Abstract

Di Indonesia, bahasa Arab bukanlah bahasa ibu, sehingga menjadi sebuah tantangan tersendiri bagi para pengajarnya demi tercapainya hasil pembelajaran yang diharapkan. Upaya-upaya inovatif terus dilakukan demi keberlangsungan pembelajaran bahasa Arab yang berkualitas. Salah satu komponen kesuksesan pengajaran bahasa arab adalah guru yang profesional. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan kajian pustaka. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa menurut ontologi, guru bahasa arab profesional adalah yang memenuhi empat kriteria: ahli di bidang linguistik, spesialis di bidang pengajaran bahasa Arab, memiliki pengalaman yang mumpuni, serta aktif mengikuti pelatihan pengajaran bahasa Arab. In Indonesia, Arabic language is not a mother tongue, which poses a particular challenge for its educators in achieving the expected learning outcomes. Innovative efforts continue to be made for the sustainability of quality Arabic language learning. One component of successful Arabic language teaching is a professional teacher. This study uses a qualitative approach through literature review. The results of this study show that according to ontology, a professional Arabic language teacher fulfills four criteria: expertise in linguistic field, specialization in teaching Arabic language, having extensive experience, and actively participating in Arabic language teaching training.

Abstract

إن إتقان المفردات أمر أساسي في اللغة العربية، فبدون إتقان المفردات من المستحيل أن يتمكن شخص ما من التحدث باللغة. لذا، من أجل إتقان المفردات العربية، نحتاج أيضًا إلى أساليب يمكن أن تدعم إتقان المفردات العربية. الهدف من هذا البحث هو شرح مساهمة برنامج إعطاء المفردات في إتقان مفردات اللغة العربية لدى طلاب المدرسة العالية الدينية الخاصة الحكمة 2. استخدم هذا البحث طريقة البحث النوعي الوصفي. استخدمت تقنية جمع البيانات لهذا البحث تقنيات الملاحظة والمقابلة، حيث يتم الحصول على عينات البيانات من ملاحظات الأشخاص الذين يلعبون دورًا في تشغيل برنامج إعطاء المفردات Giving Vocab)). ونتائج الاختبار على الطلاب. أظهرت نتائج هذا البحث أنه في تحقيق هدف إتقان مفردات اللغة العربية، يتم دعم برنامج إعطاء المفردات بوسائل مثل: مجموعة من المفردات العربية، والأخبار العربية، والأغاني العربية، ونتائج اختبار مدى مساهمة البرنامج لدى الطلاب في إتقان مفردات اللغة العربية، أظهرت أن الطلاب يتقنون في المتوسط من جوانب الإتقان الثلاثة، وهي جوانب النطق والمعنى والاشتقاق، بينما في جانب استخدام المفردات يتقنون فقط في المفردات الموجودة في مجموعة المفردات العربية. Mastery of vocabulary is a basic thing in Arabic, without mastery of vocabulary someone can't be able to speak the language. So to master Arabic vocabulary, we also need methods that can support mastery of Arabic vocabulary. This research aims to explain the contribution of the Giving Vocab program to the mastery of Arabic vocabulary for MA Al-Hikmah 2 Religious Program (MAPK) students. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The data collection technique for this research uses observation and interview techniques, where data samples are obtained from observations of people who play a role in the running of the Giving Vocab program and test results on students. The results of this research show that in achieving the goal of mastering Arabic vocabulary, the Giving Vocab program is supported by media such as a collection of Arabic vocabulary, Arabic news, and Arabic songs, and the results of testing the program's contribution to students' mastery of Arabic vocabulary show that that the students on average mastered all three aspects of mastery, namely aspects of pronunciation, meaning, and istiqaq, while in the aspect of vocabulary use only the vocabulary contained in the Arabic vocabulary dictionary. Penguasaan kosakata merupakan suatu hal yang pokok dalam berbahasa Arab, tanpa adanya penguasaan kosakata seseorang tidak mungkin dapat berbahasa. Sehingga dalam rangka menguasai kosakata bahasa Arab, maka diperlukan pula cara yang dapat mendukung penguasaan kosakata bahasa Arab. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan konstribusi dari program Giving Vocab terhadap penguasaan kosakata bahasa Arab siswa MA Al-Hikmah 2 Program Keagamaan (MAPK). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini, menggunakan teknik observasi dan wawancara, dimana sampel data diperoleh dari hasil observasi terhadap para orang yang berperan dalam berjalannya program Giving Vocab dan hasil pengujian terhadap para siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam mencapai tujuan penguasaan kosakata bahasa Arab, program Giving Vocab didukung oleh media-media seperti: kumpulan kosakata bahasa Arab, berita Arab, dan lagu Arab, dan hasil dari pengujian konstribusi program tersebut terhadap penguasaan kosakata bahasa Arab para siswa menunjukkan bahwa para siswa rata-rata menguasai ketiga aspek penguasaan, yaitu aspek pelafalan, makna, dan isytiqaq, sementara pada aspek penggunaan kosakata hanya pada kosakata yang terdapat dalam media kamus kosakata bahasa Arab.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji deiksis persona dalam Quran Surat Ibrahim. