Abstract

The use of books today is inseparable from the rapid development of technology, one of the book developments that attracts a lot of interest from teachers is digital books. Digital books themselves are very suitable for complex and memorizing learning such as macroeconomics courses, the reason digital books are suitable for macroeconomic learning is that they can be carried anytime and anywhere. This study aims to see the feasibility of the product being developed, namely a digital book on macroeconomic material. The feasibility of the digital book made is divided into two, namely the feasibility of the experts and the feasibility of the sample (students). This research is an R&D type with the selected development model, namely the ADDIE development model. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling with a sample of 36 active students of economic education study program. There are 3 data collection instruments used including media and material expert validation instruments which have 10 statements and student response instruments totaling 28 statements. Analysis of the data used in the form of descriptive statistics. The results of material validation for both validators were 42 (very good) and 37 (good), then for media experts, a score of 38 (good) and 39 (good), while for student responses to the material aspect, a score of 29.25 (worth it) was obtained. , media aspect is 52.5 (very worth it), output aspect is 9.75 (worth it), and for all aspects is 91.5 (very worth it). Based on the results that have been obtained from the validation and small group trials, it shows that digital books on macroeconomic material are appropriate to be used as complementary learning resources in macroeconomics lectures.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of entrepreneurial experience and motivation on the success of students of the Jambi University Entrepreneurship Student Program (ESP). This research uses the ex post facto method. The subjects in this study were students who received ESP Program funding in 2018, totaling 50 business groups. Data were analyzed descriptively and quantitatively using multiple regression. Statistical test results show the accuracy of the model as a predictor of 44 percent. The experience of entrepreneurship has a positive and significant effect on the success of student ventures. Entrepreneurial motivation does not affect the success of student ventures. Simultaneously entrepreneur experience and entrepreneurial motivation have a positive and significant effect on the success of student ventures. The results of this study recommend that ESP program managers be more selective in determining students who receive start-up business funds to be more productive and efficient. Future research should examine other factors that influence the success of student efforts to produce more comprehensive studies as a basis for policy.

Abstract

The decision to purchase reference books is a form of a student's positive attitude in meeting learning needs. This study was conducted to analyze the effect of product and price perceptions on reference book purchasing decisions. This research was conducted on 80 students of the Jambi University Economic Education Study Program class of 2017. Data were obtained from the results of a survey using a questionnaire. The data were analyzed using the logit regression model because the dependent variable data were categorical (buying and not buying). The results of the analysis show that product perception has a significant influence on purchasing decisions for reference books at an error rate (alpha) of 5 percent. Student perceptions of price also significantly influence the decision to purchase reference books at an error level (alpha) of 5 percent. Taken together, product perception and price significantly influence the purchasing decision of reference books. Thus, it is recommended for students to make the right decision by understanding the quality and usefulness of reference books to meet their learning needs and supported by adequate purchasing power.

