Abstract

The Dangau Datuk Bengkulu Agribusiness Vocational Middle School has practicum facilities for cultivating various types of vegetables, one of which is tomatoes, which are sold directly at outlets provided to meet the daily needs of students. However, the characteristics of agricultural products are not durable, perishable, and rotten if they are not immediately sold. This problem has attracted the interest of proposers to help introduce value added analysis through processing tomatoes into tomato sauce which of course can lasta long time, have added value and high selling value. Students and some teachers have received value-added introduction training through sauce processing, operational management, training on determining the cost ofgoods sold (HPP). The ratio of added value from processing tomatoes into tomato sauce is obtained by 40% and the added value is obtained by subtracting the output value from other input prices and the raw materialprice of Rp. 6,666.67, meaning that every 1 kg of tomatoes costs Rp. creating added value of Rp. 6,666.67, - per Kg after being processed into tomato sauce.

Abstract

Rejang Lebong Regency is the producer center of robusta coffee in Bengkulu, the production continues to increase. Robusta coffee marketing in Rejang Regency is generally interesting because most of the sales objectives of robusta coffee from farmers are to coffee processing companies, both inside and outside the province. It’s suspected that there are variations in the production of robusta coffee in Rejang Lebong Regency, so that robusta coffee business actors have different marketing channels according to the limited supply they have. Based on the results of the research on 37 people who were selected by purposive sampling and through the Food Supply Chain Network (FSCN) approach, the robusta coffee supply chain conditions were running smoothly. This can be seen from the integration or cooperation between supply chain actors that have been established, especially with the coffee processing industry. There are 3 marketing channels for Robusta coffee in Rejang Lebong Regency and can assess the performance of its supply chain. Through the analysis of the marketing margin and the farmer's share shows that the Robusta coffee supply chain on channel 3 is more efficient than channel 1 and channel 2 because it has the lowest margin and the highest share of farmers.

Abstract

The application of Smart Farming RITX Soil & Weather Sensor technology in Garut is intended to increase agricultural potential. In 2020, farmers still have difficulty using sensor tools by 95%. The percentage of farmer skills is 88.75% that farmers never decide the harvest period based on the results of monitoring weather conditions on a smartphone. Based on this, it is necessary to study the strategy for applying this research method to collect data purposively from 48 farmers, 14 experts namely; 2 academics, 10 agricultural extension workers and 2 community leaders. (S1, S2, S3, S6, T2), adding training by inviting technology/android-savvy farmer assistants (children/family) and recommending the right provider for the area of ??technology application. (S5, T1, T2 , T3, T5, T7, T8), assistance by experts is carried out from introduction, implementation, repair/detection of damage to obtaining good quantity and quality (S4, S6, T1, T5, T6, T7, T8).

Abstract

The agricultural sector plays an important role in food sovereignty. In Indonesia, the conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural land is rife, while in Mukomuko Regency there has been a change of function from plantation land to rice fields. This supports the district's vision and mission regarding food sovereignty. The purpose of this study was to analyze and formulate a strategy for developing land conversion from oil palm to lowland rice. This study was analyzed using descriptive and quantitative methods using SWOT analysis. The results showed that the decrease in the value of internal factors obtained a greater value of strength (S) (+). From the reduction of external factors, the opportunity value (O) is also greater (+). So that the right strategy to be used in increasing the conversion of oil palm agricultural land into lowland rice in Mukomuko Regency, Bengkulu Province is the following strategy (SO); increasing the conversion of land to lowland rice, increasing marketing to areas that do not have the potential for lowland rice, utilizing and increasing the use of technology to increase productivity and efficiency after land conversion, increasing farmer group activities and continuing to coordinate with the government (extension) regarding obstacles faced such as simultaneous planting , pests and so on.
