Abstract

This research titled “Change Some Properties of Chemical and Biological Ultisol and Nutrient Uptake of N P K Plant and Production of Fresh Fruit Bunches Marked Palm Oil Mill Effluent”. This research held from April till December 2014. The results showed that the application LCPKS can improve nutrient P , but has not been a significant influence on the chemical properties of the other on the ground in oil palm plantations. Liquid Waste Award mills are capable of increasing the population of micro- organisms in the soil first and third day of observation.  Results of weighing directly on the ground show that the weight of fresh fruit bunches (TBS) reached an average of 30.45 kg per bunch in the treatment on non LCPKS and weighs TBS averaged 21.48 kg per bunch . This shows that LCPKS can increase the weight of TBS as well as production

Abstract

ABSTRACT: Department of transportation is implementing elements of Manado city Manado CityGovernment, led by the head of Department, and responsible to the Mayor through the Regional Secretary(Minister of the Interior decision/autonomous region no. 55 in 2000). Follow-up the decision haspublished regulations Manado number 04 of 2008 about the Organization and the work area of the city ofManado, Manado city and regulation number 19 in 2008 about the details of the duties and functions ofthe Office of the city of Manado in the relationship of carrying out the functions of the service to thecommunity. Department of transportation supporting role as Manado city in creating organizationrelationships ensure the safety, security, public order and the smooth comfort as well as environmentalsustainability.This study uses qualitative methods, data sources or informants research as many as 10 peoplewere taken from several elements, namely the Department of transportation employee Manado 3 persons,owner of microlet 4 people and 3 people microlet user community. Data collection using observation,interviews, and documentation.Conclusion based on the results of this research, it can be recommended in general suggestionsfor the Department of transportation the city of Manado, the effectiveness of the Service relationship ofManado city is still pretty good, to enhance the effectiveness of the Department of transportation should begood increases the production of standards and the feasibility of a public transport vehicle to vehicle inmicrolet extend stretch permit has a decent road standards and make convenience for users of publictransport. Quality of work should be improved again in this case about extension of the public transportroute permit is expected to Transport service to be more selective and further improve the qualitystandards of the PC in public transit ride. Efficiency also needs to be improved, i.e. public transport testingmicrolet if just past standard test feasibility of KIR can be seen many vehicles that are not worthy of theroad still passes the test of KIR, better than the Department of transportation's own re-testing against themicrolet public transport will extend the public transport route permit in order to generate a convenientpublic transit vehicles. the satisfaction of the society is in the specified test standards of microlet publictransport last so if you want people to feel satisfied with the performance of the Department oftransportation in this permit extension routes should improve testing the feasibility of an above standardof yesteryear. The service has been good but needs to be improved any more time in processing theextension of route license, because the owner of the vehicle also feels no need to wait long to getpermission for these routes and also affects the intentions of owners of public transport vehicles toannually renew stretch licenses.Key Words: Effectiveness, Department Of Transportation, Route Clearance.

Abstract

Coal mining activities can cause problems from for environment, especially the mining with surface mining method producing acid mine water. To solve these problems, we need to restore the output water conditionbefore it flows into the public waters so it can meet the environmental quality standard in accordance with the prevailing laws and regulations. In this research, coal mining waste management was done by phytoremediation technique. This technique is the use water plants to give wastewater treatment. Water plants was used in this study was Kiambang (Salvinianatans), Apu wood plant (Pistiastratatiotes), and water hyacinth (Eichhorniacrassipers). This research observed the effect of time on the absorption of iron (Fe) and manganese (Mn) and the species of plant was used as phytoremediation agent. The results of the study discovered that the highest metal absorption in plants (phytoremediation agents) for 30 days for Mangan (Mn) parameter was water hyacinth (Eichhorniacrassipers) and the most absorption agent for iron was Kiambang (Salvinianatans) while based on measurement of metal content in the wastewater of mining, water hyacinth (Eichhorniacrassipers) was the most effective agent to absorb the iron (Fe) and Kiambang (Salvinianatans) absorbed Mangan (Mn) the most.