Abstract

COMMUNITY ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT THROUGH THE SHARIA COOPERATIVE SYSTEM IN THE VILLAGE OF MENDALO INDAH. The weakening of the community economy is due to the fact that resource management is still partial and not yet systematic. Massive awareness is needed to build a strong economy so that it can face market competition. The purpose of this service is to realize the economic independence of the community through strengthening capital, increasing expertise and strengthening institutions. Empowerment of the community's economy is carried out by disseminating the Sharia Cooperative system, mentoring community financial management and processing businesses based on the syariah cooperative system. The object of service is the community of Arza Griya Mandiri housing in Mendalo Indah Village who are members of a business group. Through community service activities, community potential empowerment is carried out through a syariah cooperative system. From this activity, community businesses are formed which are managed based on a sharia cooperative system consisting of 17 members and having two business units in the field of trade and payment services for waste transportation. By raising funds from members 'savings, it is able to facilitate the development of members' businesses through capital loans. With the existence of business development based on the sharia cooperative system, the community gets additional income from the SHU share.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the influence of factors that: influence consumer attitudes in choosing to enter a tutoring institution in the city of Padang in terms of potential factors, decision factors, partial and simultaneous consumer satisfaction value factors on consumer attitudes. The research method used is descriptive quantitative with a population of 20738 students who become consumers at tutoring institutions in the city of Padang. The sampling technique used is the Probability Random Sampling technique so that the sample of this study amounted to 392 people. The data were analyzed in two ways, namely: 1) using multiple linear regression to determine the factors that influence consumer attitudes with t and F tests at a significance level of = 0.05; 2) The attitude model of consumers choosing to enter a tutoring institution in Padang City is predicted based on the attitude toward the object model or the Fishbein model. The results showed that partially the institutional potential factors had a positive influence, the purchasing decision factor had a positive influence and the consumer satisfaction value factor had a significant negative influence on the attitudes of consumers choosing to enter a tutoring institution in the city of Padang. Meanwhile, simultaneously these factors have a significant influence on consumer attitudes in choosing tutoring institutions in the city of Padang. The consumer attitude model based on the Fishbein model choosing to enter a tutoring institution in the city of Padang has an average score of 32.62. This means that the tutoring institution in the city of Padang has the attributes that consumers want.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Locus of Control dan Adversity quotient terhadap Kesiapan Kerja Pada Mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial Universitas Jambi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah angkatan 2017 yang berjumlah 129 mahasiswa, penentuan pengambilan sampel menggunakan rumus slovin dengan jumlah sampel 97 mahasiswa. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan Angket. Analisi data menggunakan analisis statistic deskriptif dan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil analisis deskriptif diperoleh bahwa variabel locus of control dalam katagori rendah, Variabel adversity quotient dalam katagori rendah, dan variabel Kesiapan Kerja dalam katagori rendah. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh secara bersamaan Locus of control dan Adversity quotient terhadap Kesiapan Kerja hal ini dilihat dari hasil uji F yang diperoleh diperoleh nilai Fhitung 8,021 lebih besar dari Ftabel 3,09, dengan nilai probabilitas sig 0,001 lebih kecil dari 0,05. Kemudian presentasi sumbangan pengaruh variabel pengaruh variabel Locus of control (X1) dan Adversity Quotient (X2) terhadap kualitas Kesiapan Kerja (Y) sebesar 14,6%, sisanya 85,4% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh Locus of control dan Adversity quotient terhadap Kesiapan Kerja pada Mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial Universitas Jambi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh status ekonomi orang tua dan literasi ekonomi secara parsial maupun simultan terhadap pola konsumsipada mahasiswa PIPS Universitas Jambi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Jurusan PIPS Universitas Jambi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan penelitian Ex Post Facto. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dengan bantuan google form yang disebarkan pada sampel penelitian sebanyak 210 mahasiswa Jurusan PIPS Universitas Jambi. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan Sample Random Sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji linearitas, uji multikolinearitas, uji heteroskedastisitas, uji autokorelasi uji regresi linear berganda, uji t, uji F, dan koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat pengaruh X1 terhadap Y dengan thitung> ttabel (2,119>1.971); (2) terdapat pengaruh X2 terdapat Y diperoleh thitung> ttabel (6,974>1,971); (3) terdapat pengaruh secara simultan, X1 dan X2 terhadap Y berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh Fhitung> Ftabel (29,724>3,04) dan koefisien determinasi (R2) sebesar 0,223 yang berarti bahwa Pola Konsumsi dipengaruhi Status Ekonomi Orang Tua dan Literasi Ekonomi sebesar 22,3%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh literasi digital dan motivasi terhadap kepercayaan diri dalam berkarir sebagai guru pada mahasiswa jurusan PIPS angkatan 2018 FKIP Universitas Jambi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif dengan metode Ex-post Facto. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dengan bantuan google form yang disebarkan pada sampel penelitian sebanyak 129 mahasiswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan teknik Simple random sampling. Hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Terdapat pengaruh Literasi Digital terhadap Kepercayaan Diri dalam Berkarir sebagai Guru, (2) Terdapat pengaruh Motivasi terhadap Kepercayaan Diri dalam Berkarir sebagai Guru, (3) Terdapat pengaruh Literasi Digital dan Motivasi terhadap Kepercayaan Diri dalam Berkarir sebagai Guru. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara Literasi Digital dan Motivasi terhadap Kepercayaan Diri dalam Berkarir sebagai Guru.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh Manajemen Waktu dan Pemanfaatan Teknologi Informasi terhadap Hasil Belajar pada mahasiswa prodi Pendidikan Ekonomi Angkatan 2018-2019 FKIP Universitas Jambi. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Ekonomi Angkatan 2018-2019 yang berjumlah 160 mahasiswa dengan sampel 114 mahasiswa. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan angket yang disebarkan secara online melalui google form. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Dari hasil penelitian pengaruh manajemen waktu terhadap hasil belajard diketahui nilai thitung sebesar 7.853. diketahui nilai ttabel = 1.658, karena thitung > ttabel yaitu 7.853 > 1.658 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa HO ditolak dan Ha diterima. (2) dari hasil penelitian pengaruh pemanfaatan teknologi informasi terhadap hasil belajar diketahui nilai thitung sebesar 2.278. Diketahui nilai ttabel = 1.658. Karena thitung > ttabel yaitu 2,278 > 1.658 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa HO ditolak dan Ha diterima (3) dari hasil penelitian pengaruh manajemen waktu dan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi terhadap hasil belajar diperoleh nilai Fhitung sebesar 58.195 dan pada df1 = k -1 = 3 – 1 = 2, df2 = n – k = 62 – 2 = 60 diketahui Ftabel sebesar 3.08 sehingga dapat diketahui bahwa Fhitung > Ftabel atau 58.195 > 3.08 maka HO ditolak dan Ha diterima Kata kunci: Manajemen Waktu, Pemanfaatan Teknologi Informasi, Hasil Belajar
