Abstract

This research aims to identify junior high school science e-modules based on socio scientific issues (SSI) through literature review. The method used was systematic literature review. The database used to search for literature uses two digital libraries namely Google Scholar, Scopus and Mendeley Web. In order to make the selected literature relevant, the search used the keywords "junior high school science e-modules, socioscientific issues and socio scientific issues". Furthermore, filtering was carried out to obtain scientific article publications from 2016 to 2021 that discuss junior high school science e-modules based on socio scientific issues (SSI) with inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results of research from 17 journals that have been synthesized with a time span of 2016-2021, the development of junior high school science e-modules and socio-scientific issues or socio scientific issues (SSI) mostly measure ability skills regarding concept understanding, while the material that is more widely raised is Natural Science material, where the material applied in the study is broader in scope.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi e-modul IPA SMP berbasis socio scientific issues (SSI) melalui kajian literatur. Metode yang digunakan ialah tinjauan pustaka sistematis (Systematic Literature Review). Database yang digunakan untuk mencari literatur menggunakan dua digital library yaitu Google Scholar, Scopus dan Mendeley Web. Agar literatur yang dipilih relevan, pencarian menggunakan kata kunci “e-modul IPA SMP, isu sosiosaintifik dan socio scientific issues ”. Selanjutnya melakukan penyaringan untuk mendapatkan publikasi artikel ilmiah sejak tahun 2016 hingga 2021 yang membahas mengenai e-modul IPA SMP berbasis socio scientific issues (SSI) dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Hasil penelitian dari 17 jurnal yang telah disintesis dengan rentang waktu 2016-2021, pengembangan e-modul IPA SMP dan isu sosiosaintifik atau socio scientific issues (SSI) lebih banyak mengukur keterampilan kemampuan mengenai pemahaman konsep, sedangkan materi yang lebih banyak diangkat yakni materi Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, dimana materi yang diterapkan dalam penelitian tersebut lebih luas cakupannya.

Abstract

In Imam Al-Ghazali's view, students have their own potentials to achieve moral and spiritual perfection and the role of educators is one that is very important and influential in helping them achieve this goal, educators basically must focus on the spiritual and moral development of students. In this journal, we describe Al-Ghazali's views on the potential of students, spiritual and moral development, as well as educational strategies that can be taken from the perspective of Imam Al-Ghazali. This research was conducted using qualitative methods, namely by analyzing and collecting and using literature studies. Learners are people who are experiencing a period of growth and development, especially physically and mentally. Imam Al-Ghazali's perspective on students and Islamic education is still relevant and can certainly be applied in the context of modern education. This can help educators to develop educational strategies that are holistic and focus on the spiritual and moral development of students. Keywords: Learners, Educators, Islamic Education

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine FoMO (Fear of Missing Out) behavior based on levels of self-esteem and self-concept among university students. This research is correlational, employing multiple regression analysis. The sample consists of 313 first-year students from the Faculty of Education, Universitas Negeri Padang. The findings indicate that self-esteem among students is in the low category, with a total percentage of 47.4%. Similarly, self-concept is also in the low category, with a total percentage of 45.2%. On the other hand, FoMO among students is in the high category, with a total percentage of 69%. There is a negative and significant relationship between self-esteem and FoMO, as well as between self-concept and FoMO. Additionally, there is a simultaneous relationship between self-esteem, self-concept, and FoMO. The implications of the study suggest that the university needs to design guidance and counseling programs focused on enhancing students' self-esteem and self-concept to prevent the emergence of FoMO
