Abstract

Stunting is a condition where growth disorders in children are closely related to inadequate nutritional intake. Stunting is currently the focus of health problems faced at global, national and local levels, so fast and responsive treatment is needed to overcome this. Based on WHO data, around 21.9% of toddlers or around 149 million children under five experience stunting throughout the world and in Indonesia around 21.6% in 2022. Meanwhile, Indonesia has set a target for the prevalence of stunting to decrease to 14% in 2024. The aim of this community service is to determine the sanitary condition of the family environment as one of the factors causing stunting in toddlers; 2) to determine the effectiveness of the counseling and PMT program on stunted toddlers, in terms of increasing the weight and height of stunted toddlers in Palopo City. This activity was carried out in Palopo City in 2 (two) places, namely Takkalala and Binturu sub-districts. The number of participants was 14 toddlers and their families. The method used is specific intervention through PMT using local food and sensitive intervention through family counseling using digital media. The results of community service show that the factor that drives stunting in the city of Palopo is poor sanitation in the family environment. Providing counseling to families and local food PMTs has had a positive impact on accelerating the reduction of stunting, which is indicated by a significant increase in TB and BW in children under five after being given the intervention. It is hoped that this activity can be increased and continued in monitoring and evaluation activities for intervention to reduce stunting in the city of Palopo.

Abstract

This study aims to understand how students' parents' income and lifestyle influence their ability to manage personal finances. The focus of this research is students majoring in Management, considering that they are expected to have basic knowledge of financial management. This study uses a quantitative approach to collect data. The sample of students who were still actively receiving questionnaires was 65 students. The population in the study were Management students class 2021-2023 at the Faculty of Economics and Business. Using the Proportional Random Sampling method as a sampling method using data analyzed using the Multiple Regression Analysis test and t test and F test. From the results of the analysis, the author obtained the results of multiple linear regression analysis and obtained the equation Y = 9.673 + 0.490X1 + 0.034X2, which means that financial management (Y) is influenced by parents' income (X1) and lifestyle (X2). In synthesis, the results of the analysis show that every 1 unit increase in parental income will improve financial management by 0.490 units, while every 1 unit increase in lifestyle will increase financial management by 0.034 units. From the results of the t test, the influence of parental income on financial management is significant, with a significance level of 0.006 and a calculated t value of 2.863 which is greater than the critical value of 1.998. On the other hand, Lifestyle does not influence Financial Management, with a significance level of 0.829 which is greater than the general significance level and a calculated t value of 0.217 which is less than the critical value of 1.998. In the F Test results, the calculated f value was 5.338 which was greater than the table f value of 2.39. It is proven that H03 is rejected and H3 is accepted. Therefore, it is concluded that the influence of parental income (X1) and lifestyle (X2) has an influence on financial management (Y).

Abstract

Indonesian students need to possess the qualities and skills outlined in the Pancasila Student Profile (P3) in order to succeed in the classroom and in society after graduation. There are still problems with the Pancasila Student Profile implementation process, such as teachers' not being competence to interpret P3 in relation to it. Teachers still struggle to determine when P3 should be implemented, and they don't seem creative when it comes to making a project to the unique needs of the chosen students. They also seem to believe that all projects must result in a finished output. The goal of the project seminar, which is a type of community service activity, is to help social studies teachers in the city of Parepare understand how to use Pancasila students (p5) in the classroom as a way to develop students' character. The seminar is focused on raising the profile of Pancasila students (p5) in the junior high school level in the social studies field. Observing teacher needs through surveys and interviews, planning, and seminar execution are the first steps in the implementation process employed for this community activity. The findings of the questionnaires completed by seminar attendees after the activity are used to assess the degree of success of the service. According to the computations from the questionnaire, 93,86% of respondents fell into the very good category. The results of this evaluation indicate that the activities carried out were able to increase teachers' knowledge regarding P3, increase understanding in implementing P3, and motivate teachers to implement P3 in schools well. As a result, it is strongly advised that service projects be conducted often to help teachers become more successful at applying the Pancasila student profile.