Abstract

Paripurna et al, 2017. Response of Lime Application to Some Soil Chemical Properties of Tidal Swamp Land. JLSO 6(1):59-70.Tidal swamp land of Banyu Urip Village Banyuasin District South Sumatera Province has a pH 4.5, 4.96 cmolkg-1 Al-exch, >20% Al saturation, low Ca and Mg availableity and contain Pyrite. This study analyzed response of lime application to some soil chemical properties of tidal swamp land. Lime used was dolomite. The research was conducted on April 2017.Lime dosages consisted of 0.00 ton ha-1, 0.81 ton ha-1, 1.63 ton ha-1, 2.45 ton   ha-1, 3.26 ton ha-1 and 4.07 ton ha-1 respectively mixed to 10 kg soil and placed to polybags than incubated for 7 days.Variables measured were soil pH, K-exch, Ca-exch, Mg-exch, Al-exch, CEC, H-exch and Al saturation. The results showed that lime with 3.26 ton ha-1 dosage gived best results by increased Mg-exch up to 0.85 cmolkg-1 and   decreased H-exch down to 1.14 cmolkg-1, while lime with 4.07 ton ha-1 dosage gived best results by increased soil pH up to 4.95, K-exch 0.64 Cmolkg-1, Ca-exch 2.18 cmolkg-1, and CEC 15.23 cmolkg-1, also decreased Al-exch down to 1.96 cmolkg-1 and Al saturation down to 12.87%. Lime as an ameliorant to acidic soil is effective to increase soil nutrients, decrease soil acidity, Al-exch and Al saturation that influenced by fertilization.

Abstract

Nowadays, the production of rainbow fabric as a traditional fabric of Palembang city has been grown rapidly. Commonly, the wastewater as the by-product of rainbow fabric production is discharged directly to domestic channels without any previous wastewater treatment. This research was aimed to evaluate the presence of Cu and total Cr heavy metal in the area of rainbow fabric industrial center in Tuan Kentang Village, Sebrang Ulu I Sub Distric, Palembang. The Cu and total Cr polluted in the collected wastewater sample was analyzed by using atomic absorption spectrometry method with wet destruction technique. The results indicated that the area of Tuan Kentang villages is contributing metal contaminants distribution and accumulation to nature.

Liquid organic fertilizer (Poc) from tofu liquid waste with banana hump decomposer in pokcay plant growth. In: Herlinda S et al. (Eds.), Prosiding Seminar Nasional Lahan Suboptimal ke-10 Tahun 2022, Palembang  27 Oktober 2022. pp. 129-135.  Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).Tofu liquid waste can be used as a new alternative that can be used as liquid organic fertilizer because in the tofu liquid waste it has various nutrients needed for the plant growth process. Based on the research, it shows that the nutrient content in tofu liquid waste before and after liquid fertilizer is made does not meet the standard of liquid fertilizer. To improve the quality of tofu liquid waste as liquid fertilizer, one of them is the addition of local microorganisms (MOL) from banana hump. The specific purpose of the study was to determine the effect of liquid organic fertilizer from tofu liquid waste with the addition of a banana hump decomposer on pokcay plants. Liquid organic fertilizer is one of the efforts to improve the physical and chemical properties of the soil, one of which is Ultisol, so it is expected to increase the growth of pokcay plants to be applied. Ultisols include soils that have very low nutrients and high soil acidity. Poor macronutrient content. Therefore, researchers made efforts so that ultisols could increase the availability of soil nutrients. Liquid organic fertilizer has many advantages, namely the ease of application to soil and plants, which only needs to be watered. The results showed that there was an effect of the dose of liquid organic fertilizer sprinkled on the soil planted with pokcay on the growth, namely plant height, number of leaves, leaf green level, wet weight and dry weight.

Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).The study aimed to identify physical qualities liquid fertilizer ( biourine ) goat by the addition of various types of decomposer.The materials used in the research areu urine goat, EM-4, banana excrescence  and feces goats. This study conducted in ekperimental with 4 treatment by 3 deuteronomy consisting of  PO(urine goats + mol banana excescence), P2(1 urine goat + mol feces goats), P3 (urin goats+  mol EM-4). Parameter that measured in research is the quality of the physical namely the odor  , pH , temperature and the color of the data obtained analyzed in deskriptip. The research results show that treatment of temperature at P0 34oC, treatment P1,  P2 and P3 of 32oC.Color biourine treatment P0 is reddishblack and P1, P2 and P3  is reddishblack, black concentrated. Odorbiourine goat  treatment P0 is very stinging and P1, P2,  and P3 is stinging. Ph around 7,67-8,29 . treatment.Conclusion is the banana mol  excrescence, mol feces goats and EM-4 can fix in soil as media plant.