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan fokus pada analisis teks Al-Quran dan tafsir Al-Furqan. Temuan penelitian mencakup penggunaan deiksis persona dalam bentuk tunggal dan jamak, baik dalam bentuk bebas maupun terikat, dengan mengacu pada objek seperti Allah SWT, Nabi Ibrahim, dan Bani Israil merupakan rujukan yang sering muncul pada persona pertama. Analisis data mengungkapkan penggunaan deiksis persona untuk menyoroti penghormatan, pengagungan, pengingkaran, dan hubungan antarobjek. Studi ini memberikan gambaran komprehensif tentang penggunaan deiksis persona dalam Surat Ibrahim, menawarkan pemahaman mendalam tentang hubungan linguistik dan pragmatik dalam teks Al-Quran. Implikasi hasil penelitian dapat memperkaya pemahaman mengenai deiksis dan memberikan kontribusi pada kajian pragmatik dan linguistik Al-Quran. This research aims to examine persona deixis in the Quranic Surah Ibrahim. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method with a focus on the analysis of the Quranic text and the Al-Furqan exegesis. The research findings encompass the usage of persona deixis in both singular and plural forms, in both free and bound forms, with reference to objects such as Allah SWT, Prophet Ibrahim, and the Children of Israel frequently serving as first-person references. Data analysis reveals the use of persona deixis to highlight aspects of respect, admiration, denial, and the relationships between objects. This study provides a comprehensive overview of the use of persona deixis in Surah Ibrahim, offering an in-depth understanding of the linguistic and pragmatic relationships within the Quranic text. The implications of the research results can enhance the understanding of deixis and contribute to the study of pragmatic and linguistic aspects of the Quran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pemahaman guru Bahasa Arab terhadap evaluasi pembelajaran di SMA Islam Al Azhar 14 Semarang. Evaluasi adalah proses penting dalam pendidikan yang membantu mengukur efektivitas pembelajaran dan memberikan umpan balik untuk perbaikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Subjek penelitian adalah guru Bahasa Arab yang dipilih berdasarkan kriteria tertentu seperti pengalaman mengajar dan keterlibatan aktif dalam evaluasi pembelajaran. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan panduan semi-terstruktur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru memahami evaluasi sebagai alat untuk mengukur hasil belajar siswa dan mengidentifikasi perkembangan mereka. Guru menggunakan berbagai metode evaluasi seperti tes tulis, tes lisan, praktik langsung, dan proyek, serta menghadapi tantangan dalam pelaksanaannya seperti kurangnya motivasi siswa dan hambatan teknis. Guru mengatasi tantangan ini dengan pendekatan yang menghibur dan relevan serta merasa perlu untuk mendapatkan pelatihan lebih lanjut mengenai evaluasi pembelajaran. Penggunaan teknologi dalam evaluasi juga dianggap membantu meningkatkan motivasi siswa. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman mendalam tentang pentingnya evaluasi dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Arab dan peran vital guru dalam melaksanakannya. This research aims to explore Arabic language teachers' understanding of learning evaluation at Al Azhar 14 Islamic High School Semarang. Evaluation is an important process in education that helps measure the effectiveness of learning and provides feedback for improvement. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The research subjects were Arabic language teachers who were selected based on certain criteria such as teaching experience and active involvement in learning evaluation. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with semi-structured guides. The research results show that teachers understand evaluation as a tool to measure student learning outcomes and identify their development. Teachers use various evaluation methods such as written tests, oral tests, direct practice, and projects, and face challenges in their implementation such as lack of student motivation and technical obstacles. Teachers overcome these challenges with an entertaining and relevant approach and feel the need to receive further training in learning evaluation. The use of technology in evaluation is also considered to help increase student motivation. Overall, this research provides an in-depth understanding of the importance of evaluation in Arabic language learning and the vital role of teachers in implementing it.

Abstract

This study is a descriptive qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The research delves into the concept of Honne-Tatemae used in communication in the anime "Omoi Omoware Furi Furare." The discussion in this study encompasses the application of the Honne-Tatemae concept and its functions within the anime. The data collection technique employed in this research is the note-taking method with descriptive analysis. The findings reveal that the application of Honne-Tatemae in this anime is utilized in various situational contexts, with its functions including avoiding direct conflicts, a desire to maintain social harmony, and self-protection. Keywords: communication; cultural concept; honne tatemae.

