Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembatasan pakan pada puyuh petelur (Coturnix coturnix japonica) terhadap produksi telur fase awal produksi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 08 September 2021 – tanggal 08 Desember 2021 di Kandang Bapak Amiril Mukmin. Di Desa Tanjungsari, Kecamatan Karangrejo, Kabupaten Tulungagung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimental (percobaan lapang) dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 6 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan, perlakuan dengan pembatasan pakan sebanyak P1: Pakan komersial 18 g/ekor/hari, P2: Pakan komersial 20 g/ekor/hari, P3: pakan komersial 22 g/ekor/hari, P4: Pakan komersial 24 g/ekor/hari, P5: Pakan komersial 26 g/ekor/hari dan P6: Pakan komersial 28 g/ekor/hari. Jika terjadi perbedaan yang nyata antar perlakuan, maka akan dilanjutkan dengan Uji Jarak Berganda Duncan’s. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembatasan pakan pada puyuh petelur berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap produsi telur fase awal produksi. Nilai rataan QDP (%) P1=33,42, P2=44,52, P3=55,28, P4=65,95, P5=68,56, P6=70,52. Nilai rataan bobot telur (g/butir) P1=10,00, P2=10,12, P3=10,66, P4=10,74, P5=10,80, P6= 10,94. Nilai rataan massa telur (g/ekor/hari) P1=3,39, P2=4,60, P3=6,00, P4= 7,27, P5=7,53, P6=7,88. Hasil ini bisa disimpulkan bahwa pembatasan pakan pada P2 sebanyak 20 g/ekor/hari menghasilkan QDP (44,52%), bobot telur (10,12 g/butir) dan massa telur (4,60 g/ekor/hari). Hasil ini bisa disimpulkan bahwa pembatasan pakan pada pada P2 sebanyak 20 g/ekor/hari menghasilkan QDP, bobot telur yang masih sesuai dengan standart untuk burung puyuh awal produksi, sedangkan untuk hasil massa telur lebih kecil dari standart burung puyuh awal produksi.

Abstract

Mojokerto Regency East Java Province is characterized by a very varied geographical situation ranging from lowland to upland (upland). In general the two regions have different environmental characteristics. Lowland temperature 31-34 oC, has an open expanse, rarely have trees and high buildings, so wind speed is relatively high. High temperature 25-28 oC, lots of forest, low wind speed. The research was conducted in Broiler Chicken Breeders in Mojokerto Regency, East Java Province. Research location at high plateau in District of Trawas and lowland in District of Trowulan. Technical implementation of research conducted by survey technique. The variables of this research are feed consumption, weight gain (PBB), Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR), and mortality. The analysis method to know the difference of broiler chicken production performance which is maintained in highland and lowland is used t-test (SPSS), to know non finasial aspect, it is used descriptive method, while to explain profit and feasibility of laying duck business used net income calculation (π) , R / C, BEP, and Rentability. Management of broiler chicken maintenance in the lowlands is better when compared with the management of broiler chickens on the plateau. The appearance of broiler chicken production maintained in the highlands and lowlands did not differ significantly

Abstract

Penelitian mengenai “Pengaruh pemberian sari buah mengkudu (Morinda citrifolia linn) dalam air minum dan frekuensi pemberiannya terhadap performa ayam broiler” telah dilaksanakan pada tanggal 1 Januari 2016 sampai 4 Februari 2016 di Desa ngasem, Kecamatan Gurah, Kabupaten Kediri. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian sari buah mengkudu (Morinda citrifolia linn) dalam air minum dan frekuensi pemberiannya terhadap performa ayam broiler. Metode yang digunakan dalm penelitian ini adalah Faktorial Rancangan Acak Lengkap (Faktorial RAL) yang terdiri dari 8 kombinasi perlakuan, dimana masing – masing kombinasi perlakuan diulang sebanyak 4 kali. Sari buah mengkudu yang ditambahkan ke dalam air minum sebagai berikut : 0 ml dalam liter air minum (M0), 1,5 ml dalam liter air minum (M1), 3 ml dalam liter air minum (M2) dan 4,5 ml dalam liter air minum (M3) dengan 2 macam frekuensi pemberian yaitu frekuensi pemberian 1 kali (F1) dan frekuensi pemberian 2 (F2). Variabel yang diamati dalam penelitian ini konsumsi pakan, bobot badan akhir dan konversi pakan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa dosis dan frekuensi pemberian sari buah mengkudu (Morinda citrifolia linn) dalam air minum memperbaiki performa ayam broiler, akan tetapi perlakuan yang berpengaruh hanyalah dosis pemberian sari buah mengkudu saja, yang meliputi bobot badan akhir dan konversi pakan, namun tidak meningkatkan konsumsi pakan. Disarankan untuk menggunakan dosis pemberian sari buah mengkudu (Morinda citrifolia linn) yaitu 4,5 ml setiap 1 liter air minum untuk memberikan hasil terbaik terhadap performa ayam broiler

