Abstract

In the context of multiculturalism, education must reward the reality of plurality. Multicultural education is truly felt to have a very important space to be presented in the world of education as a solution to the appreciation of the plurality of Indonesian society. Performing arts and culture is one of the concrete steps to teach students as prospective teachers to be able to recognize the various characteristics of Maluku society as a multicultural society. This study used a qualitative method and was conducted on students of the historical education study program at the Faculty of Education and Teacher Training at Pattimura University. Data collection using observation techniques, interviews and questionnaires. The results of the study show that through art and cultural performance activities that are packaged in multicultural education learning clarify the characteristics of Maluku as a multicultural society, increase students' knowledge to appreciate the plurality of Maluku as a multicultural society, increase student awareness to be part of the people of Maluku, Indonesia and the World in maintaining world peace as well as providing hope to students in building the spirit of life of orang Basudara in Maluku.

Abstract

Implementasi ESD dalam berbagai perkembangannya dibagi menjadi beberapa kategori. Pertama, implementasi dalam bidang pendidikan formal. Kedua dalam bidang komunitas. Fokus pelaksanaan kegiatan ini ditujukan dalam bidang pendidikan formal. Penerapan ESD dalam bidang ini ditujukan pada institusi pendidikan, seperti sekolah untuk melakukan edukasi kepada para peserta didik dan juga guru terkait dengan persoalan dan tantangan pendidikan untuk pembangunan yang berkelanjutan. Permasalahan yang ditemukan saat studi pendahuluan di SMP mitra adalah kurangnya kesadaran terhadap lingkungan sekolah dengan masih banyak ditemui lahan kosong yang tidak dioptimalkan juga daerah sekolah yang dekat dengan pantai mengalami tingkat abrasi yang signifikan padahal sekolah SMP Negeri 8 Ambon sejak tahun 2018 sudah ditetapkan sebagai sekolah ramah anak dan di tahun 2021 dinobatkan menjadi sekolah pantai Indonesia. Tentu hal ini menjadi permasalahan utama bagi sekolah. Metode dalam penelitian ini dimulai dari tahap sosialisasi, pendampingan dan desain perangkat kurikulum berbasis EDS, Implementasi dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini menunjukan bahwa setelah peserta mengikuti proses sosialisasi, selanjutnya pendampingan perangkat dan implementasi menunjukan Prinsip Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) melalui Ecopedagogi membantu pihak sekolah (guru) dalam mengembangkan perangkat kurikulum (RPP) yang dekat dengan siswa serta dapat membantu siswa mampu berfikir kritis untuk membuat keputusan. Guru 100% sangat senang dengan pembelajaran berbasis lingkungan ini karena dapat membatu pihak sekolah yang saat ini dinobatkan menjadi salah satu sekolah pantai nasional di Indonesia. Kata Kunci: Education for sustainable development, Ekopedagogi, SMP Negeri 8 Ambon.

Abstract

This research is actually intended to develop a learning media for comics on historical heritage sites in the Historical Tourism course in the History Education Study Program. This course studies the theory and practice of historical heritage sites in Maluku, how students should be able to become historical tour guides through this course. With the ADDIE learning design model starting from the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. This study uses research and development methods that are used to produce certain products and test the effectiveness of these products. The location in this research is the History Education Study Program, FKIP UNPATTI, with data collection techniques, using instruments in the form of knowledge test sheets, and interviews. The results of this study indicate an increase in student learning outcomes as well as awareness in preserving God-given nature for the sustainability of the Maluku generation where there is a significant difference in the cognitive scores of learning media at historical heritage sites on the island of Ambon before and after the application of media from the acquisition of the t-count value. of -29.859 with a sig-tailed of 0.00, because 0.00 < from 0.05.

Abstract

This study aimed to revea l the information about educational of Nuaulu clan communities in Ceram Island, Central Maluku regency which still hold their high socio-cultural value. How do they pass, teach and construct all socio-cultural value to their next generation in order they can still maintain what they have so it can grew together one another in peace and harmony? To answer these questions, the researcher needed to explore more detail in understanding about Nuaulu clan in socio-cultural educational in their family and environment around them. Research metodologi used in this research was qualitative research by using study cases appropriate. Based on the analysis of issue, the researcher stateted the key informants were selected by purposive with snowball sampling based on the consideration of the fasibility and research purposes, namely the case of the five family of Nuaulu clan which have a central role in the lives of community of Nuaulu clan. While the supporting informants were those who consider worthy of giving information related to the research objectives. Based on the result of the data, Education and Socio-cultural Value (ESDV) with in the families and the rest of Nuaulu society had been done through ritual of traditional ceremony as signed to meet and individual growth in their live especially since pregnancy (9 months), birth, adult (women and men) and marriage as well as their characteristic of the seven elements of culture. The result of this research shown that there were several meaningful traditional ceremonies and characteristics Nuaulu clan. The great value was relefan, integrative and contributive to the socio-cultural value of education, so it needs to be developed.

