Abstract

The use of AI in language education has been widely discussed especially in identifying the teachers’ ability in utilizing AI in language teaching as well as how teachers perceive the utilization of AI are significant. To address these needs, the researchers used a TPACK survey instrument and semi-structured interview to assess 6 English teachers' ability to use AIEd at Islamic University of Ahmad Dahlan. Findings show that there are several challenges faced by the users of AIEd in English language courses such as (1) limited technological knowledge, (2) lack of training, (3) limited access to technological resources, (4) student skill levels, (5) policy and administrative constraints, as well as (6) curriculum changes and needs. Overall, the application of AIEd in language teaching in UIAD has the potential to significantly enhance learning outcomes for English learners by providing personalized, adaptive, and engaging learning experiences supported by data-driven insights and continuous improvement.

Abstract

This research discussed how the use number head together to improve thestudents’ ability in reading. This research used quasi experimental design that applied a pretest and post-testdesign. The data was analyzed by using t-test (spssprograme). The population of thisresearch was the X grade students of SMA Negeri 2 Parepare in academic year2014/2015. There were two classes, a class for experimental class and a class for controlclass. It utilized cluster random sampling technique. The number of each class was 30students. The instrument used in this research was reading test (narrative text) use ofnumber head together (Nht) learning model. The result of this research was a significant difference between experimental groupand control group. This indicates the mean score of the post-test of experimental groupwas 84,25 while that of the control group was 77,56. Moreover, maen score of pre testwas 61,50 in experimental group and 64,75 in control group ,it means that H1 wasacceptable and the statistical hypothesis of Ho was rejected. it means that Using NHTsignificant develops the students’ ability in reading.

Abstract

The study deals with a background of problems that still lack the ability of learners to receive learning because of invalid materials, impractical methods and ineffective material delivery. One way to overcome the problem is to change the learning model so that learners can receive learning well. The study aims to solve the problem of learners' learning methods and to improve the learning performance of learners with plomp study models. The study is done with a design design of learning, a plomp study model consisting of a pleminary research, phototyping phase, and enforcing phase with a valid, practical, and effective teaching device. This study is based on the development of the plomp study model with a sample of thirty students at the country's in 12 sinjai high school, which is an improvement in the study of islamic trainees, especially those being tested with islamic test analyses.

Abstract

Vocabulary teaching, especially in early childhood, must be emphasized, because having sufficient vocabulary will make it easier for children to communicate. The Lontara script is a regional language that is now almost forgotten by the younger generation; therefore, this research tries to integrate the Lontara script in learning English vocabulary. The type of research used in this research is quantitative research with experimental methods. In this study, researchers used the One-Group Pre-Test-Post-Test Design. The data obtained can be interpreted to be in positive ranks, with an average value (mean ranks) equal to 24.50, and a total value (sum of ranks) equal to 1176.00. This means that there is an increase in post-test scores after treatment, which means that the integration of Lontara Bugis script in learning English vocabulary is effective in improving understanding of English vocabulary for fifth-grade students at MI Darul Abrar Balle Village, MIS Arrahman Labuaja, and MIS UKI Siputanre Cakkela, which are in Kahu District, Bone Regency, South Sulawesi Province.
