Abstract

Pengukuran jumlah mesin ideal sangat diperlukan untuk melihat kapasitas produksi mencukupi ataukan tidak yang pada akhirnya akan menentukan kelancaran pengiriman barang jadi kepada customer. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menghitung kecukupan jumlah mesin di tiap lini yang ada dengan mempertimbangkan waktu siklus, proporsi cacat, jumlah permintaan dan efisiensi mesin yang ditetapkan oleh perusahaan. Dengan penambahan ini, diharapkan tidak akan ada kerja lembur untuk mengejar target produksi. Hasil pengecekan terhadap jumlah mesin menunjukkan bahwa agar tercapainya keseimbangan lintasan produksi sehingga nantinya dapat meningkatkan kapasitas produksi, terdapat beberapa mesin tertentu yang memerlukan penambahan unit yaitu total sebanyak 15 unit untuk 14 Operation (masing-masing Operation membutuhkan 1 unit tambahan tetapi ada 1 Operation yang membutuhkan 2 tambahan unit mesin). Disamping itu ada juga mesin tertentu yang perlu dilakukan pengurangan unit untuk tujuan efisiensi yaitu sebanyak 3 unit mesin dari 2 Operation. Hal ini dikarenakan kapasitasnya sudah memenuhi permintaan tanpa mesin-mesin tersebut, dan sebagian besar jumlah mesin dinilai sudah ideal antara kebutuhan secara teoritis dengan keadaan saat ini. Abstract

PT. Pindo Deli is a national company that produces paper, which is located in Kutamekar Village BTB6/9, Karawang Regency, West Java. It produces various types of paper with a market share of 60% for exports and 40% for domestic. The condition of the Covid-19 pandemic also has an impact on the marketing and sales of paper, namely a decrease in the number of requests from the export and domestic markets. This condition certainly has affected the marketing department because it is still determined to be able to sell paper to the market. Job as marketing tend to have a high risk of mental workload, because they are required to always involve the brain's performance in completing their work. The purpose of this study is to measure the level of mental workload in the marketing department at the manager level, namely the regional managers and product managers in meeting their job demands, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used to measure the mental workload of managers is NASA TLX method. From the research results, it is found that 42% of manager had a high level of mental workload and the remaining 58% were in the very high category.

Abstract

Pengukuran produktivitas penting dilakukan agar perusahaan dapat mengevaluasi kinerjanya. Salah satu metode pengukuran produktivitas adalah Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Pengukuran OEE menggunakan 3 rasio yaitu avaibility, performance, quality. Hasil dari perhitungan OEE tahun produksi 2018 sebesar 42,56 %, dilihat dari besarnya OEE tersebut dikategorikan ke dalam kategori 2 (40% - 59%) atau kategori rendah sehingga perlu dilakukan perbaikan sistem karena berpeluang akan menimbulkan kerugian dan daya saing rendah. Penyumbang terbesar rendahnya nilai OEE adalah pada aspek quality, dengan jenis losses yaitu defect losses dengan rasio 44,60%. Usulan perbaikan yang dilakukan adalah dengan menerapkan pendekatan kaizen 5S. Setelah dilakukan perbaikan selama 5 bulan didapatkan hasil perhitungan OEE sebesar 44,10 %. Jika dibandingkan dengan data tahun 2018 dengan nilai OEE 42,56%, maka mengalami kenaikan sebesar 1,54%. Dengan demikian, diharapkan perusahaan dapat terus meningkatkan performa produktivitasnya di masa-masa mendatang. Productivity measurement is important so that companies can calculate their performance. One method of measuring productivity is the Overall Effectiveness of Equipment (OEE). The measurement of OEE uses 3 ratios, namely availability, performance, quality. The results of the OEE calculation for the 2018 production year were 42.56%, the contribution of OEE was categorized into category 2 (40% - 59%) ) or low category so it is necessary to improve the system because it is likely to cause losses and low competitiveness. The biggest contributor to the value of OEE is in the quality aspect, with the type of loss, namely defect losses with a ratio of 44.60%. After 5 months of improvement, the OEE calculation result was 44.10%, compared to the 2018 data with an OEE value of 42.56%, an increase of 1.54%, so the company is expected to continue to improve its productivity performance. in the future.

