Abstract

This research aimed to know economics terms used every day in written media, electronic media, and verbal interaction. All the words be seen if Indonesian vocabularies develop. To catch some information about economics terms, the writer chooses the library method by observing and noting all terms of economics throughout media (written, electronic) and social interaction. What the writer analyzed, the writer caught 203 economics terms which used, but only 77 terms or 34.94 percent, usually used in communication every day. It pointed that economics contributed a lot to Indonesian vocabularies enrichment.

Abstract

History learning includes three activities, namely planning, implementation and assessment. However, history teachers tend to be more concerned with planning and implementation, while the assessment aspect is considered less important. In the Kurikulum Merdeka, assessment is an activity that is as important as learning, even the official guidelines are entitled "Learning and Assessment Guidelines". This article aims to analyze how history learning is assessed in the implementation of the independent curriculum. The method used is literature study, namely analyzing books, articles, guidelines and regulations related to assessment and the Kurikulum Merdeka. Assessment in the Kurikulum Merdeka uses formative and summative assessments. Formative assessments are carried out at the beginning and middle of learning, while summative assessments are carried out at the end of learning. The purpose of formative assessment is to improve the quality of learning, while summative determines the student's final grade. History learning in the Kurikulum Merdeka has several strands or skills which are also elements of learning outcomes. In preparing a history learning assessment, the teacher first determines the skills/strands and learning objectives, then decides on the form and technique of the relevant instruments. Determination of assessments needs to look at student characteristics so that student-centered learning.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini membahas tentang perilaku phubbing dikalangan mahasiswa Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar. Phubbing merupakan istilah yang muncul dan digunakan untuk menggambarkan suatu penampakan dari perilaku individu yang mengabaikan lingkungan sosialnya,. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apa yang menjadi faktor penyebab terjadinya perilaku phubbing di kalangan mahasiswa. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik yang digunakan dalam menentukan informan adalah snowball sampling. Jumlah informan sebanyak 6 orang mahasiswa Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data kualitatif diuraikan dalam tiga tahapan, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik validasi data menggunakan triagulasi waktu. Hasil penelitian ini menujukkan bahwa Faktor penyebab terjadinya perilaku phubbing dikalangan mahasiswa Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar adalah keberagaman fiture aplikasi smartphone, terlalu asik chatingan, dan terlalu asik dengan game.

Abstract

This thesis discusses the use of learning media in enhancing students' interest in Islamic Education among fourth-grade students at SDIT Al-Insan Pinrang. The research aims to determine whether the use of the Marbel Wudu learning application can improve the interest in learning Islamic Education among fourth-grade students at SDIT Al-Insan Pinrang. The method employed is Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the spiral/cycle model by Kemmis and Taggart, consisting of two cycles with four stages in each cycle: planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects are 27 students. Data collection techniques include observation, questionnaires, and documentation. Teacher activity data is obtained through observation and analyzed to compare the activity levels in each cycle. Data on students' interest in learning are obtained through questionnaire distribution, which is then analyzed to observe improvements in each cycle. The research results indicate an increase in students' interest in the Islamic Education subject through the use of the Marbel Wudu learning application. This is proven by the increased effectiveness of the teaching methods implemented by the teacher. Based on the observation results in cycles I and II, in cycle I, the use of the Marbel Wudu learning application in Islamic Education learning obtained a percentage of 61.15% (fair), and in cycle II, the percentage increased to 81.92% (very good). Furthermore, the improvement in students' interest is reflected in the average increase in each cycle, with a classical percentage of 72.03% (good) in cycle I and 81.14% (very good) in cycle II, resulting in an improvement of 9.11%. This indicates that the use of the Marbel Wudu learning application can enhance students' interest in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of democratic leadership and communication on performance in national unity and politics in the city of Sibolga. The type of research used in this research is descriptive quantitative. The sample in this study were employees at the Office of National Unity and Politics in the City of Sibolga with a total of 32 respondents distributing questionnaires. Based on the results of the study, it showed that there was a positive relationship between democratic leadership and performance at the Office of National Unity and Politics in the City of Sibolga, which was 0.093, while communication with employee performance was 0.123 so that when interpreted on a value scale it could be categorized as sufficient and good. The regression equation obtained is Y = 39.446 + 0.037X1 + 0.161X2 which shows leadership and communication on performance. The t test shows that the proposed hypothesis is rejected, where t count is -0.111 <2.04227 which means that employee performance will decrease by the regression coefficient (0.100) if the democratic leadership variable is added to one unit and other variables are considered constant. While communication has a significant effect on employee performance where t count < t table, namely -0.111 <2.04227. While the coefficient of determination is known that free-control democratic leadership only plays a role of 0.100% of the performance at the Office of National Unity and Politics in Sibolga City and the rest is influenced by factors not examined.

