Abstract

Fostered women are more vulnerable to psychological problems than fostered men. One psychological problem that is usually experienced by inmates is low self-esteem. one solution to improve self-esteem can be done through Islamic counseling services.The purpose of devotion-based research is to determine the effectiveness of Islamic counseling in increasing the self-esteem of the target people. The approach used in this research is Participatory Action Research. respondents involved in this study were all members of the Sigli Penitentiary Class III Prison Society. the results of the study found an increase in self-esteem in fostered citizens marked by the emergence of 5 of 7 aspects based on behavioral checklist indicators that are realistic, aware of strengths and weaknesses, aware of the position as a creature of God, assertive and independent.

Abstract

Belajar merupakan kewajiban bagi siswa, siswa sebagai subjek belajar di sekolah dituntut untuk memiliki pengelolaan waktu belajar yang baik dalam mengerjakan tugas yang diberikan guru sehingga membutuhkan pemanfaatan waktu secara baik, agar semua kegiatannya dapat berjalan dengan efektif dan efisien serta terhindar dari penundaan atau disebut prokrastinasi. Prokrastinasi akademik merupakan kebiasaan yang harus ditinggalkan dalam mencapai kesuksesan belajar. Akan tetapi yang banyak terjadi pada siswa yaitu menunda-nunda dalam mengerjakan tugas yang diberikan guru. Banyak hal yang menyebabkan siswa melakukan prokrastinasi dengan alasan, siswa berfikir masih banyak waktu untuk mengerjakan tugas, siswa tidak menyukai mata pelajaran tersebut sehingga malas dalam mengerjakan tugas yang diberikan. Kerugian yang dihasilkan dari perilaku prokrastinasi adalah tugas tidak terselesaikan, atau terselesaikan namun hasilnya tidak maksimal karena sudah deadline, sehingga menimbulkan kecemasan sepanjang waktu pengerjaan tugas, yang berakibat jumlah kesalahan cenderung tinggi karena individu mengerjakan dalam waktu yang sempit. Selain itu, siswa yang melakukan prokrastinasi akan sulit berkonsentrasi karena ada perasaan cemas, sehingga motivasi belajar menjadi rendah, tidak percaya diri, mengganggu pencapaian akademis, kecakapan untuk menguasai kelas, serta kualitas hidup. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan seorang konselor yang prfesional dan kompeten untuk memberikan layanan bimbingan dan konseling yang efektif kepada siswa yang mengalami masalah tersebut dan mengurangi prilaku prokrastinasi siswa. Banyak hal yang bisa dilakukan oleh guru BK/Konselor untuk siswa yang mengalami prokrastinasi yaitu dengan berbagai macam layanan bimbingan dan konseling.  Kata Kunci: Bimbingan dan Konseling, Prokrastinasi Akademik

Abstract

The purpose of this reaserch is to describe: (1) reinforcement teacher subjects accepted students, (2) the confidence of students, (3) the activeness of students in learning, , and (4) contribution the reinforcement subjects teachers and confidence individually or together to the activeness of students in learning. This research used quantitative approach and correlation method. The population of this reaserch were 619 students of SMA Pertiwi 1 Padang in the class X and XI. The sampel were 243 students than were chosen by using propotional stratafied random sampling. The instruments used Scale of Activeness Students in Learning with reliability 0,922, the Scale of Reinforcement Teacher with reliability 0,865, and Scale of Self Confidence with reliability 0,915  Likert model. Research data were analyzed using simple regression and regression. The results of this research show that on average: (1) the level of reinforcement teacher subjects were on the category either, (2) the level of the students’s confidence are in the category of middle, (3) the level of activeness students are on a high category, (4) reinforcement teacher subjects contribute significantly to the activeness of the students in learning of 15.6%, confidence contributes significantly to the activenes of the students in learning of 17,9%, and reinforcement teachers subjects and confidence collectively contribute significantly the activiveness student in learning of 25,4%. The implications of the research can be used as input to steer  counsellors in providing guidance and counselling services.

Abstract

The goal of all learning efforts is for students to learn. In learning, students are subjects who are actively learning. Student success in learning is influenced by the quality of the student's activity. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of student activity in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic from the aspects of visual activity, oral activity, listening activity, writing activity, emotional activity,and mental activity.This research Uses a descriptive quantitative approach. Data collection was carried out at two locations, namely the Vocational High School (SMK) and State Madrasah Aliyah (MAN) of 144 students. The instrument used to collect the data was a Scale of Students Active by Zamratul Aini, and questionnaires are distributed online through the Google Forms application. The results showed that in general the activeness of students in the online learning process was in the high category. The results of the research can be used as input for the counselor in planning, designing, implementing, and evaluating guidance and counseling programs according to the analysis of student needs. Besides, it can also serve as input for the Principal to provide support to implementers of guidance and counseling service activities. In its implementation, counselors need to collaborate with various parties, both school personnel and other parties outside the school, so that the success of these guidance and counseling services can be achieved optimally.

Abstract

With its human resources potential, companies in Indonesia have a challenge managing human resources, especially the millennial generation. Increasing corporate growth and development in Indonesia has a positive impact on society with increased employment opportunities, which will reduce the unemployment rate. One of the efforts to retain employees is that the company should pay attention to the career development of each employee, especially for millennial generation employees who have good performance. There are some issues in the process of career development in the company that are the subject of research, such as the millenial generation employee who cannot develop his career at the company where he works, while the employees feel they have done their job well. Research methods in this research are e-learning methods and interviews, as well as providing questionnaires to research subjects. The research subject in this study is a millennial generation employee at Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI). Learning is both a strategy and a solution for an organization or company, as well as for an individual, to adapt and take effective action to create a competitive advantage.

Abstract

As globalization affects national development, it correlates with an increased demand for women's active role in the economic sector. These dual roles, as professionals and as mothers or wives, create dilemmas in the family context. This study aims to conduct an in-depth analysis of the role of career women in parenting patterns. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observation and interviews and analyzed using triangulation methods. This research comparatively explores the social situation between family and society. The results showed that career women can guarantee a better future for their children through better access to education. However, there are shortcomings in aspects of children's character development, particularly in communication skills and openness to information. Career women also tend to rely on childcare services. In contrast, women who are housewives are not always able to be closely involved with their children. Especially for women who are not mentally ready for marriage, they tend to be less productive.   Abstrak Globalisasi mempengaruhi pembangunan nasional yang berkorelasi dengan peningkatan tuntutan peran aktif perempuan dalam aspek ekonomi. Peran ganda ini, sebagai profesional dan sebagai ibu atau istri, menciptakan dilema dalam konteks keluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis mendalam tentang peran wanita karir dalam pola pengasuhan anak. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan wawancara dan dianalisis menggunakan metode triangulasi. Penelitian ini secara komparatif mengeksplorasi situasi sosial antara keluarga dan masyarakat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa wanita karir dapat memberikan jaminan masa depan yang lebih baik untuk anak-anak mereka melalui akses pendidikan yang lebih baik. Namun, terdapat kekurangan dalam aspek perkembangan karakter anak, khususnya dalam keterampilan berkomunikasi dan keterbukaan terhadap informasi. Wanita karir juga cenderung mengandalkan layanan penitipan anak. Sebaliknya, wanita yang berstatus sebagai ibu rumah tangga tidak selalu dapat terlibat erat dengan anak-anak mereka. Terutama bagi perempuan yang mentalnya belum siap untuk menikah, mereka cenderung menjadi kurang produktif.