Abstract

Makan Patita is a tradition of communal feasting or eating together among Maluku communities that practiced in festivity the Panas Pela, Panas Gandong, King coronation, building Baileo house, the celebration of city`s anniversary day, and other events in Ambon city. However, for the people of Negeri Oma in Haruku Island, the tradition of Makan Patita differs from others. The differences are attracted to be discussed about the ceremonial procession and its meaning of the tradition of Makan Patita in Negeri Oma. This research aims to describe the ceremonial process and its meaning of the Makan Patita Soa practiced in Negeri Oma, Haruku Island District, Central Maluku Regency, Maluku Province, Indonesia. This is a qualitative research where the data source obtained purposively and the data collection techniques by using observation, interview, and documentation. The results showed that: 1) Makan Patita in Negeri Oma is divided into two types; first, the uncle feeds his nephew/child (Mara/Marei), and also the nephew/child feeds his uncle (ana kas makang om). There are three stages in the practice of Makan Patita tradition; the initial stage, a time-set meeting, and preparation of various things, both food and a long white table and the prayers of struggle in Baileo Kotayasa by the Bapa Lima-Lima. In the second stage, the Makan Patita begins with Cakelele dances and the ceremonial procession takes children to the Patita dining table, then the uncles feed their nephews. In the final stage, each remaining food must be brought back and eaten by all children at home, then covered with a Eucharistic prayer for the Soa and Maradansa. 2) The meaning of Makan Patita tradition for the people in Negeri Oma is kinship ties, respect, and appreciation for elders (uncles) and it contains the symbolic meaning of hope to the children in the Soa will become a good generation and remain in the fellowship of siblings.

Abstract

Soa is a combination of several genealogically territorial eyes of the house. Each Soa usually has a symbol in the form of Totem, which is the identity of each Soa. Soa is still maintained until now. Even every symbol or Totem is still present in implementing traditional ceremonies. This study aimed to discover Soa and its role based on Totem in Negeri Hutumuri, South Leitimur Sub-district, Ambon City. This research is qualitative. The data source was obtained by purposive sampling. The Soa heads and traditional elders were used as informants. Data collection techniques through interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The results of the study show: 1) Soa in the life of the people of Negeri Hutumuri consists of 5 Soa, namely Soa Pattihutung, Soa Mokihutung, Soa Tutupasar, Soa Lapaut, and Soa Puasel. 2) The role of each Soa is based on the Totem: 1. Soa Pattihutung, with the symbol of the Soa pigeon is role as an honest leader in leadership (King); 2. Soa Mokihutung symbolizes the Soa Mangole bird in charge of maintaining maritime security (Kewang sea/marine police). 3. Soa Tutupasar with the symbol of Soa, namely Soa-Soa, in charge of maintaining forest security (Kewang land/forest police). 4. Soa Lapaut, with the symbol of the Soa snake, is in charge of maintaining security and order (police/soldiers). 5. Soa Puasel, with the symbol of the Soa frog maintaining the cleanliness of water and art in the Negeri Hutumuri.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal information about Sasi, which in fact has the principle of sustainability and balance of the relationship between humans and nature as well as humans and their creators, of course, in line with the concept of sustainable living. What makes this research unique is that it specifically supports a sustainable community economy. To find out how sasi supports the economic sustainability of the Saparua people, an in-depth study using qualitative research is needed. Interviews and observations are the methods used to collect data. After that, an interactive analysis was carried out. The results show that sasi can be implemented as a quality management of quality and economically valuable biological and vegetable natural resources products. In actual fact, sasi really helps every proponent of the economy, such as the selling price of natural resources of sasi is more profitable, because the harvest is abundant in quantity and has a higher selling value because of its quality

