Abstract

Purpose – This research aims to analyze what factors keep women economically empowered during the COVID-19 period. The basic theory used is the theory of famines of poverty (Amartya Sen), which states that one of the main factors for women's economic empowerment is access to financial resources. In this study, the financial governance carried out refers to the Islamic Wealth Management concept developed by experts.Methodology - The method used in this study is quantitative with a causality approach, and besides that, the data analysis technique used is Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The subjects of this study were female micro-entrepreneurs who were able to be empowered during the Covid-19 pandemic. Findings - The results of this study conclude that of the five aspects of Islamic Wealth Management, there are wealth accumulation, wealth protection, and wealth distribution have a significant effect on women's economic empowerment. Furthermore, the wealth creation and wealth purification variables do not have a significant effect on women's economic empowerment.

Abstract

Responsible consumption has been recognized as one of the efforts to achieve the SDGs, but it still requires much refinement, and at the moment, there is little time left until 2030 to achieve the SDGs. The academic literature is carried out through the PRISMA method, analyzing the study descriptively and thematically, and performing analysis synthesis to report the study results. The findings of this study are that the concept of responsible consumer behavior in a sustainable context has evolved in a more specific direction, no longer being a general statement of direct support for the SDGs. However, its implementation focuses on consumers' consumption consciousness to make their choices wiser, influenced by various internal and external factors. Based on the study we have drawn up a framework for developing research topics on sustainable behavior so that further research can quickly implement research themes across various industrial sectors and from multiple perspectives.

Abstract

The importance of growing consumer buying interest to encourage decisions to purchase a product has attracted researchers' interest in investigating factors that can influence it. This research was conducted using quantitative methods with descriptive and verification approaches. The primary data came from the answers of respondents who were gathered using a non-probability sampling technique with a purposive sampling and convenience approach, while the secondary data were from the results of a literature study. The obtained data were then analyzed using the SEM-PLS analysis technique with the help of SmartPls 3 software. The research shows that the intensity of Instagram social media advertising has a direct, significant positive influence on Young Living's brand image. Brand image has a direct, significant positive influence on Young Living's buying interest. Instagram social media advertising intensity has no influence on Young Living buying interest, and brand image has a role in mediating the indirect influence of Instagram social media advertising intensity on Young Living buying interest with a significant positive value.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and map the development of literature on Islamic financial literacy. This study uses bibliometric method with VOSviewer and Microsoft Excel as the analysis tool. There were 84 relevant articles collected through the Scopus database obtained using the keyword "Islamic Financial Literacy" with a time span of 13 years, 2011 to 2023. The data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive method with bibliometric analysis. The study results show that the development of research has increased over the past 13 years. the peak of publications occurred in 2023. There were 79 authors, 52 journals, and 15 countries participating in the Islamic financial literacy study.  Asia is the continent with the most publications and citations with 9 countries. The subject of Islamic financial literacy is the most used subject in this study.Keywords: Islamic Financial Literacy, Scopus, VOSViewer, Bibliometric AnalysisPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan memetakan perkembangan literatur mengenai literasi keuangan syariah. Studi ini menggunakan metode bibliometrik dengan VOSviewer dan Microsoft Excel sebagai alat analisisnya. Terdapt 84 artikel relevan yang berhasil dikumpulkan melalui database scopus yang diperoleh menggunakan kata kunci “Literasi keuangan syariah” dengan rentang waktu 13 tahun, 2011 hingga 2023. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan analisis bibliometrik. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa perkembangan penelitian mengalami kenaikan selama 13 tahun terakhir. puncak publikasi terjadi pada tahun 2023. Terdapat 79 penulis, 52 jurnal, dan 15 negara yang berpartisipasi dalam studi literasi keuangan syariah.  Asia menjadi benua yang paling banyak melakukan penerbitan dan memperoleh kutipan dengan 9 negara. Subjek literasi keuangan syariah merupakan subjek yang paling banyak digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Kata kunci: Literasi Keuangan Syariah, Scopus, VOSviewer, Analisis Bibliometrik

Abstract

Looking at the influence of sharia financial literacy, return expectations, perceived convenience, and perceived benefits on students' investment decisions using sharia mutual fund products through digital investment platforms. The method used is a quantitative approach, descriptive causality design with the Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) analysis tool with the help of the SmartPLS 4 application. The results of this research descriptively show that the level of return expectations, the level of perceived convenience, and the level of perceived benefits are in the high category and the level of sharia financial literacy is in the medium category. In addition, the hypothesis results show that the level of sharia financial literacy, return expectations, perceived convenience, and perceived benefits have a significant positive effect on students' investment decisions using sharia mutual fund products through digital investment platforms.

Abstract

Zakat plays a crucial role in sustainable development, embodying both direct worship to Allah SWT and social responsibility towards fellow human beings. As a form of worship that emphasizes social and spiritual values, zakat, along with infaq and sadaqah, can significantly enhance community welfare when managed effectively. Recognized as a crucial instrument in Islamic finance, zakat is instrumental in poverty alleviation, directly supporting the first Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) of eradicating poverty. Despite its importance, the relationship between zakat and the SDGs remains underexplored in academic research. This study aims to bridge this gap by analyzing the trends in zakat research and its impact on sustainable development through a bibliometric analysis of 40 articles published in international journals from 2017–2022, sourced from the dimensions.ai database. Utilizing qualitative methods and the VOSviewer application for data visualization, this research provides a comprehensive overview of zakat's role in achieving the SDGs. The findings serve as a valuable resource for researchers and policymakers, highlighting the empirical evidence of zakat's potential in poverty alleviation and reinforcing its significance in sustainable development.========================================================================================================ABSTRAK – Pemetaan Riset Zakat dan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan: Analisis Blibliometrik. Zakat memainkan peranan penting dalam pembangunan berkelanjutan (Sustainable Development Goals - SDGs) dan memiliki dua aspek, yaitu ibadah langsung kepada Allah SWT sekaligus bagian dari tanggung jawab sosial kepada sesama manusia. Sebagai bentuk ibadah yang menekankan nilai-nilai sosial dan spiritual, zakat, bersama dengan infak dan sedekah, akan dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat secara signifikan jika dikelola dengan baik. Sebagai instrumen penting dalam sistem keuangan syariah, zakat sangat berperan dalam pengentasan kemiskinan, mendukung langsung tujuan pertama dari SDGs, yaitu pengentaskan kemiskinan. Walaupun demikian, hubungan antara zakat dan SDGs masih kurang dieksplorasi dalam penelitian akademis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjembatani kesenjangan ini dengan menganalisis tren penelitian zakat dan dampaknya terhadap SDGs melalui analisis bibliometrik terhadap 40 artikel yang diterbitkan di jurnal internasional periode 2017-2022, yang bersumber dari database “dimensions.ai”. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif dan aplikasi VOSviewer untuk visualisasi data, penelitian ini memberikan gambaran komprehensif tentang peran zakat dalam mencapai tujuan SDGs tersebut. Penelitian ini menggarisbawahi perlunya eksplorasi lebih lanjut mengenai peran zakat dalam SDGs sebagai solusi kunci untuk pengentansan kemiskinan global. Temuan penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi sumber yang berharga bagi peneliti dan pembuat kebijakan, menyoroti bukti empiris potensi zakat dalam pengentasan kemiskinan dan memperkuat signifikansinya dalam pembangunan berkelanjutan.
