Abstract

Nosocomial infections were infections that occurred in the hospital environment. A person was said to have a nosocomial infection if the infection occurred while undergoing treatment in the hospital. Nosocomial infections could occur in patients, nurses, doctors, and hospital workers or visitors. To prevent nosocomial infections, namely stopping the transmission method by increasing staff compliance and equipment maintenance procedures, decontamination, cleaning, and sterilization of the tools used, or high-level disinfection had to be considered before the equipment was used to carry out maintenance actions. If a nosocomial infection occurred, it impacted the length of treatment days due to comorbidities during hospitalization. Nosocomial infections had to be avoided and prevented in patient care in hospitals with a target of zero cases, one of the efforts was through staff compliance. Considering the risk of nosocomial infections, a compliance review of care workers was carried out. This study aimed to analyze compliance with the prevention and control of nosocomial infections in one hospital in West Nusa Tenggara Province. The method in this research was quantitative survey research with a cross-sectional approach. The research population was all nurses who worked in inpatient treatment rooms. By using a simple random sampling technique, a large sample of 50 nurses was obtained in this study. Chi-Square and Logistic Regression analysis were conducted using SPSS. The research results showed that there was a significant relationship between the factors education, knowledge, supervision, infrastructure, and management support on officer compliance. The dominant factor was found in the availability of infrastructure.

Abstract

The complex challenges in these environments demand extraordinary skill and resilience from nurses. This research aims to explore the influence of resilience on the performance of nurses at Mutiara Sukma Psychiatric hospital. The research method used a quantitative approach with a sample size of 110 nurses. Sampling was carried out using the Slovin formula and quota sampling technique. Data on nurses' resilience and performance were collected through questionnaires whose validity and reliability were tested. Data analysis involves inferential statistical techniques, such as independent t tests and simple linear regression. The independent t test was used to compare the average performance between low and high resilience groups, while simple linear regression was used to assess the linear relationship between resilience (independent variable) and performance (dependent variable). Data was processed using the SPSS program. The results of data analysis show that nurses with a high level of resilience tend to have better performance. Independent t tests revealed significant differences in performance between the low and high resilience groups. In addition, simple linear regression shows that resilience has a positive effect on nurse performance. The practical implications of this research provide a basis for developing training and support programs to increase nurse resilience, with the aim of improving service quality. This research provides an in-depth understanding of individual psychological relationships with a direct impact on mental health services. Despite these limitations, these findings have significant relevance for human resource management in hospitals and can serve as a basis for future research.

Abstract

Perimenopause is a natural transition in a woman's life that usually occurs several years before menopause. During perimenopause, the body undergoes major hormonal changes, including decreased production of reproductive hormones such as estrogen and progesterone. This stage is very difficult for perimenopausal mothers to experience because of physical changes that affect a person's appearance, body functions, and psychology. One solution to reduce anxiety levels is to use the dhikr relaxation therapy method. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of dhikr relaxation therapy on anxiety levels in perimenopausal mothers. The method used in this study was a pre-experimental design with one group pre-test-post-test. Simple random sampling technique was used as a sampling technique and obtained 80 respondents. The results of this study analysis showed a change after 7 days of dhikr relaxation therapy reaching Sig (2-tailed) = 0.000 which means that anxiety levels decreased significantly after the intervention. dhikr relaxation therapy. Conclusion: Dhikr therapy can reduce stressors and anxiety in perimenopause.

Abstract

The National Health Insurance or JKN, which was launched on January 1 2014, is intended to increase public access to comprehensive and quality health services, so as to achieve universal health coverage (UHC). Effective promotive-preventive efforts will reduce the incidence of disease and have an impact on reducing the number of sick people and the number of people seeking treatment so that health financing is more efficient. Family planning (KB) services are part of promotive-preventive efforts. In the management of program contraceptive devices provided by the government in the last 3 years, various problems were still encountered, including shortages of contraceptive devices (stock out), accumulation of Alkon in storage warehouses, and Alkon distribution mechanisms that were not smooth. The research was conducted using a descriptive quantitative approach. Research location in East Lombok Regency taking into account the high vacancy of Alkon (Data F/II/KB online). Then, 31 First Level Health Facilities (FKTP) were taken, namely Community Health Centers, Doctor's Practices, Pratama Clinics and Type D Pratama Hospitals. The research was carried out for 6 months, namely May-October 2017. The results of the research show that in general the management of Alkon in the OPD-KB of East Lombok Regency has complied with technical instructions, but there are several mechanisms for providing, storing, distributing, recording and reporting as well as Alkon monitoring and evaluation requires clear and written Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) that refer to technical manuals, and are spread throughout the OPD-KB, UPT-KB, Health Faskes and Network areas, so that the management of the mechanism runs uniformly.

Abstract

Background: Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a significant global health issue that has escalated, leading to serious implications for public health. This disease not only increases the risk of long-term health complications but also has a considerable economic impact due to treatment costs and lost productivity. The research findings can inform the development of targeted health policy recommendations and more effective prevention programs. Purpose: To describe gender, age, and body weight of diabetes mellitus among patients visiting community health centers in West Nusa Tenggara. Method: A descriptive study design conducted at several community health centers across the province to reflect geographic and demographic diversity and ensure the results represent actual community conditions. The study population included all patients diagnosed with diabetes mellitus at these centers. Data collection involved patient medical records, which provided demographic information such as age and gender, medical history, and laboratory data related to diabetes mellitus. Results: The age group 57-66 is identified as the most vulnerable, making up 38.19% of the total diabetes patient population. The 47-56 age group also shows a significant risk, with lower risks observed in the 37-46 and 67-76 age groups. Notably, there are no diabetes patients in the 77-86 and 87-96 age groups, indicating a lower risk for these ages. Gender analysis reveals that females are at a higher risk, comprising 75.88% of the diabetes patient population, while males account for only 24.12%. In terms of body weight, individuals in the 50-59 and 60-69 kg weight groups are at high risk, representing 64.82% and 35.18%, respectively, of the total diabetes patients. These findings suggest that individuals weighing over 50 kg have a higher risk of developing diabetes. Conclusion: The age range of 57-66 is the most vulnerable group to diabetes, with the highest number of patients. Among this group, females tend to be more susceptible to diabetes, especially those with a body weight above 50 kg.

Purpose: To determine Blood Sugar fluctuations in Diabetes Mellitus Type-2 (DMT2) to improve knowledge, positive attitudes, and healthy behaviors to achieve optimal blood sugar control. Method: Quantitative observational analytical research with Cross Sectional design. The population is 349 people with a sample of 186 respondents which is determined by simple random side. Data collection uses interview guidelines/questionnaires that have been tested for validity and reliability. Bivariate data analysis used Chi Square and Multivariate analysis  multiple logistic regression. Results: P value of knowledge 0.000 < 0.05, had a significant effect. The p-value of attitude was 0.002 < 0.05, Positive attitude had a significant effect on stabilizing blood sugar. An optimistic, confident, and highly motivated attitude is important to control diabetes. The  behavioral p value of 0.003 < 0.05 had a stabilizing effect on blood sugar.