Abstract

Kebudayaan dan eksistensinya dapat dilihat dalam komunitas masyarakat adat yang ada di Indonesia pada umumnya dan lebih khusus desa-desa adat di Maluku, yang sampai saat ini masih kuat berpegang dan mempraktekkan tata aturan adat dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat, salah satunya upacara perkawinan. Jenis perkawinan adat yang menarik dan masih dilaksanakan sampai saat ini di Negeri Haruru yaitu sou lavite (sarong baju). Masalah dalam penulisan ini adalah bagaimana pelaksanaan tradisi sou lavite? Makna apa yang terkandung dari pelaksanaan tradisi Sou Lavite? dan nilai apa yang terkandung dari pelaksanaan tradisi sou lavite?. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu studi kepustakaan, observasi dan wawancara. Analisis data dimulai dari pengumpulan data dan dilanjutkan dengan reduksi data, sajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tradisi sou lavite dalam prosesnya dibagi dalam tiga tahapan penting yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap ahkir. Tahap persiapan dibagi dalam dua proses penting yaitu nok dan atiting. Pada bagian tahap pelaksanaan proses yang dilakukan yaitu sopa adat, sarong pakiang, so siuna dan lesa sou lavite. Tahap akhir dari pelaksanaan tradisi sou lavite yaitu doa dan penyerahan baju hitam ke saudara perempuan dari mempelai laki-laki. Makna yang terkadung dari pelaksanaan tradisi sou lavite yaitu: (1) makna nok yaitu ada rasa saling menghargai orang sudara, (2) makna atiting yaitu berat sama dipikul ringan sama dijinjing, (3) makna mutua wailui yaitu tanggung jawab yang diberikan harus dilakukan dengan baik, (4) makna so siuna yaitu perempuan diberikan tanggung jawab besar untuk menjabu kerabat mempelai laki-laki dengan tulus, dan (5) makna lesa sou lavite yaitu meja persekutuan yang mengikat hubungan kekeluargaan. Nilai yang terkandung dari pelaksanaan tradisi sou lavite yaitu: (1) nilai kekeluargaan, (2) nilai kasih saying, (3) nilai menyatukan, (4) nilai menuntun dan menopang, (5) nilai menghargai, dan (6) nilai cinta kasih.

Abstract

Budaya tarian adat adalah sebuah keidahan ekspresi melalui gerakan dan nyayian-nyayian daearah, diperkarsai dengan nilai-nilai leluhur/nenek moyong. Salah satu tarian adat itu adalah Tari Waur yang dipentaskan saat Upacara Adat di Negeri Ondor yang berada di Kecamatan Pulau Gorom Kabupaten Seram Bagian Timur. Latar belakang Tari Waur dalam proses Upacara Adat Negeri Ondor merupakan suatu tarian yang sudah ada semejak Negeri Ondor masih berbentuk kerajaan. Masalah dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejarah Tari Waur di Negeri Ondor, Pelaksanaan Tari Waur di Negeri Ondor dan Makna yang terkandung dalam Tari Waur dengan demikian tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui tentang sejarah Tari Waur serta proses pelaksanaan Tari Waur dan makna dari Tari Waur di Negeri Ondor Kecematan Pulau Gorom Kabupaten Seram Bagian Timur. Metode yang digunakan dalam Penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian Kualitatif dengan pendekaan deskripsi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Tari Waur dalam proses upacara adat Negeri Ondor merupakan sebuah tarian yang menceritakan tentang perjalanan Raja Ondor yang turun dari Gunung Gia ke pesisir Pantai Namalua. Proses pelaksanaan Tari Waur hanya bisa dilakukan atas persetujuan Raja Negeri Ondor dan dilakukan pada saat upacara-upacara adat yang berkaitan dengan Raja Negeri Ondor seperti pelantikan Raja Negeri Ondor dan Pernikahan Keturunan Raja Negeri Ondor. Makna dari Tari Waur adalah untuk menghimpun semua Soa Soa - dan hasil alam dan turun dengan perahu kotimau kepesisir pantai Namalua.

Abstract

The problem in this research is how is the history and the existence of the music of yangere in tobaol village? What is the Tobaol community’s perception of yangere’s music? And what values are contained in yanger music?. The method used in this research is qualitative method. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The process of collecting data trough observation, interviews and document studies. Data analysis techniques use 4 important components, namely data collection, data presentation and conclusions or verification. The development of traditional music from the past until now is certainly very different because of the times so that the younger generation prefers modern music compared to traditional music. But until now this music is still maintained and preserved to the next generation. Tobaol poeple’s perception of yangere music in every circle has their own views. The values contained in yangere music are 1)the value of beauty, 2)the value of brotherhood, 3)the value of harmonization dan 4) the value religious.
