Abstract

Grouped livestock management is one of the characteristic animals raising in Lombok. In the year of 2000, there were 1096 farmers group that had a very potential opportunity to optimize the livestock productions through the crop-livestock systems approach. The assessment of this approach for the irrigated paddy field area has being conducted in the village of Sepakok, sub- district of Pringgarata, district of Lombok Tengah. The objective of the study was to improve the efficiency and sustainability of the crop-livestock system as well as environmentally friendly issues. A total of 112 household farmers were involved in the study, joined in the "Gerak Maju" group farmer with 334 head of cattles and 35 ha paddy filed. Improving farming systems efficiency has been implemented through the technology introduction of rice straw fermentation as cattle feeds, the use of Progesterone Intravaginal Sponges (PIS) for estrous synchronization and compost processing as well as its uses for crips. The results has shown that fermented rice straw could be used as basal feed, given ad-libitum and 5% of native grass from the body weight yield an average daily gain of 290 gr. The use of fermented rice straw has decreased the straw-field in the field after harvesting period, so that it could be storage and used them for the dry season. The use of manure compost could reduce the production cost for anorganic fertilizer and weed. It significantly affected to the vegetative growth of some horticultures. Part of the compost production has been marketed in some areas to give additional income of the farmers. The crop-livestock system approach with cattle based in the irrigated paddy field was recognized as one of the potential systems that could be impemented in Lombok as well as other region with the same agro-ecological zone.   Key words: Crop-livestock systems, fermented rice straw, compost

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengkaji potensi wafer turiang padi dan gamal sebagai sumber pakan ruminansia dalam bentuk wafer. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei 2020 – September 2020. Lokasi penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Lahan Percobaan, Fakultas Pertanian, Unpad dan Laboratoriun Tanaman Makanan Ternak, Fakultas Peternakan. Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh imbangan turiang padi dengan gamal terhadap kualitas fisik wafer turiang dengan RAL yaitu taraf (P1 = 0 % Gamal : 100 % turiang padi, P2 = 5 % Gamal : 95% turiang padi, P3 = 10% Gamal : 90% turiang dan P4 = 15% Rumput lapang : 85% turiang). Turiang padi dan legume Gamal dikeringkan dengan sinar matahari selama 2-3 hari. Setelah itu Turiang padi yang telah kering dicacah menggunakan manual golok dengan ukuran berkisar 2-3 cm. Kemudian, cacahan turiang padi dan Gamal di giling. Kedua bahan pakan tersebut dicampur dengan bahan lain seperti air, dedak padi. Setelah tercampur rata dilakukan pencetakan dengan ukuran 13,5 x 13,5 x 3,5 cm dengan menggunakan cetakan kemudian dikeringkan dengan bantuan oven dan sinar matahari. Kemudian wafer turiang diangkat lalu didinginkan yang kemudian sebagian dari wafer turiang dilakukan uji sifat fisik Hasil percobaan menunjukan bahwa imbangan 15% Gamal dan 85% turiang memberikan hasil penilaian fisik wafer turiang yang baik (Kadar air). Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan zat aditif terhadap karakteristik fisik limbah padat pembuatan tepung aren hasil fermentasi anaerob. Penelitian silakukan secara eksperimental dengan menggunakan rancangan acaak lengkap dengan 5 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Perlakuan tersebut adalah P1 = 5% molasses, P2 5% lumpur kecap, P3 = 1% urea, P4 = 5% molasses + 1% urea, P5 = 5% lumpur kecap + 1% urea. Data yang terkumpula dilakukan analisis dengan uji Kruskal-Wallis. Hasil menunjukan bahwa perlakuan memberikan pengaruh terhadap warna, aroma, tekstur, dan rasa, dengan penggunaan molasses sebanyak 5% memberikan hasil yang terbaik. Kesimpulan, penggunaan molasses 5% memberikan karakteristik fisik terbaik pada fermentasi anaerob pada limbah padat pembuatan tepung aren.