Abstract

Salah satu produk yang dekat dengan masyarakat dan selalu diminati untuk dikonsumsi adalah daging ayam. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan penelitian yang mengkaji mengenai kehalalan daging ayam curah dalam serangkain proses suplly chain-nya dari hulu ke hilir. Penelitian ini mengambil objek yaitu daging ayam yang dijual di Pasar Baru Karawang. Adapun kesimpulan yang dapat ditarik dari penelitian ini adalah ketiga pemasok daging ayam ke pasar baru karawang secara umum berdasarkan observasi secara langsung di lapangan sudah memenuhi syarat syar’i mengenai kehalalan daging ayam dan sampai kepada konsumen akhir tidak terkontaminasi dengan barang haram/najis. Akan tetapi tetap masih diperlukan penyempurnaan sebagai yaitu perlu dipastikan kembali kehalalan bahan dari makanan, minuman, vaksin, dan vitamin yang digunakan, perlu adanya pemastian menghadap kiblat, perlu adanya pemastian bahwa ayam yang disembelih sudah betul-betul mati sebelum proses selanjutnya atau minimal menunggu 3 menit. Risiko yang dapat terjadi dikelompokkan menjadi resiko rendah, resiko sedang dan resiko tinggi. Risiko rendah yaitu daging ayam tercampur dengan bahan najis/haram dan timbangan tidak sesuai. Resiko sedang yaitu penyembelihan tidak menghadap kiblat. Sedangkan resiko tinggi yaitu ayam belum benar-benar mati karena berhubungan langsung dengan kehalalan daging ayam. Hal ini pula yang jarang disadari oleh para pemasok daging ayam mereka kebanyakan tidak memastikan benar-benar mati atau tidak menunggu setidaknya 3 menit. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan edukasi, standarisasi, serta kalibrasi timbangan. Kata kunci : supply chain, kehalalan, haram, Pasar Baru Karawang One of the products that are close to the community and always in demand for consumption is chicken. Therefore, it is necessary to study the halal chicken meat in the supply chain process from upstream to downstream. This research took the object, namely chicken meat sold in Pasar Baru Karawang. The conclusions that can be drawn from this study are that the three suppliers of chicken meat to the Karawang new market in general, based on direct observations in the field, have met the syar'i requirements regarding the halalness of chicken meat and until the end consumers are not contaminated with haram / najis goods. However, improvements are still needed as it is necessary to re-confirm the halalness of the ingredients of the food, drinks, vaccines, and vitamins used, it is necessary to ensure facing the Qibla, it is necessary to ensure that the slaughtered chickens have really died before the next process or at least wait 3 minute. The risks that can occur are grouped into low risk, medium risk and high risk. Low risk, namely the chicken meat is mixed with unclean / haram ingredients and the scale is not suitable. The risk is moderate, namely the slaughter does not face the Qibla. Meanwhile, the high risk is that the chicken has not really died because it is directly related to the halal meat of the chicken. It is also something that is rarely realized by most of their chicken meat suppliers who do not ensure that they are really dead or do not wait at least 3 minutes. Abstract

ABSTRAK Pengukuran efisiensi dan produktivitas penting dilakukan agar perusahaan dapat mengetahui pada tingkat mana efisiensi dan produktivitas proses bisnisnya sedang berjalan. Dengan mengetahui hal tersebut, perusahaan dapat melakukan perbaikan jika hasil efisiensi dan produktivitas yang didapatkan tidak sesuai dengan harapan. PT. XYZ mengoperasikan empat mesin Heat Treatment untuk proses pengerasan barang/parts agar sesuai dengan tingkat kekerasan yang sudah ditentukan pada standar. Mesinmesin tersebut diberi nama mesin HT1, mesin HT2, mesin HT3 dan mesin HT4. Analisa dilakukan terhadap inputan pada mesin heat treatment yaitu jam operasi, konsumsi energi/gas, jumlah produk, konsumsi larutan pendingin sedangkan outputnya yaitu berupa produk OK selama 3 tahun yaitu dari 2014 s.d 2016. Kejadian kurang efisien sepanjang tiga tahun tersebut didominasi oleh mesin HT2 sebanyak 9 kali yaitu pada tahun 2014 3 kali (bulan 4, 8 dan 10 dengan nilai efisiensi 0,899; 0,897; 0,913), pada tahun 2015 2 kali (bulan 4 dan 10 dengan nilai efisiensi 0,934 dan 0,869), dan pada tahun 2016 4 kali (bulan 3, 4, 6, dan 10 dengan nilai efisiensi 0,945; 0,988; 0,919; dan 0,871. Dengan demikian urutan mesin dengan nilai efisiensi dari yang terburuk adalah mesin HT2, HT1, HT4, dan HT3. Efisiensi untuk keempat mesin heat treatment secara umum tidak mengalami perubahan/tetap (indeks perubahan efisiensi = 1). Sedangkan untuk perubahan teknologi ke empat mesin mengalami laju perubahan teknologi yang positif (indeks perubahan > 1). Hal ini menyebabkan kondisi TFP ketiga mesin secara umum selama 3 tahun yaitu dari tahun 2014 s.d 2016 juga mengalami laju produktivitas yang positif (indeks perubahan > 1). Karena indeks perubahan efisiensi selalu tetap (indeks perubahan efisiensi = 1), maka indeks perubahan TFP sama dengan indeks perubahan teknologinya. Abstract

