Abstract

Mathematics is one of the subjects that trains students to think critically, logically, analytically, systematically, and creatively. One of the regulations of the Minister of Nation Education No.23 of 2006 years, about “graduate competency standards” is to have the ability to cooperate. One way to develop students’s critical thinking skills is to apply student oriented learning with open learning, Open Ended. The method in this study is an experimental method by applying an Open Ended learning model. The purpose of this study was to obtain data or information about the influence and general picture of students critical thinking skills after the application of Open Ended learning in teaching and learning in the classroom. In addition to get an overview of students respones to the application of Open Ended. This study took the population class V MI Al-Falahiyah Kedungrejo-Kerek-Tuban lesson years 2019/2020. This study uses the population as a score of data because the number of students studied is less than 100 students. Namely fifth grade students, amuting to 20 students. The instruments used as data collection were questionnaires and test of mathematical critical thinking skills in fraction subjects. The statistical test used was a t-test with a pre test and post test one group design. Students whos responded to learning with who Open Ended model with a score range’s of 25-27by 10%, a range scores of 28-30 by 15%, a range scores 31-33 by 30%, a range scores of 34-36 by 15%, and 37-39 by 30%. With 11 students who responded well, and 9 students who responded very good, to the Open Ended learning model. Hypothesis test results with the t-test t hitung > t tabel (2,109>2,029). While the average value of students mathematic critical thinking ability of students is categorized as moderate or sufficient.

Abstract

This article aims to examine the policy of merdeka belajar which is considered suitable to be applied in the era of digitalization that brings democracy of knowledge. The focus of the study in this research is the policy of merdeka belajar and digitalization of education which is using a qualitative approach with the type of Library Research, the literacy collected is extracted from online journal articles sources that are relevant to the research focus in the last 10 years. After going through data reduction, content analysis, it can be concluded that the independent learning policy is considered relevant to the demands of digitalization of education in Indonesia.

Abstract

Learning is a way for someone to gain knowledge through experience, remembering, and getting information / finding. Teaching through providing experience in finding his own knowledge, it is hoped that these lessons will be meaningful for students. This study aims to find out about the application of inquiry learning models, improve student learning achievement through inquiry models, student responses to the application of inquiry learning models in science subjects the subject matter of life cycle in class V MI Sunan Kalijogo Wolutengah Kerek District, Tuban lesson year 2017/2018. This research is a type of Classroom Action Research (Action Classroom Research). The data in this study are data on increasing the learning achievement of science subjects in the life cycle with inquiry learning models. Data analysis was carried out by observing student activities, questionnaires to determine student responses that were calculated in the form of percentages, and data from student evaluation results. From the implementation of this study the results were obtained (1) that the application of inquiry learning models in science learning the subject matter of the life cycle of living things can improve student learning achievement. The increase can be seen from the learning outcomes achieved by students in the first cycle and second cycle which are significant. (2) student learning achievement has increased after the implementation of inquiry learning models. After the application of the inquiry learning model in the first cycle the average value of students was 62.63, in the second cycle it increased to 81.84. Increased activity of students in observation or group discussion, in the first cycle 52.63%, in the second cycle to 84.21%. The accuracy of completing the chart or table of observation in the first cycle is 57.89%, in the second cycle becomes 84.21%. The activity at presentation in the first cycle was 15.79%, increasing in the second cycle to 57.89%. The intensity of play alone decreased from 31.58% to 15.79% in cycle II. (3) Positive student responses, indicated by 17 students (89.47%) liked the application of the inquiry learning model, and 2 students (10.53%) did not like because they felt left behind from their friends. The results of this class action research can be categorized as successful in its implementation. The conclusions from the results of this study that the application of inquiry learning models in science subjects the subject matter of the life cycle in class V MI Sunan Kalijogo Wolutengah Kerek District, Tuban Regency 2017/2018 school year can improve student learning achievement.