Abstract

ABSTRAKMasalah yang dihadapi dalam dunia pendidikan kita saat ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik, kurangnya peserta didik yang aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Untuk itu sebagai pendidik perlu mencari cara terbaik untuk menyampaikan konsep di kelas sehingga semua peserta didik dapat aktif dan mengingat informasi serta menggunakannya secara baik pula. Pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran ini harus didukung oleh perangkat yang sesuai. Oleh karena itu tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses dan kualitas perangkat pembelajaran kimia berbasis discovery learningyang dihasilkan pada materi larutan penyangga di kelas XI SMA. Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model 4-D dari Thiagarajan. Ujicoba terbatas perangkat pembelajaran berbasis discovery learning ini dilaksanakan di SMAN 6 Maros dengan subjek penelitian sejumlah 24 peserta didik kelas XI IPA. Tekhnik pengumpulan data adalah teknik non tes dan teknik tes. Hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa : (1) Proses pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran menggunakan model 4-D yang meliputi 4 tahap, yaitu : : (a) Tahap pendefenisian (define), (b) tahap perancangan (design), (c) tahap pengembangan (develop), dan (d) tahap penyebaran (disseminate). (2) perangkat pembelajaran bersifat valid, praktis dan efektif. Perangkat pembelajaran berupa RPP, BPD, LKPD, dan THB telah memenuhi kriteria kevalidan karena berada pada kategori “sangat valid”. Perangkat pembelajaran dikatakan praktis karena keterlaksanaan perangkat pembelajaran berada pada kategori “ terlaksana seluruhnya”, respon guru terhadap perangkat berda pada kategori “sangat positif”. Perangkat pembelajaran dikatakan efektif karena telah memenuhi kriteria keefektifan, dengan hasil kemampuan guru mengelola pembelajaran berada pada kategori “sangat tinggi”, aktivitas peserta didik berada pada kategori “sangan baik”, respon peserta didik berada pada kategori “sangat positif”, hasil belajar peserta didik memiliki rata-rata 82,09 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 83,33%, sedangkan peningkatan hasil belajar berdasarkan uji N-gain sebesar 0,81 dengan kriteri tinggi. Kata kunci :   Perangkat pembelajaran, discovery learning, larutan penyangga ABSTRACTThe problem of our education recently is low learning outcomes because less active students in learning process. Therefore, educators need to find the best way to deliver a concept in class so all students are active and able to remember the information and able to use it well. The implementation of learning process must be supported with appropriate tools. Thus, the objective of the study is to examine on buffer solution material produced in grade XI at SMA (Senior High School). The development model used in this research to develop learning tools based on discovery learning is 4-D model by Thiagarajan. The limited test of learning tools based on discovery learning was conducted at SMAN 6 in Maros. The subjects of the study were students with the total of 24 students grade XI IPA. The results of the study reveal that (1) the learnig tools development process by employing 4-D model covered 4 stages, namely (a) define, (b) design, (c) development, (d) and dessemination; (2) the learning tools produced was valid, practical, and effective. The learning tools was stated as it had met validity criteria included RPP, BPD, LKPD, and THB and each was in very good category. The learning tools were stated as practical because its implementation was in completely implemented category, the teacher’s response on the tools was in very positive category. Abstract

Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui; (i) gambaran pelaksanaan standar kompetensi guru dalam menerapkan model pembelajaran berbasis kurikulum 2013 di SMK-SMAK Makassar; (ii) gambaran penerapan model pembelajaran kurikulum 2013 oleh guru pada proses pembelajaran kimia di SMK-SMAK Makassar. Metode pengumpulan data melalui observasi setiap pertemuan di kelas; wawancara dan dokumentasi berupa catatan kecil dan rekaman video. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa; (i) gambaran penerapan standar kompetensi guru dalam menerapkan model pembelajaran kurikulum 2013 di SMK-SMAK Makassar menunjukan kriteria kompetensi sangat kompeten; pada kriteria kompetensi sangat kompeten dengan mengedepankan aspek-aspek kompetensi guru profesional, sedangkan (ii) gambaran pengamatan implementasi model pembelajaran kurikulum 2013 pada saat proses pembelajaran kimia di SMK-SMAK Makassar menunjukan kategori keterlaksanaan sangat baik.
