasilnya positif (+) 0,80. Hasil analisis SWOT penelitian ini menghasilkan empat kombinasi strategi UMKM, yaitu: 5 strategi Streangth Opportunities (SO), 5 strategi Streangth Threats (ST), 4 strategi Weaknesses Opportunities (WO), dan 6 strategi Weaknesses Threats (WT). UMKM keripik pisang Pak Ari Ginajar punya potensi untuk tumbuh dan berkembang. Kata Kunci: UMKM, Analisis SWOT, Tumbuh dan Berkembang. The growth and development of MSMEs is an indicator of the success of a country's development, especially for countries with low per capita income. MSMEs themselves have a fairly large role and number in creating jobs, and are able to absorb a number of workers, thereby contributing to an increase in gross domestic product (GDP). So that we, academics have an obligation to help improve the economy of MSMEs, especially at this time during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with the aim of knowing the condition of banana chips SMEs based on the internal environment which includes strengths and weaknesses, as well as the external environment which includes opportunities and threats. The results of the Internal Factors Analysis Summary (IFAS) and External Factors Analysis Summary (EFAS) state that the difference in the value of strengths and weaknesses is (+) 0.50, and the difference in the value of opportunities and threats is also positive (+) 0.80. The results of the SWOT analysis of this study resulted in four combinations of MSME strategies, namely: 5 Streangth Opportunities (SO) strategies, 5 Streangth Threats (ST) strategies, 4 Weaknesses Opportunities (WO) strategies, and 6 Weaknesses Threats (WT) strategies. Mr. Ari Ginajar's banana chips SMEs have the potential to grow and develop. Keywords: MSMEs, SWOT Analysis, Growth and Development.

Abstract

Penduduk Indonesia belum sepenuhnya mendapat layanan penerangan listrik, terutama yang berada di daerah terpencil dan berada di lereng-lereng bukit, sementara di lokasi tersebut terdapat potensi energi yang cukup untuk mengerakkan turbin air sebagai penggerak generator listrik. Turbin pelton adalah salah satu jenis turbin impuls yang performancenya dipengaruhi oleh debit air, nosel, dan jumlah sudu, atas dasar tersebut penulis menyajikan artikel yang menerapkan metode quality function deployment (QFD) dan pengujian eksperimental terhadap prototipe turbin pelton di laboratorium Universitas Buana Perjuangan Karawang. Langkah-langkah dalam penelitian ini meliputi studi literatur dan lapangan, perancangan, pembuatan alat uji, pengujian, analisis data, dan kesimpulan. Variasi pengujian berdasarkan pada diameter, posisi dan jumlah nosel terhadap sudu turbin yang berjumlah 12 buah dan berdiameter150 mm, sedangkan untuk pembangkit listriknya menggunakan generator mini berdaya 350 watt. Hasil pengujian yang diperoleh adalah daya input (Pin) terbesar dengan nilai 73,6 watt terdapat pada dn 9 mm dengan posisi nozel atas dan bawah dan jumlah nozel 2 buah. Daya turbin (Pt) ) terbesar dengan nilai 70,1 watt terdapat pada dn= 6 mm, posisi nosel di atas dan jumlah nozel 1 buah, efisiensi turbin (ηt) terbesar dengan nilai 95,4 % terjadi pada dn = 9 mm dengan jumlah nosel 1 buah dengan posisi nosel di atas, daya generator (Pgen) terbesar 11,7 watt terjadi pada dn = 9 mm dengan jumlah nosel 1 buah dengan posisi nosel di atas, effisiensi generator (ηgen) terbesar dengan nilai 17,9 % terjadi pada dn = 9 mm dengan jumlah nosel 1 buah dengan posisi nosel di atas dan efisiensi sistem terbesar (ηsis) 17,1% terjadi pada dn = 9 mm dengan jumlah nosel 1 buah d posisi nosel di atas. Abstract

Learning ability is independent learning, regulating, motivating, with own behavior to set targets for learning (self regulated learning / SRL) and learning outcomes from Makassar Poltekbang cadets. This study aims to determine the effect of self-regulated learning on Makassar Aviation Polytechnic cadets in Pancasila learning. Research on the reasoning ability of cadets is an ability possessed by cadets. One of them is the ability to learn independence in learning, study time, and material search, with data collection techniques in the form of survey research. The results of this study indicate a positive influence on learning motivation. After performing a simple linear regression test with SPSS software, it is known that the tcount value of 16,041 > ttable of 1,678 has an effect on the X variable on the Y variable. It can be concluded that there is an influence (SRL) on the learning outcomes of the Makassar Aviation Polytechnic cadets.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode demonstrasi untuk meningkatankeaktifan dan prestasi belajar siswa. Merupakan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Siswa (PTK). Fokuspenelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV yang berjumlah 7 siswa. Instrumen penelitian menggunakanlembar observasi Pedoman wawancara dan soal tes. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknis analisis datadeskriptif kulitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan keaktifan dan prestasibelajar siswa mengalami peningkatan setelah proses pembelajaran menggunakan metodedemonstrasi. Prestasi belajar siswa dari kondisi awal nilai rata-rata sebesar 69,14 menjadi 74 padapembelajaran siklus I sehingga prestasi belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan sebesar 4,86%.Selanjutnya pada pembelajaran siklus II prestasi belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan dari 42,86%menjadi 100%. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metodedemonstrasi dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa kelas IV di SD N Hargorojo KecamatanKabupaten Purworejo.

Abstract

Abstract Problems related to road damage are currently growing. Damages that occur are often caused by waterlogging. One of the efforts that can be done is by applying the use of porous concrete. Porous concrete can reduce water runoff and increase infiltration in the soil because it has a high porosity. As a substitute material, steel slag can be an alternative in replacing coarse aggregate. Steel slag is an abundant waste from steel production industrial companies. Currently, steel slag is widely used in high-strength concrete mixes. This study of porous concrete generally refers to ACI 522R 10. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of steel slag substitution on the tensile strength and permeability of porous concrete. This experimental study used two variations of the w/c (0.25 and 0.30) with two variations of crushed stone aggregate and steel slag with a diameter of 10 mm-20 mm. The tensile strength and permeability specimen of porous concrete is in the form of a concrete cylinder (15 cm diameter, 30 cm height) with 3 samples of each variation. The tests were carried out at the age of 28 days. Based on the experimental results on porous concrete with steel slag or crushed stone, the value of the tensile strength of concrete with w/c 0.30 is higher than w/c 0.25. Meanwhile, the permeability value of porous concrete in both the mixed variant of steel slag and crushed stone with w/c 0.25 is higher than w/c 0.30. So that the relationship of the tensile strength of concrete is inversely proportional to the value of the permeability of the concrete in the conditions of the two w/c (0.25 and 0.30).
