Abstract

This study aims to determine at what temperature annealing which will produce compressive strength and good porosity in the brick waste natural fiber. This study was an experimental study with dick variables such as the proportion of clay and waste of natural powder that is 90%: 10%, each grain size 0.18 mm material, waste natural powder used is sawdust sawmill. The independent variable is the temperature annealing while the dependent variable is the compressive strength and porosity. And wastes natural clay powder mixed and given 5 liters of water, then in print square shaped measuring 6x6x6 cm by 20 pieces to determine the compressive strength and the cylinder-shaped measuring 10 x 7 cm by 4 units to determine the value of porosity. Each of these samples with variations in-Anneal Annealing temperature 7000C, 7500C, 8000C and 8500C using Electric Furnace. After data collection and data analysis of compressive strength and porosity of the importance of the value of the maximum compressive strength of 89.5 kg / cm2 at a temperature of 8500C and this value meets the standards. While the minimum porosity value was 2.10% at the temperature of 8500C.

Abstract

Mostly, teaching materials merely focus on formulas and theories, yet there has not been found any teaching materials oriented to Qur'an. Due to that reason, it is significant to provide materials enabling students to learn independently, especially, those correlating the physics materials with Qur'an.  Therefore, this study aimed to produce students' worksheets of physics, known as LKPD, correlating Qur?an with Guided Inquiry to achieve the students? competencies, particularly, in the topic of equilibrium and rotational dynamics. This study employed the Research and Development design with the 4-D research model consisting of four stages, namely defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. This LKPD also contains six stages of Guided Inquiry, namely orientation, formulating problems, formulating hypotheses, collecting data, testing hypotheses, and formulating conclusions. Every stage of Guided Inquiry engages the Qur?an verses with the material. The findings showed the validity of LKPD was at 88% categorized as very valid. The questionnaires resulted 88% of teachers and 70.3% of students categorized as very practical and practical. The average post-test score for students? competence (82.45) is higher than the average pre-test score (49.64) and N-gain of 0.77 considered high and effective. In conclusion, the physics students' worksheet or LKPD which employed Guided Inquiry corresponding with Qur?an is considered valid, practical, and effective to promote students in learning physics.

Abstract

Anggapan siswa mengenai materi fisika yang sulit, tidak menarik membuat mereka tidak aktif pada pembelajaran fisika. Ditambah lagi penggunaan buku cetak dan LKS yang dipinjamkan sekolah atau difotocopi siswa. Bahasanya sulit dipahami, hanya berisi rangkuman singkat terkait materi, rangkuman rumus-rumus, soal-soal latihan yang sangat banyak dan tidak berbasis suatu strategi serta tidak menuntun siswa untuk menemukan konsep. Ini merupakan latar belakang mengapa peneliti mengembangkan  modul fisika berbasis REACT berintegrasi Qur’an.   Sehingga dihasilkan modul yang valid dan praktis yang sesuai dengan karakteristik dan kebutuhan siswa serta membuat siswa dapat belajar secara mandiri dan aktif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (research development) terdiri dari tiga tahap yaitu: pendefinisian (define), perancangan (design), dan pengembangan (development). Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi modul, lembar wawancara dan angket respon siswa. Uji validasi modul dibantu oleh 3 orang dosen dan 1 orang guru sebagai validator, setelah uji kelayakan modul, maka dilakukan penyebaran angket respon siwa yang melibatkan  23 orang siswa. Pengisian angket menggunakan skala Likert dengan range 1-4, data yang didapat kemudian dianalisis secara kuantitatif sesuai dengan kriteria validitas dan praktikalitas. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul fisika berbasis REACT berintegrasi Qur’an pada materi suhu dan kalor sangat  valid dengan hasil validitas yang diperoleh adalah 84,24%. Untuk kepraktisan modul fisika berbasis REACT berintegrasi Qur’an materi suhu dan kalor memiliki kategori sangat praktis dengan persentase kepraktisan sebesar 91,76%

