Abstract

Grouped livestock management is one of the characteristic animals raising in Lombok. In the year of 2000, there were 1096 farmers' group that had a very potential opportunity to optimize the livestock productions through the crop-livestock systems approach. The assessment of this approach for the irrigated paddy field area has being conducted in the village of Sepakok, sub- district of Pringgarata, district of Lombok Tengah. The objective of the study was to improve the efficiency and sustainability of the crop-livestock system as well as environmentally friendly issues. A total of 112 household farmers were involved in the study, joined in the "Gerak Maju" group farmer with 334 head of cattles and 35 ha paddy filed. Improving farming systems efficiency has been implemented through the technology introduction of rice straw fermentation as cattle feeds, the use of Progesterone Intravaginal Sponges (PIS) for estrous synchronization and compost processing as well as its uses for crips. The results has shown that fermented rice straw could be used as basal feed, given ad-libitum and 5% of native grass from the body weight yield an average daily gain of 290 gr. The use of fermented rice straw has decreased the straw-field in the field after harvesting period, so that it could be storage and used them for the dry season. The use of manure compost could reduce the production cost for anorganic fertilizer and weed. It significantly affected to the vegetative growth of some horticultures. Part of the compost production has been marketed in some areas to give additional income of the farmers. The crop-livestock system approach with cattle based in the irrigated paddy field was recognized as one of the potential systems that could be impemented in Lombok as well as other region with the same agro-ecological zone.   Key words: Crop-livestock systems, fermented rice straw, compost

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of communication skill training on emotional intelligence at student of Al Hafidz Qur’an boarding schools in Palembang. The population includes all the student of Al Hafidz Qur’an boarding schools, in the school year 2011-2012. The random samples consist of 30 students who had a low score in emotional intelligence. The samples were divided into two groups of 15 students as the experimental groups were given training in communication skills for 6 sessions, while 15 students as a control group did not provide training in communication skills. The results showed that communication skills training significantly improves of emotional intelligence.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to examine empirically the effect between emotional intelligence on job performance among the employees at La Tansa Mashiro Higher Education in Rangkasbitung. The subjects of this research were 76 employees selected as samples by using total sampling technique taken from the overall population of 76 employees. The data of each variable were collected separately by the respondents’ filling in a questionnaire. The effect technique was applied to analyze the data which had been previously treated with the regressive and correlation procedure. The result proved that the employees’ job performance was positively affected by the emotional intelligence in La Tansa Mashiro Higher Education in Rangkasbitung. The findings suggest that the variation of the job performance of the employees might have been affected by emotional intelligence.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to examine empirically the effect between communications interpersonal on work motivation among the employees Regional Financial Revenue Management Official in Lebak Regional. The subjects of this research were 40 employees selected as samples by using proportion sampling technique taken from the overall population of 67employees. The data of each variable were collected separately by the respondents’ filling in a questionnaire. The effect technique was applied to analyze the data which had been previously treated with the regressive and correlation procedure. The result proved that the employees’ work motivation was positively affected by the communications interpersonal in Financial Revenue Management Official. The findings suggest that the variation of the work motivation of the employees might have been affected by communications interpersonal.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to examine empirically the effect between compensation on job satisfaction among the employees at La Tansa boarding school in Cipanas, Lebak regional. The subjects of this research were 43 employees selected as samples by using proportion sampling technique taken from the overall population of 43 employees. The data of each variable were collected separately by the respondents’ filling in a questionnaire. The effect technique was applied to analyze the data which had been previously treated with the regressive and correlation procedure. The result proved that the employees’ job satisfaction was positively affected by the compensation in La Tansa boarding school in Cipanas, Lebak regional. The findings suggest that the variation of the job satisfaction of the employees might have been affected by compensation.

The subjects of this research were 40 employees selected as samples from the overall population of 64 employees. The data of each variable were collected separately by the respondents’ filling in a questionnaire. The effect technique was applied to analyze the data which had been previously treated with the regressive and correlation procedure. The result proved that the employees’ job performance was positively affected by the leadership in Technical Implementation Unit Department of Revenue and Fiscal Management in Rangkasbitung. The findings suggest that the variation of the job performance of the employees might have been affected by leadership.
