Abstract

Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah adalah suatu badan pemerintahan yang bertugas untuk melakukan penanggulangan dan penanganan bencana alam yang diharuskan untuk selalu memberikan informasi mengenai bencana alam dengan tepat waktu terutama di masa pandemi Covid-19 seperti sekarang ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh motivasi kerja dan disiplin kerja terhadap efektivitas kerja pada Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah Provinsi Jawa Timur. Jenis penelitian adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi pada penelitian yaitu pegawai yang berjumlah 96 orang dengan sampel penelitian 49 orang. Teknik Analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda dengan pengujian outer model, pengujian inner model, dan pengujian hipotesis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian secara simultan, bahwa motivasi kerja dan disiplin kerja memiliki pengaruh terhadap efektivitas kerja. Besarnya koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,556 artinya kemampuan motivasi kerja dan disiplin kerja menjelaskan pengaruhnya terhadap efektivitas kerja sebesar 55,65%. Sedangkan sisanya sebesar 44,35% merupakan variabel bebas lain yang tidak diteliti pada penelitian ini seperti lingkungan kerja, kompensasi, kepemimpinan dan lain-lainnya.

Abstract

Dunia pendidikan yang lebih kompetitif akan membuat sebuah universitas atau perguruan tinggi perlu memiliki keunggulan bersaing. Agar bias eksis dalam persaingan maka sudah seharusnya sebuah universitas bias memberikan berbagai fasilitas yang dapat mendukung proses belajar mengajar (proses pembelajaran). Sehingga mahasiswa dapat menyesuaikan dengan lingkungan belajar di perguruan tinggi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis efektivitas dari strategi penyesuaian untuk mahasiswa baru dalam proses pembelajaran (learning process). Studi (penelitian) ini menggunakan data primer yang terkumpul dari mahasiswa baru yang mengikuti proses pembelajaran melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 146 mahasiswa baru di UPN “Veteran” Jawa Timur. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah PLS (partial least square) yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis.: Strategi penyesuaian yang lebih tepat akan membuat mahasiswa baru lebih baik dalam proses pembelajaran di perguruan tinggi. Uji kausalitas menunjukkan bahwa strategi coping memiliki pengaruh positip terhadap proses penyesuaian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa emotional focus copying merupakan faktor yang paling besar pengaruhnya.  Artinya, bahwa mahasiswa perlu lebih berfokus pada faktor ini untuk menyelesaikan masalah penyesuaian diri mereka dengan proses pembelajaran di perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

The more competitive of education world, will make an university to have competitive adventage. In order to survive an university should be able to provide facilities that can support learning process. So that student can adjust to the environment.The aims of this study was to analyse the effectiveness of adjustment strategies for new student in the learning process. This study used primory data, collected from questionare, whith is distributed to 146 students UPN “Veteran” Jawa Timur. Technique analysis used PLS (parsial Least Square) which used to test the hypothesis : the more appropriate adjustment strategy, will make the better students learning process in higher education.The causality test showed that copying strategies has positive effect on adjustment process (accepted). This result showed indicator of emotional focus copying has the biggest loading factor. It means that students more dominant focused on emotional focus copying to solve their self adjustment

Abstract

It is a fact that any product categorized as a daily need and therefore, it is considered the first product in the customers hand. The key to such a condition is by increasing the custom- ers loyalty to the product. To do so, multi-level-marketing (MLM) can be implemented in a business. This research attempts to see the influence of the variables such as communication satisfaction, marginal satisfaction, and product satisfaction, Loyalty to salesperson, Product Loyalty, and Business Builder toward the customers loyalty to the product. The author uses semantic scale differential as variable scale. The respondents as the subjects studied are the active members of Oriflame multilevel marketing company which have joined the company for at least 1 (one) year. There are 112 members taken as the sample and it uses Sstructural Equa- tion Mmodeling (SEM) to analyze the data. It was found that the product satisfaction factor have positive influence toward the loyalty to product, the loyalty to product has also positive influence toward the loyalty to salesman and the business builders. Next hypothesis say they marginal satisfaction has positive influence toward the loyalty to product, marginal satisfac- tion has positive influence toward the loyalty to salesman, and communication satisfaction factor has positive influence toward the loyalty to salesman all are not accepted. Abstract