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact in the field that many students experience difficulties in basic physics lectures caused by learning methods, task difficulties, and inappropriate learning methods. Lecturers have difficulty providing an understanding of physics to students, because many students have misconceptions about physics from high school. Students are used to the physics learning style they brought from high school, such as relaxed learning, the teacher gives formulas instead of understanding physics concepts. As well as referring to one of the missions of the FTIK IAIN Batusangkar that lecturer activities must integrate the Al-Qur’an and hadith. The purpose of this research is to produce a basic physics Student Activity Sheet integrating the Al-Qur’an with scaffolding approach a valid and practical. This research is a type of development research with the ADDIE model. The research instruments used were validation sheets and student response questionnaire sheets. Based on the results of product are in the very valid category with a percentage of 84, 00%. Results from student and lecturer response questionnaires found that the student developed were practical with a percentage of 84, 81% and 75, 00% in the very practical category and practical category

Abstract

After the Covid-19 pandemic, the learning system changed. Learning must use appropriate and IT-based media. The limitations of the learning media used, the view that learning physics is difficult coupled with the learning methods used by the teacher tends to make students lazy. As a result, this has an impact on the value of students. The solution is that researchers develop physics learning videos using STEM-based Animaker applications. This study aims to develop physics learning videos to support physics learning on temperature and heat material. The type of research used is research and development which refers to the 4D development model (Define, Develop, and Disseminate). However, the research was only carried out until the development stage due to time and cost limitations. The instrument data used is a product validation sheet. Research data was obtained from two lecturers and one teacher. The results of research and discussion that physics learning videos using STEM-based Animaker applications on temperature and heat material are declared valid with the percentage of each aspect, content quality aspect 80.20%, instructional aspect 86.45%, technical aspect 64.28% so that the total number of aspects obtained results with a percentage of 77.17% which is categorized as valid.

Abstract

Factors that affect the learning process in schools are the availability of teaching materials and learning media used. This causes the ability to understand concepts independently has not been achieved. Based on these problems, a research was conducted that aims to develop a web-based learning media google sites with the use of the PhET application in the learning of static fluid physics material that is valid and practical. This type of research is development research and research with the ADDIE research model (Analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate). In this study, the researcher used a validation instrument in the form of media validation which consisted of 3 validators, namely 2 lecturers and 1 teacher. Practical instrument in the form of a questionnaire response of educators and students who were tested on 27 students and 4 teachers. The results of the product validity have met the very valid criteria with a percentage of 86,61%. At the practical stage, the results of the teacher and student response questionnaires obtained a percentage of 97,67% and 84,00% with a very practical category. So the google sites web-based physics learning media with the use of PhET applications on static fluid meters can be said to be valid and practical to use.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine whether students who used the Self Organized Learning Environments (SOLE) learning model using the Microsoft Teams application had better learning outcomes than students who used the face-to-face learning model. The post-trial-only control group design is a study design used in quasi-experimental studies. The population of this study was XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Bukittinggi. Two classes are sampled, that is, experimental class XI IPA 7 and control class XI IPA 6, which are sampled through normality test, homogeneity test and population mean similarity test. The sampling method uses simple random sampling where the results of the analysis found that both classes of samples are normally distributed, have homogeneous variants and the average population class is the same. The 20-question final exam is a tested and analyzed research tool. The experimental class achieved an average overall score of 80.13 for the cognitive domain, while the control class got an average final test score of 77.28. For the affective domain, the average value of the experimental class was 73.19, while the average value of the control class was 71.61. For the psychomotor domain, the average value of the experimental class was 73.51, while the average value of the control class was 70.04. The research hypothesis explains that "the learning outcomes of students who apply the SOLE (Self Organized Learning Environments) learning model assisted by the Microsoft Teams application are better than the learning outcomes of students who apply the direct learning model" formulated based on research results.

Abstract

The teaching materials used by teachers are still simple and limited methods, such as only using power points and printed books. The available teaching materials are not integrated with the Qur’an and are technology-based. One of the current technologies being developed is Augmented Reality (AR) which can transform images into 3 dimensions. AR can help visualize Solar System material so that it can attract students' attention. Therefore it is necessary to develop a Solar System module with an Augmented Problem-Based Learning Model. Reality (AR) integrated Qur’an. The type of development research used is the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The data collection technique used is quantitative data collection and quantitative data analysis techniques come from validation instruments. The module was validated in terms of media validation, material, and interpretation. The population of this study is class VII at MTsN 2 Kota Sawahlunto while the sample used is class VIIA. The sampling technique used is Probability Sampling. The results show that the validation of material experts is 83.01% (category is very valid), media validation is 87,5%, (category is very valid), and interpretation validation is 94.4% (category is very valid). Overall, all aspect of validation shows a very valid. So this module was also very valid.
