Construction of the mosque not only pay attention to the physical building, but also must be optimized pemakmurannya. Efforts to raise the quality of life can be achieved by improving the Human Resources (HR) to carry out economic and social activities based mosques. This paper discusses How do standards of living and the mosque's role in public life, and how the role of the mosque in the village of Wonosasi improve people's lives, District Tapango, Polman. This study uses qualitative descriptive method, since it attempts to find the mosque's role in improving the welfare of the ummah. Research is needed to understand the organization's activities (mosque) in accordance with the wishes and needs of society.

The socio-political leadership in the Kingdom of Balanipa strongly influenced by the history of its formation and relations with several significant kingdoms in South Sulawesi, also affected by the penetration of the colonizing nation into the land of Mandar. This study uses the concept of royal leadership with a historical approach, the time of colonization, and the inclusion of Islamic understanding in several kingdoms in South Sulawesi. By using several theories of historians, such as Ahmad Sewang, Muhammad Daud Amin, Edwar Polinggomang, and several studies of Ancient Manuscripts about the Balanipa Mandar and kingdom, such as Lontar to Napo, Luaor and Balanar Mandar. This research is a grounded research, namely in the form of historical research that seeks to recover data and historical sources both written in a number of books and classic texts such as the Lontara Mandar manuscript, and in speech, in the form of stories and testimonies by historical figures in the land of Mandar and know much about the history of the kingdom of Balanipa. The analysis shows that the discourse about the history of the kingdom in Mandar began from the formation of the kingdom of Balanipa in the mid-16th century, even though there was a large kingdom that was prominent before that was the Kingdom of Passokkorang (in Mapilli, Polman) and the Kingdom of Baras (in Pasangkayu, North Mamuju). The coronation of the king as the leader and appointment of the King in the kingdom of Balanipa, has strict requirements, one of which is to become a king, must bequeath a value of the principles of leadership that must prioritize the interests of the people, especially those relating to economic life, social, security and public order.

Grammar has been a problem for the EFL learners around the world. It encourages researcher to conduct this research. This action research project aims to see the students’ grammar achievement by using scramble game. The design of this research was Classroom Action Research. This research ran the four steps: Planning the action, implementing, observing, and reflecting the action. The research was conducted in SMP Negeri 2 located in the cities of Kolaka, Southeast Sulawesi. The data of the study were obtained from the result of observation sheet and from the grammar test, which were taken during the implementation of the action. The data have been analyzed descriptively after collection. Two kinds of data were obtained, namely qualitative and quantitative data. At the end of cycle (post-test) quantity data were obtained from the tests. Qualitative data were taken from observation sheets and surveys conducted during the treatment cycle. The researchers found in the preliminary study that the grammar achievement of the students was low. The researcher applied two cycles, in the first cycle showed that 62.5 % students got the average value above 70, while 37.5 % students got the average value below 70. Minimum completeness criteria in this subject were 75% students got 70 or more. While in the second cycle, the results of the research in cycle II were 83 % students got the average value above 70, while 17 % students got the average value below 70. The results of the research concluded that, the implementation of scramble game in teaching grammar could improve the students’ achievement.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses dan hasil pembelajaran menulis dengan menggunakan model Demonstrasi, Menggambar dan Peer Editing pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Parepare. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan pemaparan data deskriptif kualitatif dan data kuantitatif. Data kualitatif diperoleh dari lembar observasi dari setiap pelaksanaan tindakan (proses pembelajaran), dan data kuantitatif diperoleh dari tes akhir setiap siklus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII5 yang berjumlah 34 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata pada siklus I hanya 60 dan meningkat menjadi 78,5 pada siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang dilakukan terhadap hasil penelitian pada siklus I dan siklus II disimpulkan bahwa, pembelajaran menulis teks prosedur pada siswa kelas VIII5 SMP Negeri 1 Parepare dengan menggunakan model Demonstrasi, Menggambar dan Peer Editing dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pada proses pembelajaran dan hasil pembelajaran menulis teks prosedur.