Abstract

Learning of reading provides students with the knowledge and ability to master reading techniques, and capture the reading content well and be able to write it correctly. Reading activities become part of human life in everyday life, through reading activities we can find knowledge, and open insights.This study aims to describe students' reading ability with the application of fast-reading smart books that have previously been developed in previous research. The method in this study is a quantitative approach with a type of experimental research that uses pre test post test design. The subjects in this study were grade 1 students of SD Islam Terpadu Asslafiyyah Pambon Tuban with a total of 7 students. The results of the student's research were completed with KKM ≥70 with a percentage of student completion obtained by 100%. After the calculation of The Normality Gain Test explained that the improvement of learning outcomes obtained an increase in the high category with the number of 5 students, and moderate 2 students. Psychomotor observations gained an average of 94. So it can be said that the use of Smart Book Quick Read that has been in grade 1 of SD Islam Terpadu Assalafiyyah Pambon Tuban can improve the cognitive and psychomotor learning outcomes of students

Abstract

This research is aims to develop teaching materials that meet the needs of students. This teaching material as a learning support to improve students' reading skills so that students are able to read and write. This textbook is in the form of “Quick Read Smart Books”. The procedure for developing this fast-reading smart book consists of three stages, namely Define, Design, Develop. This smart book was assessed by two validators, namely a media expert validator and a material expert validator to determine the feasibility of the product. Then carried out the observation of the implementation of learning to obtain data and determine the practicality of the product. Furthermore, there are pretest-posttest questions and student response questionnaires to determine the effectiveness of the product.

Abstract

This research intent to describe performed learning, skill step-up processes science, and student response by use of learning model 7E in intregated sciences class VIII SMP. This research constitute True Experiment Design. This observational population is all class VIII SMPN 2 Krian Sidoarjo school years 2013 / 2014 ones consisting of 8 classes. Sample that is utilized in this research is class VIII-E as class of experiment and class VIII-F as class of control. Data on observational it is data as yielding as pre-test and post-test skill processes science and studying result, skill observation data processes science and student response questionnaire. Sample gets normal distribution and homogeneous. Result arithmeticing to point out science process skill chastened student with learning model 7E tall increasing happening signifikan's one as big as 0,73 but was reached klasikal's ala thoroughness. Meanwhile studying result happens step-up 0,74 and were reached by presentase thoroughness 97 %. It points out that learning model 7E in integrated sciences theme Biomassa's energy can increase prose's skill science and student studying result. Learning model 7E getting positive response of student.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini mengangkat isu bahwa distribusi penyebaran aspek kecerdasan majemuk (multiple intelligence) pada buku tematik kurikulum 2013 belum merata. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengembangkan bahan ajar yang berbasis Multiple Intelligences pada pembelajaran tematik khususnya Tema Pengalamanku Subtema Pengalaman Masa Kecil yang didesain khusus untuk Kelas I di MI Matholibul Huda Jenggolo Jenu Tuban tahun 2020/2021 dengan memaparkan validitas, kepraktisan dan keefektifannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan desain pengembangan 4-D. Desain pengembangan 4-D meliputi tahapan define (pendefinisian), design (perencanaan), develop (pengembangan), dan disseminate (penyebaran). Akan tetapi, tahapan dalam penelitian ini terbatas pada tahap develop (pengembangan) saja. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, bahan ajar yang dikembangkan dinilai sangat valid, Hasil uji kepraktisan dari hasil lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran menunjukkan bahan ajar yang dikembangkan dinilai dalam kategori baik. Disamping itu, bahan ajar tersebut juga dinilai dapat diterapkan secara efektif dalam  meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran tematik. Sehingga disimpulkan bahwa Bahan Ajar Berbasis Multiple Intelligences yang dikembangkan pada pembelajaran tematik dinilai layak diimplementasikan di Kelas I di MI Matholibul Huda Jenggolo Jenu Tuban.Abstract: This study raises the issue that the distribution of aspects of multiple intelligences in the 2013-Curriculum thematic books has not been even. The purpose of this study was to develop teaching materials based on Multiple Intelligences on the theme of My Childhood Experience which was specially designed for Class I at MI Matholibul Huda Jenggolo Jenu Tuban in 2020/2021 by explaining its validity, practicality, and effectiveness. This study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method which refers to the 4-D development model. The 4-D development model comprised defining, planning, developing, and disseminating. However, the researchers only focused on the development stage. The results showed that the teaching materials developed were categorized as strongly valid. The results of the practicality aspect from the observation sheet of the learning process showed that the teaching materials developed were effectively used because they could significantly increase the value of the students’ learning outcomes. Therefore, it can be concluded that the thematic learning materials, based on Multiple Intelligences are feasible to use.

