Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of Planning, Organizing, Leading, Controlling (POLC) in the welding training program to improve the work readiness of students at the Nusa Citra Indonesia course and training institution. This welding training program is organized based on the experience of LKP Nusa Citra Indonesia and the local community's need for training programs that are able to provide expertise or skills that can improve job readiness. This research approach is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of one leader, one manager, one instructor, one student and one graduate of the welding training program of the Nusa Citra Indonesia training and training institute. The analysis of the research obtained shows that (1) the planning of the welding training program is carried out on the basis of identifying community needs to improve work readiness and expertise; (2) the organization is adjusted to the expertise required by the institution; (3) the role of the owner of the institution as a leader to lead and motivate his employees so that the plans that have been prepared run according to the direction and achieve the goals of the institution; (4) supervision is carried out by observing directly or indirectly as well as viewing daily reports on lessons that have been implemented; (5) there are inhibiting factors that hinder students in understanding welding training materials and there are supporting factors that can increase students' work readiness.

Abstract

Abstrak: Permasalahan yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana upaya pemanfaatan media pembelajaran tiga dimensi pada pelajaran matematika dan yang kedua apa faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam memanfaatkan media pembelajaran tiga dimensi pada pelajaran matematika di kelas IV Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 1 Toli-Toli. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik lebih mudah memahami materi pelajaran matematika khususnya pada materi bangun ruang. Pemanfaatan media pembelajaran tiga dimensi sebagai sumber pengajaran dapat membantu peningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran matematika, pemanfaatan media pembelajaran tiga dimensi sebagai alat bantu mengajar sangat memudahkan peserta didik dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang ingin dicapai. Pemanfaatan media pembelajaran tiga dimensi dapat mempermudah seorang guru dalam menyampaikan materi yang diajarkan dan membuat peserta didik menjadi lebih aktif dan peserta didik tidak bingung terkait dengan materi yang dipelajarinya. dalam hal ini bahwa pemanfaatan media tersebut sebagai sumber pengajaran dapat memberikan dampak yang positif bagi peserta didik. Faktor pendukung dalam pemanfaatan media pembelajaran tiga dimensi sebagai sumber pengajaran yaitu lengkapnya media pembelajaran tersebut di sekolah. Kesesuaian antara materi yang ingin diajarkan dengan media pembelajaran yang ingin dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber pengajaran dan media tersebut dapat dibuat sendiri oleh seorang guru. Faktor penghambatnya yaitu proses pembuatan media pembelajatan tersebut memerlukan waktu yang cukup lama. Implikasi penelitian adalah sebaiknya guru dapat terus menerus memanfaatkan media pembelajaran tiga dimensi sebagai sumber pengajaran pada materi-materi yang memang memerlukan media sebagai alat bantu mengajar karena dengan dimanfaatkannya media tersebut peserta didik menjadi lebih mudah memahami materi dan peserta didik menghayal dengan materi-materi yang disampaikan.

Abstract

A learning culture makes a considerable contribution in welcoming the new millennium era because the abilities developed through a learning culture are physical and spiritual abilities. The development of these physical and spiritual abilities includes: in terms of knowledge, skills, prowess, life values, attitude, dedication, and discipline. Therefore, our learning culture is an effort to answer challenges to problems that arise. Therefore, the learning culture must be carried out optimally. This research used qualitative research, with data data collection techniques includes observation, interviews, and documentation, while the data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The study results show that in forming a learning culture at a State Senior High School, such curricular activities include: Instilling religious and disciplinary character in preliminary activities, instilling religious and disciplinary character in core activities, and Instilling a religious and disciplined learning culture in closing activities. Cultivating a culture of religious learning and discipline through habituation in daily activities, namely: getting used to time discipline, habituation of congregational noon prayers at school, increasing a sense of care and courtesy, as well as in extracurricular activities. Learning culture is a good habit that is tried to be done as habituation, and then it will become a habit that continues to be carried out daily. In this case, the teacher applies it in two ways, namely when learning takes place and extracurricular so that the culture of religious learning and discipline sticks and is integrated into student behavior.