The number of frequencies of damage to aluminum machines at PT. XYZ in one year by 39 times. This frequency is large enough that it is necessary to carry out effective maintenance activities to reduce the amount of damage. Reliability Centered Maintenance is one of the methods used to determine how to maintain machine components that fail according to the criticality level of a component. The results of the analysis of the Reliability Centered Maintenance method at the FMEA stage found 1 component that has a high critical level with the highest RPN value of 144, namely the loader component. The selection of actions to be carried out by conditional directed or scheduled on-condition tasks is because these components will function properly if component replacement or repair is carried out. The minimum maintenance cost for loader components obtained from the calculation is Rp. 11,961,496,-

Abstract

The problem with the company is the increase in non-conformance findings in the internal ISO audit report which is very significant, namely as many as 20 findings related to clause 7.2 of controlling information documents within a period of 6 months. Therefore, the main problem raised in this analysis is how to reduce the findings of non-conformities in the results of internal audit and document management at PT. Dinar Makmur uses fishbone diagrams, PLAN – DO – CHECK – ACTION (PDCA) cycles and provides training for employees to employee evaluations until the findings of the company's internal audit results decline. After that, a calculation of the improvements that have been made is carried out by adding up the clause findings obtained after the audit and divided by the number of sections/departments multiplied by the number of points audited. So the results of the increase in the value of the audit as much as 12% success rate from before the repair. After improvements were made, there was a decrease in findings in the previous period January-June 2018 as many as 40 findings and in the July-December 2018 period as many as 30 findings, and the difference in the decline that has been achieved is 10 findings.

Abstract

In early 2020, COVID-19 was present and changed the socio-economic order of the community. All sectors were affected as well as industrial sectors for both manufacturing and services. The business' operation has changed to comply with health protocols to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. The impacts of the COVID-19 in the industry identified in this study were decreased income, supply chain disruption, the onset of free time at work, and implementation of health protocols. This impact caused changes in activities in the form of reduced working hours, reduction of workers, material and process efficiency, increased lead time and delays in distribution, physical distancing, activities to prevent exposure to COVID-19, disinfection activities in companies, early detection of COVID-19, and increased employee immunity. Strategies that can be carried out are building a commitment to maintaining discipline in implementing health protocols, utilizing digital technology (internet of things) to expand the market, and implementing a lean strategy to achieve efficiency or save resources.

Abstract

Material inventory as a very important thing for every company. Manufacturing companies generally have inventory to be able to provide the best service to customers. The purpose of this study is to try to achieve the minimum inventory levels possible, reduce storage costs, maximize material storage space for materials fast moving. The author uses ABC Analysis to determine the plastic ore material that is fast moving and is in class A. Then proceed with forecasting the needs of plastic ore raw materials for 2019. The Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method is used in this study after knowing the material in class A with a percentage value of 64.20% of material requirements and to determine the quantity of inventory orders that minimize the direct cost of storing inventory, ordering costs and optimizing the frequency of ordering materials. This research is useful for companies by minimizing direct costs of inventory storage, ordering costs and optimizing the frequency of ordering materials. PT. Nissen Chemitec Indonesia usually orders material in 1 year, 12 times material orders, which means that every month the company will order materials. In this analysis, forecasting of material needs is carried out for September 2019 to December 2019 because from the January to August period the company has purchased material. Material purchase with a lead time of 14 days for all types of material. Before using the EOQ method, the total inventory cost of raw materials is Rp. 2,286,376.58 and the company does not have a safety stock. If using the EOQ method the total inventory cost of raw materials is Rp. 812,009 with a frequency of ordering 1 time in 4 months period. The safety stock is 1,095 kg, and the reorder point is if the raw material is at the amount of 2,618 kg. This research is expected to minimize procurement costs and optimize the number of purchases that can be used at PT. Nissen Chemitec Indonesia so that all raw material procurement processes can be better for the company.