Abstract

The problem of this research is based on such as students who are less active in questioning with the teacher, and students have not been facilitated to carry out various activities such as experimental tools or various experiments, and also the media still does not attract the attention and enthusiasm of students in learning in class. The aims of this study were (1) to describe the application of a guided inquiry model with multimedia to improve science learning outcomes for fifth-grade students at MI Kelopo Telu Tuban (2) to describe science learning outcomes for fifth-grade students at MI Kelopo Telu Tuban (3) to describe improving science learning outcomes in the application of guided inquiry model with multimedia in class V MI Kelopo Telu Tuban. The type of research used is collaborative classroom action research which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects in this study were students V MI Kelopo Telu Tuban, totaling 15 students. The data used are quantitative in the form of evaluation test results and qualitative data in the form of observations and interview sheets to students regarding the application of guided inquiry models with multimedia. Data collection techniques used are test and non-test techniques, namely observation, and interviews. Data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. From the results of research on student learning outcomes, each cycle experienced an increase in the application of guided inquiry learning science with this multimedia model. in the first cycle, the average is 77.33, and the completeness is 66.66%, while in the second cycle the average is 82.26 and the completeness is 93.33%. It can be said that classical completeness has been fulfilled because it has reached 75%. Thus, the conclusion of this study is that the application of the guided inquiry model with multimedia can improve learning outcomes in class V MI Kelopo Telu Tuban students.

Abstract

This study aims to dig deeper into the application of humanistic learning theory in limited face-to-face learning. The approach used in this research was qualitative method. The type of research used was case study. The location of this research was done at MI NU Hidayatun Najah which is located in the city of Tuban. The choice of research location was based on the fact that prior to the limited face-to-face and online learning, before this pandemic MI NU Hidayatun Najah was a full day school. Sources of data in this study were 3 informants which included class teachers and Koran teachers. The instruments in this study were documentation and interview sheets containing seven indicators regarding the implementation of humanistic learning theory in limited face-to-face learning. From the results of research that has been carried out by researchers, it is found that MI NU Hidayatun Najah Tuban has not been maximal in implementing humanistic learning theory in limited face-to-face learning. The results obtained in this study are still very limited and need to be developed in a wider scope. However, the findings in this study are expected to be used as evaluation material for a better implementation of humanistic theory at MI NU Hidayatun Najah Tuban.

Abstract

This study aims to produce biotechnopreneurship-based science learning materials that are valid, practical, and effectiveto facilitate junior high school students’ life skills. This research is development research using a 4D development model that produces Biotechnopreneurship-based science learning materials equipped with the syllabus, lesson plan, student worksheets, life skills tests. Learning materials were tested on 35 junior high school students with the one-group pretest-posttest design. Data analysis is descriptive qualitative with the results: (a) validation of learning materials with valid categories (score 3-4); (b) readability of learning materials with good categories (c) implementation of learning in good categories (score 3.7); (d) student responses were positive; (e) students’life skills generally increase (N-gain 0.71 with high category). The indicator of Life Skills that experiences the most significant increase between pre test and post test is the aspect of making a decision. Indicators of information gathering are indicators that have a low increase after learning. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the biotechnopreneurship-based science learning materials are valid, practical, and effective to facilitate junior high school students’ life skills.
