Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated by a concern for local culture, especially music accompaniment to Gamelan dance. The purpose of this study is to describe the analysis of musical accompaniment to the Gamelan dance in Ketapang Regency. The theory used is about the structure of music, elements of music, musicology, rhythmic patterns, musical forms and chords. The method used in this research is descriptive analytic method with a form of qualitative research. The approach used in this research is the musicology approach. Data obtained from interviews and observations about the musical accompaniment of Gamelan dance in Ketapang Regency, direct communication. Data collection tools used in this study are researchers as the main instrument, cloud guidelines and observation guidelines. Checking the validity of the data of this study uses the extension of observation and triangulation techniques. Data analysis techniques in this study are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the Gamelan dance accompaniment is a musical composition with one part and has two sentences. The tempo used is the moderato tempo. This Gamelan dance accompaniment has one form which includes two sentences, and five motifs. Based on the results of this study it is hoped that it can reactivate the traditional artists in the Ketapang Regency, West Kalimantan. Keywords: Accompaniment Music Analysis, Bajadi Traditional, Gamelan dance

Abstract

AbstractThe research problem is related to the Tari Langkah 12 Presentation Strcture in Balai Sebut kecamatan Jangkang Kabupaten Sanggau. This study aims to describe the structure of the presentation of  Tari Langkah 12 in Balai Sebut Kecamatan Jangkang Kabupaten Sanggau. The method used is descriptive method with a qualitative form and choreograpic approach. The data of this research is to find out the overall structre of  Tari Langkah 12 from the composision of a presentation. Data collection techniques are triangulation, observation, interview, and documentation to the speakers Sdarmodjo, Mustafa Tomik and Abang Sahl Nizam. Data analysis techniqes include data redction, data presentation and verification. Based on the results of the study concluded with that Tari Langkah 12 is expected to appear in the 1940s. Motion is divided into three namely there are initial movements, middle movements (contests) and closing motion and connecting monition. Three are supporting elements of dance, namely clothing,cosmetology, music The results of the study can be a material for teachers to handle or teaching matetials in schools in learning Cultural Arts.    Keywords: Presentation Structure, Tari Langkah 12

Abstract

AbstractThis research was motivated by the uniqueness of vocal melodies in Jepin Rotan dance accompaniment. The purpose of this study was to describe the analysis of musical accompaniment of Jepin Rotan dance in Pontianak. The theory used was about the structure of music, elements of music, musicology, rhythmic patterns, musical forms and chords. The method used in this research was analytic descriptive method with qualitative research form. The approach used in this research was the musicology approach. Data obtained from interviews and observations about the accompaniment of Jepin Rotan dance in Pontianak. Data collection tools used in this study were researcher as the main instrument, interview guidelines and observation guidelines. Checking the validity of the data of this study was used the extension of observation and triangulation techniques. Data analysis techniques in this study were data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicated that Jepin Rotan dance accompaniment was a musical composition with one part and has two sentences. The tempo used was between 90 and 120. In the vocals there was also some ornaments or twists on the accompaniment song of the Jepin Rotan dance. Jepin Rotan dance accompaniment had a form that included two sentences, two phrases and two motifs. Based on the results of this study are expected to reactivate traditional artists, especially those in the Pontianak, West Kalimantan.  Key words: Analysis, Music Accompanied of Jepin Rotan

Abstract

AbstractThis research was motivated there is uniqueness of the vocal melody of the accompaniment songs of Jepin Senggayong dance from Kayong Utara Regency has been the researcher's interest in carrying out this study directed at describing the aspects of the music. Theories used for the study were the structures, elements, musicology, rhythm patterns, forms, and the chords of the music. This is qualitative research using the descriptive-analytic method with musicology approach. the data were gathered from the interviews and observation on the researched accompaniment music, of which the data were collected using observation, direct communication, and documentary study techniques. Along with interview and observation guides, the researcher acted as the main instrument of research. The data were validated by extended observation and triangulation techniques and were analyzed by data reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The findings show that the accompaniment of Jepin Senggayong music is music consiting of twoparts that comprise two sentence. The tempo used ranges from 90 or 110. In the vocal section three are also ornaments with two forms of music which includetwo sentences with three phrasesand six motifs.This study suggests the reactivation of traditional artists to preserve their traditional music and dance as part of the culture, particularly in the Kayong Utara Regency, Kalimantan Barat. Keywords: Analysis, Accompaniment Music, Jepin Senggayong Dance

Abstract

AbstractThe aspects of Jepin Tembung Pendek dance by M. Yusuf Dahyani has been the researcher’s interest to explore and analyze through this research. The aim of this study is to define the structure of the dance performance. This research was conducted using a descriptive method. Through observation, interviews, and documentation techniques the data were collected in the form of presentation structure of Jepin Tembung Pendek dance that comprises 3 main parts of dance (beginning, middle, and end) from the informants M Yusuf Dahyani and Anwar Dzafar. Based on the results of the interview, the dance was debuted in the 1930s. The previous basic movement of dance was created by Mr Unggal Jais from Teluk Pak Kedai. At that time, dance had not undergone any change in the components of motion, music, and costumes. The supporting elements of the dance are music, costumes, and attributes. Abstract

Kata Kunci:Pola Tabuhan, Raddat KokoPenelitian ini membahas mengenai pola tabuhan dan teknik memainkan alat musik Tahar dan Kedumba dalam kesenian Raddat Koko di Desa Sekuduk Kecamatan Sejangkung Kabupaten Sambas. Masalah dalam penelitian yaitu bagaimana pola tabuhan dan Teknik memainkan alat musik Tahar dan Kedumba dalam kesenian Raddat Koko di Desa Sekuduk Kecamatan Sejangkung Kabupaten Sambas. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analisis dengan bentuk penelitian kualitaitf. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pendekatan musikologi. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah hasil wawancara dengan Narasumber dan pelaku di kesenian Raddat Koko yaitu Kusnadi, Ramlan, dan Muhammad Syafiq. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu pola tabuhan dalam kesenian Raddat Koko menggunakan birama 4/4. Instrument yang digunakan dalam kesenian ini adalah tahar/tar dan kedumba. Tahar mempunyai tiga motif tabuhan yaitu induk, anak dan ningkah. Sikap memainkan alat musik tahar dan kedumba yaitu dengan berdiri dan duduk yang disesuaikan oleh situasi dan kondisi.
