Abstract

Curculigo latifolia is a herbaceous plant that is abundant on the islands of Java, Sumatra and Kalimantan. C. latifolia has not been well explored. The research to determine the phytochemical content of C. latifolia, to analyze the organoleptic sweetness level of C. latifolia fruit and to analyze the anti-diabetic potential of C. latifolia plant extracts on  diabetic mice. The study was conducted experimentally using  6 treatment levels and 4 replications. Prior to treatment, mice were induced hyperglycemia using alloxan 150 mg/kg WB were induced subcutaneously. The treatment being tested was oral Ethanol crude extract (ECE) for 28 days with 400 mg/kg WB, namely: G1: oral mineral water; G2: glibenclamide ; G3: ECE leaf; G4: ECE root; G5: ECE fruit and G6: ECE tree. Blood sugar levels were measured at 0, 7, 14, 21 and 28 days after oral ECE. Therefore, respondents stated that after consuming the fruit, they had a sweet-tasting and taste-modifying mineral water with a strength of 82.40 ± 8.36%, but the fruit extract did not show any sweet-tasting and taste-modifying. ANOVA results showed that oral ECE administration had a significant effect low on blood sugar levels. the HSD test was carried out with a 95% confidence level. ECE C. latifolia showed positive results on the tests of flavonoids, phenolics, saponins, alkaloids, triterpenoids and tannins. G4 was effective in reducing sugar levels after short time and  G5 for 28 days (long time). C. latifolia have pharmacology effects to lower sugar levels and has taste modifying to sweetness.

Abstract

Sektor pertanian memegang peran kritis dalam ekonomi dan kesejahteraan sosial Indonesia, khususnya di Bandung, dimana mayoritas penduduknya bergantung pada pertanian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami peran karakteristik sosial-ekonomi petani terhadap kinerja usaha tani sayur di Bandung, dengan fokus pada pendidikan petani, pengalaman bertani, akses ke modal, dan dukungan komunitas. Metodologi kualitatif digunakan untuk menganalisis data verbal dan tertulis, mengeksplorasi hubungan antara faktor sosial-ekonomi dengan efisiensi dan produktivitas usaha tani sayur. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan petani berkontribusi signifikan terhadap pengelolaan usaha yang lebih efisien, pengalaman bertani meningkatkan kemampuan manajemen, akses ke modal memfasilitasi investasi dalam pertanian, dan dukungan komunitas memperkuat pertukaran pengetahuan dan sumber daya. Selanjutnya, infrastruktur yang memadai dan kebijakan pemerintah yang mendukung ditemukan sebagai faktor penting lainnya yang meningkatkan kinerja usaha tani sayur. Penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya pendekatan terintegrasi yang melibatkan peningkatan karakteristik sosial-ekonomi petani untuk mengoptimalkan kinerja usaha tani sayur dan memajukan sektor pertanian di Bandung.

Abstract

Micro businesses, which are the backbone of the Indonesian economy, must be legalized so that they move up a class in improving the economic welfare of the people. To make this happen, government leadership through the empowerment function by creating PIRT for Micro Enterprises. As an initial stage, Micro Businesses must register their Business Identification Number (NIB) to increase consumer confidence and facilitate business transactions. The aim of PkM is to increase the legality of Micro Businesses in Rancatungku village in the culinary, grocery and service sectors through assistance with NIB registration. The PkM implementation method is a lecture to refresh partners about the benefits of NIB in capital, legal strength, increased production and marketing. Meanwhile, for assistance with NIB registration via Online Single Submissions (OSS), a question and answer method is used which is guided by the head of the UMBandung IPR Study Center and accompanied by the PkM head, students and village government representatives through good collaboration by dividing tasks and providing supporting infrastructure for laptops, cellphones and printers. The results of the assistance have resulted in the successful issuance of four NIB certificates for Micro Business actors in the culinary and grocery sectors. It is hoped that having an NIB certificate will motivate them to move up to a higher level in the trade and entrepreneurship sectors. The ease of implementing OSS in licensing services has encouraged other sectors such as BUMDES and student businesses to be registered with NIB.