Indonesian state is known by various tribes, races and traditions or cultural one of which is owned by the tribe kalindaqdaq Mandar.kalindaqdaq is an old literary work of the previous Mandar.Melihat rate is so rapid advance of technology and the influence of globalization that has spread widely in various regions, particularly in the State of Indonesia, which could affect the local culture in the community, and can cause fading or loss of those cultures. Thus this study aims to determine the meaning, function in society and what the values of the Islamic religion contained in the kalindaqdaq. This study uses a qualitative method and a phenomenological approach in collecting data using the method of observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study can be stated that kalindaqdaq is an expression of thoughts or feelings in the form of a sentence that is beautiful comes from within the chest that contains many meanings, phrases that discuss education in the form of advice, social, humorous form of entertainment, romance, and it comes to religion masi to this day. Kalindaqdaq serves as pappaingarang (reminder), pappepecawa (entertainer), and serves as a medium between people masyarakat.Naskah kalindaqdaq silaturrahmi contains the values of Islam which can certainly motivate people to practice their religion as practiced pillars of Islam, creed, prayer, alms, fasting and pilgrimage for those who can afford.

Da'wah delivered by the Holy Prophet, not only to the ahlul kitab, but to the plural society where he convey the religious message to the people in order to implement the Shari'ah of the religion correctly and responsibly following the guidance of the Qur'an and Hadith towards the creation of a peaceful, secure society , and affluent. The ongoing process makes every individual understand fully that dakwah is a duty with all responsibility and is accompanied by a consequence of obtaining God's approval. The nature of da'wah is not just to invite people to accept what a dai calls for, nor a person's intelligence in the pulpit or the ability to put ideas through writing. Moreover, da'wah is a horizontal relationship with each other that is interdependent. From here, there is another side that must be understood by those who carry out this missionary mandate, given that the duty and responsibility of a dai is a very big thing, let alone the activities of da'wah from time to time, from generation to generation, even from century to century, of course very varied, because will be found various challenges.

This article examines the social capacities that become the potential of every human being in relation to the development of his religious soul. Humans are known as religious beings, meaning that in a human way humans make statements, agreements to believe in God, and this is a religious potential that needs to be maintained by a healthy and religious environment. When socializing, every human being is in an environment whose behavior patterns have been formed, and face a norm system that is used as a basis for interaction. Therefore, religious souls need an environment that can direct it to the right direction for growth, that is, the awareness of religion according to what has been pledged while still in the mother's womb.

Currently, the problem of poverty is one of the social problems in Indonesia. Therefore, it needs a strategy to solve it. The purpose of this paper is to present an approach of Rumah Zakat aimed at mobilizing civil society in reducing the poverty gap. This study used the descriptive method and qualitative analysis. The data source was secondary data collected from documents and texts related to the topic, be it books, articles, newspapers, and journals. This study found the that socio-economic empowerment of Rumah Zakat had a role in providing social change in the communities where the contribution of the program’s productive implementation has an impact in reducing the depth severity of poverty in Indonesia. The provision of voluntary charity through empowering programs in Muslim civil society is needed to bring welfare to the communities

Sometimes, People with disabilities are underestimated by some people. Even though the government has made a law that contains the rights of persons with disabilities, as contained in Law Number 8 of 2016 about Persons with Disabilities. Islam is a religion of rahmatan lil’alamin, which has its meaning for persons with disabilities. It is implied from the sources of Islamic teachings in the form of the Qur’an and Hadith. Therefore, the existence of government regulations and religious teachings contained in the two sources of Islamic teachings regarding persons with disabilities can influence the attitude of the people in Parepare City to interact with disabilities. This research is field research with a qualitative approach. Data were obtained from interviews, observations, and documentation. Research informan consisted of students, the general public, persons with disabilities, employees of the Social Service Office of Parepare City, and employees of the Ministry of Religion of Parepare City. The study found that most people of Parepare city defined persons with disabilities as not physically limited. In addition, the community can practice ‘da’wah’ towards people with disabilities with quotes (lectures) and their responses and attitudes towards people with disabilities. As a result, the community can behave and walk according to Islamic religious guidance toward persons with disabilities. In addition, the community can also develop related policies for persons with disabilities.

This study aims to determine the meaning of Pappasang in the cultural communication of the local Mandar tribe and to find out the value of the local community pappasang in the artistic touch of the Mandar tribe. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The number of informants was three people were selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were obtained from questions to the informants, then analyzed and then made an abstraction of all the results of the interviews. The study results show that Pappasang has various meanings, such as Pap Pairs Puang_Allah Ta-Ala, Pappasang To Mawuwen, Paissangan, Pattirioloang and Pepasang, depending on the need. Pappasang of local communities in the Cultural Communication of the Mandar tribe, there is a determination of behaviour and values. Two Pap Pairs, first, determine the various types of Pap Pairs before the research is done. The value of Pap Pairs in the Kakkangan community pays attention to the criteria for exposure to information obtained from the Kakkangan community, which is the reference material for the emergence of the Pap Pair idea as cultural communication.
