Abstract

This research examines the impact of capacity-building initiatives on teacher performance, focusing on the role of professional development, mentoring, and resource availability. Through a mixed-methods approach involving surveys and interviews, the study identifies a significant positive relationship between capacity-building efforts and improved teaching effectiveness. The research integrates various theoretical frameworks, including Andragogy, Social Cognitive Theory, and the Resource-Based View, to understand how these initiatives enhance teachers' confidence, classroom management, and student engagement. However, the study also highlights challenges such as time constraints, inadequate funding, and insufficient administrative support, which can hinder the effectiveness of capacity-building programs. The findings emphasize the need for continuous institutional support and the strategic integration of capacity-building efforts to foster sustainable improvements in teaching practices. Recommendations include increasing access to tailored professional development, integrating mentoring into capacity-building programs, and regularly evaluating the impact of these initiatives on teacher performance.

Abstract

Capacity Building is very important in this era of digital transformation. Capacity Building includes improving the skills, knowledge and capabilities of individuals, organizations and communities in order to adopt and make the most of digital technology. Until now, no coaching activities have been carried out in the form of increasing the capacity and skills of service officer resources. So the Riau Province Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) carried out Capacity Building Training activities aimed at Riau Province Bapenda's social security service officers. Through this training participants were taught how to provide excellent service, capacity building, and skilled in communication.

Abstract

This community service activity was organized by the Riau Provincial Tourism Office in order to improve the development of the tourism sector through the Riau Bujang Dara Selection event. The purpose of the Bujang Dara Riau Election is to find young people who have potential and are expected to become role models for other young people. The competition method is that participants are sons and daughters of the region who come from 12 regencies and cities in Riau Province. Furthermore, it is selected by the Regency and City Tourism Office respectively so that one pair of Bujang Dara winners will be selected as finalists and represent the area to continue to the Provincial Level Bujang Dara election. Furthermore, the judges assessed the cultural knowledge, traditional knowledge, intellectual knowledge, public speaking, character, education and insight of the finalists.

Abstract

This research purposed to determine the effect of good corporate governance, profitability, leverage and firm size towards the disclosure of sustainability report in companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2018 - 2022 period. This study uses secondary data. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling. The number of samples obtained were 68 companies. The analysis method of this research uses descriptive analysis and several types of evaluation used SPSS software. From this research, it can be concluded that only audit committee, profitability (ROA) and firm size partially has a positive effect on the disclosure of sustainability report. Meanwhile, the board of commissioner, board of director and leverage (DER) has no effect on the disclosure of sustainability report. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh good corporate governance, profitabilitas, leverage dan ukuran perusahaan terhadap pengungkapan sustainability report pada perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2018 - 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder. Teknik sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling. Jumlah sampel yang diperoleh sebanyak 68 perusahaan. Metode analisis penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif serta beberapa jenis evaluasi dengan menggunakan bantuan software SPSS. Dari penelitian ini diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa hanya komite audit, profitabilitas (ROA) dan ukuran perusahaan secara parsial berpengaruh positif terhadap pengungkapan sustainability report. Sedangkan dewan komisaris, dewan direksi dan leverage (DER) tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap pengungkapan sustainability report.

Abstract

This study aims to partially and simultaneously analyze the effect of customer satisfaction, product quality, and price on customer loyalty at CV Riau Bangunan Pekanbaru. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis using the SPSS version 21 application, with a sample of 100 customers at CV Riau Bangunan Pekanbaru. The results of the research overall variable customer satisfaction and product quality affect customer loyalty at CV Riau Bangunan Pekanbaru. At the same time, price has a negative effect on customer loyalty at CV Riau Bangunan Pekanbaru. Customer satisfaction, product quality, and price have contributed 81.7% to the customer loyalty variable, although there is still an 18.3% influence on other factors not included in the study.

Abstract

This research explores the transformative impact of Decentralized Finance (DeFi) on traditional banking systems. DeFi, leveraging blockchain technology and smart contracts, has emerged as a significant disruptor in the financial industry by offering decentralized, transparent, and accessible financial services. This study aims to assess how DeFi challenges conventional banking models and the implications for the future of financial services. Through a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative analysis of financial data and qualitative insights from industry experts, this research identifies key components of DeFi and examines its effects on traditional banking operations, customer experiences, and financial stability. The findings reveal a significant increase in DeFi transaction volumes and user engagement, accompanied by a reduction in certain traditional banking activities. While DeFi offers benefits such as lower transaction costs and enhanced accessibility, it also introduces challenges related to security, regulatory uncertainty, and market volatility. The study concludes that DeFi presents both opportunities and risks for traditional banking systems. To remain competitive, traditional banks may need to adopt blockchain technologies and explore strategic partnerships with DeFi platforms. Policymakers are advised to develop clear regulatory frameworks to manage associated risks while fostering innovation. This research provides valuable insights for financial institutions, regulators, and investors navigating the evolving landscape of financial services.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Current Ratio (CR), Return on Asset (ROA), Cash Ratio, dan Net Profit Margin (NPM) terhadap Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) pada perusahaan makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2018-2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder. Teknik sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling. Jumlah sampel yang diperoleh sebanyak 19 perusahaan. Metode analisis penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif serta beberapa jenis evaluasi dengan menggunakan bantuan software SmartPLS. Dari penelitian ini diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) dan Return on Asset (ROA) memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR). Sedangkan Current Ratio (CR), Cash Ratio, dan Net Profit Margin (NPM) tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR).