Abstract

The poem "أيا من يدعي الفهم" (O You Who Claims Understanding), created by Abu Muhammad Alqosim bin Ali al-Hariri, and later recited by the renowned qari’ Sheikh Mishary Rasyid, provoked various reactions among internet users. Hence, this research aims to analyze the stylistic elements of this poem. Qualitative descriptive methods and content analysis were employed in this study, collecting data through observation, note-taking, and purposive sampling techniques. The findings indicate that the poetic style creates effects such as enhancing faith, self-reflection, satire, and emotional impact. These effects are constructed through the following aspects: (1) phonological aspects, including the harmony of the rhyme at the end of verses and the use of specific rhythmic patterns (shawamit infijariyah and shawait qashirah); (2) Morphological aspects dominated by fi’il madhi and fi’il mudhari’, sarcastically criticizing individuals for their reprehensible actions, and fi’il amr and nahyi for advice and conclusion in the poem; (3) Syntactic aspects involving repetition and ellipsis for reinforcing and expanding on the subjects of criticism; (4) Semantic aspects employing unusual word meanings to captivate the audience's attention; and (5) Imagery aspects creating beauty and coherence through the use of assonance, alliteration, epithets, euphemisms, sarcasm, cynicism, and cause-and-effect coherence. The implications suggest that this work could serve as an alternative form of contemporary preaching (dakwah) and remains relevant in literary works within a modern context.

Abstract

Linguistic structure greatly influences the understanding of the meaning of an utterance. However, in contrast to general discourse, the linguistic structure of the Qur'anic language style has a rich and deep meaning. One of the language styles that has an unusual construct is ahwal mutaʽalliqāt al-fiʽli. Relevance theory is present to reveal the meaning of ahwal mutaʽalliqāt al-fiʽli contained in the verses of the Qur'an so that it becomes evidence to strengthen the miracle of the Qur'an in terms of its language. This research aims to introduce as well as focus on examining more deeply the meanings of ahwal mutta'alliqat al'fi'li in the verses of the Qur'an. The research method used is descriptive-interpretative with Content Analysis model. The approach used is an inductive approach which is then presented descriptively to explain the meaning of ahwal mutaʽalliqāt al-fiʽli based on the principles of relevance theory formulated by Sperber and Wilson. The findings obtained a total of 16 data of ahwal mutaʽalliqāt al-fiʽli from 11 verses of surah al-Mulk which are divided into the categories of omitting fāʽil, omitting maf'ul, giving precedence to maf'ul, giving precedence to jār majrūr, and giving precedence to żaraf. All data are understood by contextual reasoning based on the theory of relevance which is also in line with the rules of balaghah according to Al-Harbi and Al-Hasyimi.

Abstract

The phenomenon of karoshi (overtime at work) or karojisatsu (suicide due to overtime) is a phenomenon that is still unfamiliar to Indonesians. Karoshi is an event that is still a serious problem for the Japanese government. Many people die from karoshi or karojisatsu because of the actions of black companies (ブラック企業・burakku kigyou) in Japan who always pressure their employees to work harder and overtime irregularly so that it has a negative impact on the lives of Japanese people. The purpose of this research is to find out what processes and symptoms or stages precede the occurrence of karoshi or karojisatsu seen from the perspective of the main character of the animation named Akira Tendo. However, he is lucky to be alive and can avoid karoshi or karojisatsu. Because, the world was suddenly attacked by zombies and suddenly he was free from the pressure of the company all this time. From the results of the study, by taking a phenomenological approach, the author can conclude that there are 3 symptoms or stages leading to a person becoming a victim of karoshi due to overtime work, namely: (1) The first stage is the symptom of depression (憂鬱・yuuutsu). (2) The second stage is symptoms of stress (ストレス・sutoresu).  (3) The third stage is depression (うつ病・utsubyou).

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif berbasis fenomenologi yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana fungsi dan peran Nomikai dalam masyarakat Jepang. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana fungsi Nomikai jika dilihat dari drama Izakaya Bottakuri dan apa peran Nomikai dalam bisnis masyarakat Jepang. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah Drama Izakaya Bottakuri karya Shinji Kuma yang berjumlah 11 episode. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah metode simak catat dengan teknik analisisnya adalah analisis konten. Dari drama tersebut diketahui bahwa peran dari Nomikai adalah pembentukan iktan sosial, peningkatan komunikasi, menghapus batasan hierarki, dan pengelolaan stress.

Abstract

This study explores the complex phenomena of academic culture shock that Indonesian students experience while they study in Pakistan. The main objective is to obtain a thorough grasp of the various aspects, contributing factors, and coping mechanisms related to academic culture shock in this particular group of students. In order to do this, the study makes use of well-established theoretical frameworks, such as Collen Ward's ABCs of culture shock paradigm, Rajasekar's model explaining the factors influencing culture shock, and Brislin's theory of cultural adjustment training. The study carefully examines the affective, behavioral, and cognitive aspects of academic culture shock that Indonesian students encounter through the use of qualitative research approaches. Important contributing factors include language obstacles, cultural differences in ethnicity, following new norms and traditions, and adjusting to seasonal changes. Moreover, the study emphasizes the critical role that initiation plays in the process of adaptation, whereby Indonesian students utilize comprehension, memorization, and self-directed task completion as essential coping strategies to negotiate and eventually overcome academic culture shock in the Pakistani educational setting.
