Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar Geometri Analitik dengan Metode Belended Learning pada Mahasiswa Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Muhammadiyah Sorong. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (class room action receach) yang terdiri dari beberapa tahap yaitu perencanaan,  pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi/evaluasi dan refleksi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada bulan Juni – Juli 2019. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada mata kuliah geometri analitik di universitas muhammadiyah sorong. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa banyaknya mahasiswa yang tuntas pada pembelajaran geometri analitik setelah diberikan tindakan pada siklus I sebanyak 43% dan mengalami peningkat pada siklus II sebesar 86%. Sama halnya dengan hasil belajar, peningkatan terjadi juga pada hasil observasi peningkatan motivasi pembelajaran mahasiswa pada materi geometri analitik, frekuensi indikator bertanya sebesar 76%, menjawab sebesar 67%, memberi pendapat sebesar 67%, bekerja sama sebesar 90%, dan minat sebesar 86%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa motivasi belajar geometri analitik mahasiswa mengalami peningkatan setelah diterapkan metode belajar blended learning.

Abstract

This research is a development study with the aim of determining the feasibility of geometric interactive media that is carried out in students of SMA AL-Amin Kota Sorong and evaluating the effectiveness of interactive multimedia based on the opinions of linguists, media specialists, and material experts. The four steps of the development process are the defining stage (define), the design stage (design), the development stage (develop), and the deployment stage. This development model is called the 4-D device development model (Four D Model) (disseminate). Linguists, subject matter experts, and media specialists were contacted about and evaluated the interactive multimedia that had been developed. The subject matter in Interactive Multimedia is related to geometry. According to the assessment of linguists in the development of multimedia learning, this study has succeeded in developing multimedia interactive geometry that has a very decent quality with an average of 3.7, while in the assessment of material experts obtained an average assessment of 3.6 and based on media experts, this study has obtained an average score of 3.5 which is categorized so that based on the assessment criteria, interactive multimedia meets the eligibility criteria

Abstract

An important aspect in advancing a nation is to enhance the quality of its education, a crucial part of which is the preparation of high-quality teaching materials that are in line with contemporary developments. This research was conducted with the goal of improving student learning outcomes by using a digital book on selected topics in Mathematics II. The study employed the 4D research development method to develop the textbook on selected topics in Mathematics II, which was then applied to third semester mathematics education students. The teaching media was validated by experts competent in language, media, and material aspects. The validation results for the language aspect were 98%, media 95%, and material 99%, indicating that the teaching media is valid. The study found that the average pre-test score was 38.27, while the post-test score was 74.23. Based on the pre-test and post-test results, the n-Gain value of the learning outcomes improvement was 0.6 in the medium category, and the average test score was 79.42 with a classical completeness of 85%. These results demonstrate that the application of the digital book on selected topics in Mathematics II is effective in improving student learning outcomes.
