Abstract

The coronavirus (COVID-19) is an infectious disease declared a pandemic worldwide by the World Health Organization (WHO). The purpose of the research was to look at the factors in public health behavior that affected the effectiveness of preventing the transmission of the COVID-19 based on the extended Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) and Health Belief Model (HBM). The research was a correlational study. The research applied a purposive sampling method, with 483 respondents coming from various islands in Indonesia. Based on the analysis using Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM), TPB factors like individuals' behavioral intention to follow COVID-19 preventive measures are significantly affected by subjective norm and perceived behavior control. On the other hand, personal attitude does not significantly affect an individual's behavioral intention to follow COVID-19 prevention steps. HBM shows an individual’s behavior intention to follow the COVID-19 preventive measures is significant and directly affected by perceived severity, perceived barrier, perceived self-efficacy, and cues to action. Meanwhile, the perceived susceptibility and perceived benefits do not significantly and directly influence an individual's behavioral intention to follow the COVID-19 preventive measures. The findings from the research can be used to evaluate the effectiveness in several countries in facing the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Desa Sukapura merupakan daerah yang berbatasan langsung dengan Kawasan Pendidikan Telkom, memiliki potensi dalam pemanfaatan sampah plastik. Melakukan proses pencacahan pada sampah plastik adalah salah satu cara menanggulangi sampah plastik dengan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan nilai jual dari sampah plastik tersebut. Potensi pemanfaatan sampah plastik di Desa Sukapura didukung dengan adanya hibah mesin pencacah dan ketersediaan karang taruna sebagai sumber daya manusia. Kondisi sampah plastik yang kotor akan berdampak pada hasil cacahan. Untuk meningkatkan kualitas dari hasil cacahan plastik, diperlukan proses pencucian plastik yang bertujuan menghilangkan kotoran yang melekat pada sampah plastik. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mendukung program pemanfaatan sampah di Desa Sukapura dengan implementasi mesin pencuci plastik atau rotary cleaning machine. Diharapkan dapat menghasilkan cacahan plastik dengan kualitas yang lebih baik dan dapat meningkatkan nilai jual dari hasil cacahan plastik. Hasil cacahan dengan kualitas yang baik kemudian dapat diproses lebih lanjut sebagai bahan baku pembuatan biji plastik.

Abstract

Top Indonesian higher education institution (HEI) has not excelled in education quality in Southeast Asia. The statistics exhibit that only two percent of HEIs comply with requirements of high rank of national accreditation. Lack of management and effective policy of HEIs are the source of low education quality. One of the main reasons is the evaluation, as the basis for decision making, comes from biased measurement. Students, as the consumers in an HEI, are the source of reference for evaluation. Evaluation based on student perspective is important to understand individual learning profiles to formulate policy that meets student needs. This study aims to conduct a preliminary study in understanding the gap in research of higher education quality based on student perspectives that consider systemic approaches such PDCA cycle. We conduct a literature review to map the potential research. The study found five previous studies that conduct quality evaluations involving student perspectives. However, these studies mostly conduct only temporary evaluation, not continuous high frequent measurements. Furthermore, the studies are not supported by an information system which does not lead to a systemic approach. Previous studies may produce biased student evaluation due to the long-time interval between evaluation and schedule of study class. These studies do not take into consideration building a systemic approach of quality evaluation in HEIs.

Abstract

This research was conducted in an enterprise that provides venture capital assistance to its 876 Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) partners to measure and sort the performance of their business. The enterprise wished for a business performance calculation system that is more reliable and utilized more than one criterion. In addition, the enterprise also desired to give rewards to MSMEs with the most excel accomplishment, so they need to know which MSMEs are the most developed among others. This study uses focus group discussions and existing data to obtain the appropriate performance measurement criteria. The determination of the weight of the importance of each criterion was carried out using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method using pairwise comparison techniques and its consistency is measured using the transitive property and consistency ratio. The proposed method is emphasized on ease of use and delivery to stakeholders but still capable of acquiring the performance calculation. The calculation includes the increase or decrease rate of the business performance for each MSME, and after sorting the rating, the most accomplished MSME also can be found. The application of this method also can help the stakeholder to reach consensus swiftly.

Abstract

The challenge that is often faced by companies is how to find solutions that can be used to evaluate the performance of their employees. The purpose of this study is to design a service-based performance appraisal system with a ticket system to support employee performance appraisals in a company. By using this service-based assessment system, performance appraisal can be carried out objectively based on what the employees have done, this is possible because the parts and roles in the company have been mapped, where each role has different services to handle. As the employee has finished doing certain services, the employee will get points according to what has been done. At the end of each month, the company can determine the "Best Employee of the Month" based on the total point data obtained in a certain month, then the appropriate reward or punishment can be given based on their performance.

Abstract

The quality of Indonesia's higher education institutions has not excelled compared to Southeast Asian countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand. Based on 2020 data, the percentage of higher education institutions in Indonesia that have been accredited is 59%. It is crucial to evaluate and improve the factors that affect the quality of higher education institutions based on the student's perspective, the primary customer of higher education institutions. This study aims to evaluate the quality of higher education institutions based on students' satisfaction in real-time. Furthermore, this research will propose a design of an information system that can automate the evaluation process. The findings of this study can be applied to the existing system, providing information and analysis to support the policy-making process.

