Abstract

This study aims to examine the history of Islamic education during the time of Prophet Muhammad SAW, which became the main foundation in the development of science and education in Islamic civilization. The specific purpose of this research is to understand the vision, mission, goals, curriculum, educational methods, facilities and infrastructure, and education financing at that time. The research method used is a literature study with qualitative descriptive analysis. Data were collected from a variety of reliable literary sources, including books, scholarly articles, and works by historians of Islamic education. The results showed that education during the time of the Prophet Muhammad SAW had a vision to produce a generation of believers, noble morals, and mastering science. The mission of education includes the dissemination of Islamic teachings, moral formation, and the intelligence of the people. The purpose of education includes the formation of people who have faith, noble character and are capable in social life. The educational curriculum focuses on teaching the Quran, hadith, morals, Arabic, history, and life skills. The educational methods used include lectures, questions and answers, discussions, parables, and examples. Educational facilities and infrastructure include mosques as educational centers, kuttab to learn to read and write, suffah as dormitories to explore religious knowledge, and stationery. Education financing comes from zakat, infaq, sadaqah, ghanimah, and donations from wealthy friends, which are managed transparently and responsibly. This research provides insight into how Islamic education during the time of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was developed and became an inspiration for the Islamic education system in the present and future.

Abstract

This article aims to explore the challenges faced by Islamic education in the context of an ever-changing contemporary society. By highlighting the transition from tradition towards the future, this article identifies the main obstacles encountered by the Islamic education system and explores innovative efforts to overcome these challenges. The research method employs a qualitative approach, specifically library research, to analyze various relevant literature sources. The discussion results show that Islamic education faces various issues, ranging from conceptual-theoretical to operational-practical aspects. However, by integrating traditional values with modern advancements, Islamic education can remain relevant and make a significant contribution to shaping a generation that is strong in faith and ready to face the dynamics of changing times. The utilization of technology in learning, the development of ethics and empathy through character education, and the integration of Islamic values in a contemporary context are some practical efforts identified as innovative solutions. The main contribution of this article is the emphasis on the importance of renewing Islamic education to remain relevant in addressing the social, technological, and value changes in contemporary society.

Abstract

Islamic education has a crucial role in shaping the character and morals of the younger generation, but needs transformation through the reactualization of theology to be relevant to the challenges of modern times. This research uses a qualitative method with library research that examines literature related to Islamic education curriculum, theological values, and technology integration in learning. The findings show that an in-depth evaluation of the existing curriculum is a crucial first step. Curriculum development that combines Islamic theological values with practical learning relevant to modern life is needed. In addition, training and professional development for teachers, as well as the use of educational technology, were identified as important factors in supporting the implementation of the new curriculum. The findings also emphasize the importance of involving the education community, parents and other stakeholders to ensure the success of this transformation. This research shows that the reactualization of theology in Islamic education not only enriches academic content but also shapes learners' character and morals. The findings have significant implications for policymakers and educational practitioners in designing educational programs that are able to form a generation that is ready to face the challenges of the times by adhering to Islamic values.

Abstract

Education is the main key to unlocking human potential and abilities in living life. To achieve educational goals, various factors need to be considered, including the provision of complete facilities and infrastructure. Effective management of facilities and infrastructure in schools is very important for the smooth teaching and learning process. Management planning for Islamic education facilities and infrastructure is an important part in realizing quality Islamic education. Careful and focused planning will have an impact on the effectiveness and efficiency of utilizing Islamic education facilities and infrastructure, so that in the end the goals of Islamic education can be achieved. The principles are important guidelines in Islamic education facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

Guidance and Counseling (BK) management in Islamic Education plays a crucial role in guiding students to achieve educational goals that are in line with Islamic values. This abstract explores the strategy of implementing guidance and counseling management in Islamic education, which includes the development of Islamic guidance and counseling curriculum and programs as well as the competence of guidance and counseling teachers. In addition, it also discusses the application of counseling management functions in Islam, including the application of management functions in the process of implementing Islamic counseling and counseling management functions in general.

Abstract

Management is a set of activities or processes of managing the use of resources, in order to achieve the main predetermined goals by using people in a cooperative relationship. Islamic education management consists of three words, namely management, education, and Islam. Although this study is not explicitly described in the Qur'an, However, there are some cues that show how important the selection of educational environment is. Learner management is an integral part of modern educational management. This covers various important aspects in the management of students, from planning to evaluation, then the approach in Islamic management, the right approach will certainly lead to the right expectations and goals, among others with the student management approach, namely: 1. The quantitative approach, 2. The qualitative approach. 3. Integrated Approach. In general, student management aims to organize various activities in the field of student affairs so that learning activities in schools are carried out smoothly, orderly and regularly, as well as the achievement of educational goals in schools.