Abstract

Research about "The Effect of turmeric (Curcuma longa L) and temulawak (Curcuma xanthorrhiza Roxb)juice supplemented in drinking water on quailmale performance" was conducted on May 24 until 27 April 2017 in Duwet Vilage, Wates District, Kediri Regency.The purpose of this research was to know the effect of turmeric (Curcuma longa L) and temulawak (Curcuma xanthorrhiza Roxb)juice in drinking water to the performance of quail male The experiment method assigned to Factorial Randomized Design Complete consisting of 6 treatment combinations and 3 replications. Turmeric and temulawak juice into drinking water as a supplement: Turmeric juice (S1) and temulawak juice (S2) with 3 kinds of dosage of dose 2.5 ml (D1), dose 3,5 ml (D2) and dose 4, 5 ml (D3). The Parameters observed in this study drinking water consumption, feed consumption, body weight gain and feed conversion. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that the application of saffron juice (Curcuma longa L) and temulawak (Curcuma xanthorrhiza Roxb) to drinking water to the performance of quailmale, showed good effect on temulawak juice alone, which includes drinking water consumption and feed conversion, Feed intake and body weight gain, whereas at the dose of good effect on dose of 2.5ml, although the statistical analysis has no effect and on the treatment combination there is no significant difference to the performance of the male quail. The provision of saffron juice (Curcuma longa L) and temulawak (Curcuma xanthorrhiza Roxb) is recommended to provide temulawak juice supplement with dose of 2.5ml every 1 liter to give the best result to quail performance as it can improve (FCR) Feed Converation Ratio, and should be done research Go about giving turmeric juice and temulawak with level> 4.5ml every 1 liter water

Abstract

The aims of this study was to determine the organoleptic quality of chicken abon who received different amounts of peanut substitution (Arachis hypogaelig L.). The study was done in the farm laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Kadiri Islamic University at 14-21 September 2014 Material used in this research was chicken abon who were given peanuts substitution treatment. Methods used in this research was the experiments method with Complete Random Design (RAL). Treatment of this research was the difference concentration of peanuts consisting of 4 treatment: K0: 250g chicken; K1: 225g chicken + 25g peanut = 8%; K2: 200g chicken + 50g peanuts = 16%; K3: 175g chicken + 75g peanuts = 24%; K4: 150g chicken + 100g peanuts = 32%. Organoleptic test of every panelist given a tray contains10 gr abon and water. Material assessed by the panelist presented to describe flavor, smell, color, and texture. The results of this research showed the addition of peanutsgive significant infuence (P<0.01) against odor, color and flavor of chicken abon.The average level of consumer’s preference test on odor start of the highest scores until lowest respectively is: F0 = 6.540; F1 = 6.328; F3 = 6.134; F2 = 6.100; F4= 5.994. The average level of consumer’s preference test on the color of the highest scores until lowest respectively was: F1 = 6.560; F0 = 6,500; F2 = 6.360; F4 = 6.260; F3 = 6.060. As for the average level of consumers preference test on the flavor of the highest scores until lowest respectively is: F0 = 6.606; F1 = 6.206; F3 = 6.146; F2 = 6,080; F4= 5.772. The addition of peanuts do not effect significantly (P>0.05) against texture of chicken abon. The average level of consumer’s preference from highest until lowest respectively is: F2 = 6.220; F3 = 6,200; F0 = 6.160; F1 = 6.040; F4 = 6,000 Based on this research done so it is recommended that the addition of peanuts to make chicken abon can be done by a dose of 8 % 90 to yielding an odor, color and flavor abon that favored by consumers.

Abstract

The objective of the study was to determine the effect of bamboo leaf on influence rabbit doe milk production and kits mortality during 3 weeks first of age. Thirty six does aged 6-12 months, divided into three blocks, of four treatment diets, were used in our replicity. The diet treatments used bamboo leaf meal: 0% (P0), 2% (P1), 4% (P2), and 6% (P3). The parameters observed were: dry matter intake, doe’s milk production, kits mortality, and kit as level: body weight gain. The results showed that supplementation of bamboo leaf meal increased (P < 0,05) dry matter intake whereas doe milk production, kits mortality, body weight gain of kits during 3 weeks experiment were not affected by bamboo leaf meal supplementation