In improving the employees performance, a company needs to realize the commitment to the improvement for the employees prosperity, quality, and leadership style in which those fac- tors are assumed to contribute to the greater interest of the company through employees performance and achievements. PT. Hikmah Sejahtera Surabaya is a multi-business company suffering from the performance decline almost in every business unit the company owns. Due to such a condition, this research aimed to acknowledge in-depth analysis on the influence of Compensation, Motivation, and Leadership style towards the employee performance in PT. Hikmah Sejahtera Surabaya. It uses the population consisting of the entire employees work- ing in the company that are included as the research sample. This research employed Census sampling method and SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) as its data analysis technique. The analyses led to conclusions that leadership does not influence motivation, compensation does not influence performance, and as well as the leadership. Meanwhile, compensation has significant-positive influence towards motivation and motivation has significant-positive influence towards performance. Therefore, management should pay greater concern particu- larly on the employees compensation policy (bonuses and benefits), thus engaging them to be highly motivated as well as to be willingly responsible and in-charge for achievement efforts.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work motivation and work environment on employee work discipline (case study of CV Pelita Offset Jombang). The population in this study were all employees of CV Pelita Offset Jombang with a total of 53 people. The sampling technique used was the saturated sample method. The questionnaire method used for data collection in this study. This study uses Partial Least Square (PLS) as a data analysis technique. The results show that work discipline is positively influenced by work motivation and work environment as seen from hypothesis testing where work motivation has a t-statistic of 2.879, the work environment has a t-statistic of 10,823. This shows that work motivation and a good work environment will increase the work discipline of CV Pelita Offset Jombang employees

Abstract

Kepuasan kerja karyawan merupakan salah satu faktor penting yang harus diperhatikan oleh Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia. Ini karena peran manusia yang begitu penting dalam menunjang pencapaian tujuan perusahaan yaitu mendapatkan keuntungan yang optimal serta dapat mempertahankan usaha yang sedang dijalankan dalam jangka waktu panjang, meskipun berbagai faktor yang dibutuhkan telah tersedia perusahaan tidak akan berjalan.  Untuk mencapai tujuan perusahaan tersebut, perusahaan harus mampu mengelola sumber daya manusia dan melakukan pendekatan kepada karyawannya supaya  pekerja dapat bekerja secara produktif dan puas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini tidak lain adalah ingin mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan dan motivasi kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan KopKar Sampoerna Surabaya. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh karyawan KopKar Sampoerna Primer dan Rungkut 2 berjumlah 50 responden. Metode non probability sampling sebagai metode pengambilan sampel dan teknik sampling jenuh sebagai teknik pengambilan sampel, metode sampling jenuh yaitu seluruh karyawan KopKar Sampoerna Surabaya sejumlah 50 responden. Peneliti ini juga mengadopsi teknik Partial Least Square (PLS) sebagai teknik analisis data penelitian. Penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil bahwa kepemimpinan dan motivasi kerja mempunyai pengaruh signifikan(positif) terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan.

Abstract

ASEAN Economic Society (MEA) era initiated in 2015 brought opportunity and challenge as well for Indonesian economic. As MEA enacted in the end of 2015, ASEAN member countries experience free flow of goods, services, investment and educated manpower from and to respective countries. From 14 creative economic sectors as listed in Presidential Instruction (Inpres) Number 6 Year 2009 concerning Creative Economic Development, there is one poor creative industry subsector, namely ‘Exhibition Art’, in which such subsector only contribute 0.10% from entire creative industries. TRIO ABG or frequently referred to as Triple Helix, which is synergy between Business Government, is one of concept in increasing creative industry growth. In addition, creative industry establishment also determined from such creative industry competitive advantages. This research aimed to review TRIO ABG contribution and Competitive Advantages against exhibition art creative industry development in East Java. Population in this research were entire creative industry owner/management from 14 creative industry sectors. Sample in this research were 42 owners/management of ‚Exhibition Art? creative industry sub-sector. Partial Least Square (PLS) were analysis technique used in this research, which is analysis alternative method with variance-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Research result showed that TRIO ABG still unable to provided contribution for exhibition art creative industry in East Java. Such three helix roles actually exist, but it was highly minimum and not synergized yet. Likewise, competitive advantages on exhibition art creative industry in East Java still unable to become competitive advantage that could compete with other industries.

Abstract

Lebay Crackers (Catfish and Spinach Calcium) have a high nutritional content, this cracker is made from natural ingredients of the combination of catfish with spinach vegetables. Utilization of Science and Technology for Society (PIKAT) needs to be implemented with the intention to transfer appropriate technology especially in the field of processing of fishery with spinach vegetable Type of processed catfish that will be developed is Lupil Cracker mixed with Spinach Spinach (Lebay Crackers). The development of processed business Catfish chips Blended with spinach vegetables (Lebay Crackers) is in addition to potential as a profitable business, on the other hand, can also give a more positive impact for the economic improvement of surrounding communities. First, Lebay Kerupuk processed business opens job opportunities for Ibu Inayah and the community. With the existence of dough cracker processing machine that has technology reliability, simple shape, easy to operate, and can increase the quantity and quality of production and make packaging.

Abstract

The growth of the retail business has had an impact on the economy in Indonesia. So that competition between business actors is very high and each company will try to offer an advantage they have. As is the case for retail businesses, they will be competing on how to improve the quality of their service to customers. What is offered is the completeness of the product being sold, the price, service and the structure and design of the fixed location. The purpose of this study was to test measuring the service quality variables at Annisa Minimarket. This study uses primary data obtained by distributing questionnaires to Annisa minimarket customers. The analysis technique used is PLS. Based on the results of data processing, it can be concluded that the perceived service quality factor affects (significantly) on satisfaction.