Abstract

Budaya organisasi sebagai perekat sosial, dan berguna pula sebagai mekanisme kontrol yang membentuk perilaku anggota. Budaya organisasi merupakan nilai, kepercayaan bersama para anggota organisasi. Budaya organisasi akan memberikan dampak positif pada kinerja institusi secara umum, budaya organisasi akan mengarahkan perilaku para anggota organisasi. Dalam lembaga pendidikan Islam, budaya organisasi dalam pendidikan islam terus bertujuan untuk mengejawantahkan ajaran dan nilai-nilai Islam yang pada akhirnya akan menjadi budaya Islami.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan dalam manajemen merupakan konsep yang sangat penting dalam mencapai kesuksesan organisasi. Kepemimpinan melibatkan kemampuan seseorang untuk mempengaruhi, mengarahkan, dan menginspirasi orang lain untuk mencapai tujuan bersama. Dalam konteks manajemen, kepemimpinan berperan sebagai faktor kunci yang memengaruhi kinerja individu, kelompok, dan organisasi secara keseluruhan. Kepemimpinan dalam manajemen melibatkan berbagai aspek, termasuk pengambilan keputusan, komunikasi efektif, motivasi, pengembangan tim, dan pengelolaan konflik. Seorang pemimpin yang efektif memiliki kemampuan untuk mengartikulasikan visi dan misi organisasi, serta merumuskan strategi yang tepat untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut. Mereka juga mampu menginspirasi dan memotivasi anggota tim, mendorong mereka untuk memberikan yang terbaik dan mengembangkan potensi mereka. Selain itu, kepemimpinan dalam manajemen juga melibatkan kemampuan untuk mengelola perubahan.

Abstract

Pendidikan islam memegang peranan penting dalam membentuk generasi penerus bangsa yang berakhlak mulia dan berpengetahuan. Untuk mewujudkan tujuan mulia tersebut, lembaga pendidikan memerlukan pembiayaan untuk keberlanjutan manajemen pendidikan islam. Untuk itu, memerlukan strategi manajemen pembiayaan yang efektif untuk memastikan keberlangsungan pendidikan islam. Salah satu aspek kunci dari strategi pengelolaan keuangan yang efektif adalah penyusunan anggaran tahunan yang realistis yang mencakup seluruh kebutuhan operasional Lembaga. Pertama, diversifikasi sumber pembiayaan, yang meliputi dana pemerintah, zakat, wakaf, infak, sedekah, dan sumber lain. Kedua, pengelolaan keuangan yang transparan dengan menerapkan sistem pembukuan yang rapi dan terstruktur. Ketiga, meningkatkan efisiensi penggunaan dana dan memanfaatkan dana untuk tujuan pendidikan. Keempat, profitabilitas operasional hal ini dapat dilakukan melalui teknologi dan inovasi dalam pembelajaran dan kerja institusi. Kelima, pengembangan personel lembaga pendidikan islam harus meningkatkan keterampilan staf melalui pelatihan dan pengembangan yang berkelanjutan. Keenam, evaluasi dan perbaikan berkelanjutan terhadap strategi pengelolaan keuangan lembaga harus melakukan pemantauan dan evaluasi secara berkala, mengidentifikasi peluang dan tantangan serta melakukan perubahan dan perbaikan yang diperlukan. Dengan menerapkan strategi pengelolaan keuangan yang efektif yang mencakup aspek-aspek tersebut, dapat dipastikan bahwa lembaga memiliki sumber daya keuangan yang memadai dan dikelola dengan baik sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip Syariah. Hal ini mendukung keberlangsungan kegiatan lembaga dan menjamin kualitas pendidikan Islam juga bagi generasi mendatang.

Abstract

Learning loss merupakan keadaan menurunnya kemampuan akademik peserta didik, dimana peserta didik kehilangan pengetahuan dan keterampilan baik secara umum atau khusus. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis upaya mengatasi learning loss pembelajaran baca tulis anak-anak asli Papua di Rumah Belajar KBLC Jayapura. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif menggunakan data sekunder yang diambil dari berbagai sumber, dan lokasi penelitian di Rumah Belajar KBLC Jayapura. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa upaya mengatasi learning loss pembelajaran baca tulis pada anak-anak asli Papua di Rumah Belajar KBLC Jayapura melalui; 1) Tes diagnosis pada anak-anak asli Papua yang akan mendaftar sebagai peserta didik di Rumah Belajar KBLC Jayapura, tes dilakukan untuk mengelompokkan peserta didik berdasarkan kemampuannya masing-masing, 2) Merancang pembelajaran yang bervariasi, setiap guru yang akan mengajar membuat lesson plan sebagai persiapan mengajar dengan berbagai metode variatif, seperti penggunaan metode games dan bermain kartu dengan pengucapan volume tinggi (membuka mulut dan bersuara lantang), hal ini dilakukan agar peserta didik merasa belajar rasa bermain atau bermain sambil belajar, sehingga mereka enjoy dan senang dalam belajar, 3) Menggunakan pendekatan yang baik, seperti penggunaan WhatsApp sebagai media pendukung upaya pendekatan guru kepada peserta didik dalam membangun komunikasi yang baik , dan 4) Evaluasi berkelanjutan.