Abstract

Abstrak-DM Rice Bowl merupakan UMKM yang berdiri pada awal tahun 2021 di Kota Semarang. Bisnis ini bergerak di bidang kuliner dengan menjual rice bowl dengan berbagai macam pilihan saus. Sejauh ini DM Rice Bowl hanya melakukan penjualan produk secara online dengan sistem pre-order. Penjualan produk melalui toko offline tetap menjadi hal yang sangat penting dalam meningkatkan kepercayaan konsumen dan juga dapat meningkatkan penjualan produk. Pada penelitian ini, aspek pasar diteliti dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada 100 responden yang merupakan penduduk Kota Semarang. Hasil penyebaran kuesioner ini menunjukkan pasar potensial dari DM Rice Bowl adalah sebesar 95%, pasar tersedia sebesar 91%. Dan untuk pasar sasaran, DM Rice Bowl menentukan target sebesar 1,9% dari pasar tersedia. Untuk aspek teknis dan aspek finansial menggunakan data sekunder yang didapatkan dari beberapa sumber. Perhitungan kelayakan diproyeksikan selama lima tahun. Hasil perhitungan kelayakan didapatkan MARR sebesar 11,03%, nilai Net Present Value sebesar Rp 310,193,121.57, persentase Internal Rate of Return sebesar 155,94%, dan Payback Period selama 0,41 tahun. Dikarenakan NPV>0, nilai IRR>MARR, dan PBP tidak lebih dari lima tahun, maka pembukaan toko offline DM Rice Bowl dinyatakan layak. Berdasarkan hasil analisis sensitivitas terhadap kenaikan bahan baku, didapatkan nilai interpolasi sebesar 98,07%, sedangkan sensitivitas terhadap penurunan demand didapatkan nilai interpolasi sebesar 54,67%.Kata kunci- DM Rice Bowl, analisis kelayakan, Payback Period (PBP), Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR)

Abstrak- UMKM dimasa pandemic sangatlah merajalela, banyak masyarakat yang diberhentikan dari pekerjaan dan tugasnya sehingga memicu masyarakat untuk membuat suatu usaha demi kelangsungan hidupnya. Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) adalah salah satu hal penting dari perekonomian Indonesia. UMKM Indonesia berkontribusi besar terhadap Produk Domestik Bruto (PDB)Dalam system yang berjalan di UMKM tak sedikit memiliki kekurangan dalam pengelolaan perusahaan nya. Contohnya dalam strategi pemasraan yang digunakan oleh suatu perusahaan pasti berbeda-beda. Abstrak-Scott Barber merupakan barbershop yang berada di Kota Tabanan, Bali. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan owner Scott Barber, diketahui bahwa proses pencatatan pendapatan dan pengeluaran masih menggunakan cara manual menggunakan buku kecil. proses pencatatan keuangan yang masih menggunakan cara manual memiliki beberapa risiko, antara lain proses perhitungan yang memakan waktu lama, dan risiko yang besar terjadi pada saat pencatatan tersebut hilang. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut, tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem pencatatan laporan keuangan berbasis website. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Waterfall karena metode ini melibatkan user dalam setiap tahapannya. Pengujian website dilakukan menggunakan Blackbox testing dan User Acceptance test untuk menguji fungsionalitas sistem terhadap test case yang telah disiapkan. Hasil dari tugas akhir ini adalah sistem pencatatan laporan keuangan berbasis website pada Scott Barber. Kata kunci-Scott Barber, Waterfall, Website, Aplikasi pencatatan laporan keuangan

Abstract

Abstrak-Toko Mas Family merupakan toko jual beli perhiasan emas seperti cincin, gelang dan lain-lain. Toko Mas Family menyediakan perhiasan sehingga masyarakat dapat berinvestasi sekaligus berhias. Penjualan Toko Mas Family pada tahun 2021 tidak mencapai target setiap bulannya. Ada beberapa akar masalah yang menyebabkan penjualan dari Toko Mas Family tidak mencapai target, salah satunya adalah metode strategi bauran komunikasi pemasaran yang masih kurang maksimal. Toko Mas Family menginginkan perbaikan strategi bauran komunikasi pemasaran untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang dihadapi. Perancangan strategi tersebut memakai metode QSPM (Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix). Hasil rancangan adalah berupa alternatif strategi bauran komunikasi pemasaran yang dapat meningkatkan penjualan. Alternatif strategi bauran komunikasi pemasaran yang dapat diimplementasikan Toko Mas Family adalah membuat media sosial untuk melakukan promosi sehingga dapat memperluas pangsa pasar dan meningkatkan penjualan, mengadakan promo minimal pembelian atau penawaran yang menarik untuk meningkatkan daya beli customers, membuat lokasi di maps agar masyarakat mudah menemukan lokasi dan meningkatkan pangsa pasar, memperbanyak jenis emas dari yang kadar rendah sampai tinggi sehingga semua golongan masyarakat dari ekonomi bawah sampai ekonomi atas pun dapat berinvestasi dan melakukan benchmarking kepada pesaing agar dapat selalu menambah model produk sesuai dengan tren terkini.Kata kunci- matriks SWOT, metode QSPM, strategi bauran komunikasi pemasaran.