Abstract

The sample in this study is the employees who are in the Dinas Pengendalian Penduduk dan Keluarga Berencana Kota Sibolga.The method used in this research is descriptive kuntitatif method by conducting multiple linear regression analysis test. This research is done by quantitative method. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires. Data analysis techniques used in this study is multiple linear regression using SPSS version 25 for windows. Style Leadership and Motivation simultaneously affect the performance of employees. Leadership style partially significant effect on employee performance, Motivation partially also have a significant effect on employee performance. Furthermore, the variable that has the most significant influence is the Leadership Style

Abstract

This study aims to prove the difference in talk dominance between the male group and the female group in English Education Department batch 2019 at UIN Alauddin Makassar.Moreover, this study was conducted to know the factors that cause the occurrence of talk dominance in the English Education Department batch 2019 at UIN Alauddin Makassar. This study used a qualitative descriptive design to prove whether there is talk dominance between the male group and the female group in the English Education Department batch 2019 at UIN Alauddin Makassar,. The data were taken from classroom observations via Zoom application when the students were discussing. The data were analyzed based on the theory of Kaharuddin and Ismail (2017:146) in which there were four stages: collection, identification, classification, and explanation. To find out the factors that led to the talk dominance, the researcher made questions on Google form and distributed them to 42 students of the English Education Department batch 2019 at UIN Alauddin Makassar. The result showed that there were 88 sentences produced by the students (male and female). There were 25 sentences produced by the male group and 63 by the female group. There it can be concluded that women's groups dominated the discussion. Furthermore, the factors for the occurrence of talk dominance were; intelligence factors, learning motivation factors, learning strategy factors, learning facilities, teacher responses, and the influence of friends. Abstract

Tuturan imperatif banyak digunakan dalam instagram sebagai media interaksi sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tipe-tipe kesantunan tuturan imperatif dalam kolom komentar instagram Joko Widodo. Sumber data adalah tuturan warganet dalam kolom komentar pada unggahan di instagram Joko Widodo dengan deskripsi “Seusai Jumatan di Masjid Al Iklhas, Kota Binjai, siang ini, saya bertolak ke Jakarta” tanggal 4 Februari 2022 yang mengandung kesantunan imperatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode simak dengan teknik salin. Penyimakan dilakukan dengan cara menyimak tuturan yang mengandung kesantunan imperatif dalam kolom komentar instagram Joko Widodo. Setelah itu, menyalin tuturan yang telah dipilih secara purposif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada dua jenis tuturan imperatif, yaitu  tuturan kesantunan linguistik imperatif dan tuturan kesantunan pragmatik imperatif. Tuturan kesantunan linguistik imperatif menggunakan penanda tolong yang terdiri dari enam tuturan dan penanda mohon yang terdiri dari tiga tuturan. Tuturan kesantunan pragmatik imperatif terdiri dari dua wujud, yaitu tuturan interogatif dan tuturan deklaratif. Tuturan interogatif terdiri dari dua wujud, yaitu perintah sebanyak empat tuturan dan tuturan ajakan sebanyak dua tuturan. Tuturan deklaratif terdiri dari tiga wujud, yaitu suruhan sebanyak tiga tuturan, ajakan sebanyak tiga tuturan, dan permohan sebanyak dua tuturan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang peranan Ammatoa dalam pemberian sanksi tindak pidana pelaku pengrusakan hutan di suku adat Kajang Ammatoa. Karena masih ada pelaku yang masih melakukan pelanggaran pengrusakan hutan seperti menebang kayu, mengambil udang, membakar lebah dan mengambil rotan padahal sudah ada sanksi-sanksi hukum adat yang akan di berikan serta ritual-ritual ekstrim yang dapat dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peranan Ammatoa sebagai kepala suku beserta pemangku adatnya dalam menyelesaikan kasus pengrusakan hutan. Penelitian ini berlokasi di Desa Tanah Towa, Kecamatan Kajang, Kabupaten Bulukumba. Jenis penelitian ini adalah oenelirian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan secara interaktif, melalui proses reduksi data, penyajian data dan pengambilan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menujukkan bahwa Ammatoa sebagai kepala suku memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan-permasalah yang terjadi tidak hanya itu peranan pemangku adat juga sangat membantu dalam proses pengambilan keputusan yang dilakukan melalui musyawarah sehingga pelaku pengrusakan hutan dapat dikenakan sanksi sesuai dengan pelanggaran yang mereka lakukan.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using video media in enhancing the listening skills (maharah al-istima') of eighth-grade students at MTs Al-Amanah Waikaya. The specific objectives are to 1) assess the students' listening skills before the implementation of video media, 2) measure the students' listening skills after the use of video media, and 3) determine whether there is a significant improvement in listening skills following the use of video media. The research employs a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design, using pre-test and post-test methods with a sample of 23 students. Data analysis was performed using inferential statistical tests via SPSS 26. The findings indicate a significant improvement in students' listening skills after the application of video media, with a Sig. (2-tailed) value of < 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05), confirming the research hypothesis. The implications of these findings suggest that video media can be an innovative and effective tool for teaching Arabic language skills. Recommendations include the routine integration of video media into the curriculum and training for educators to further enhance students' listening skills.
