Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries that is at the meeting of three plates called the Ring of Fire, which has the impact of Indonesia becoming a country that has the potential to experience disasters, one of which is an earthquake. This research aims to increase the preparedness of students with intellectual disabilities in facing earthquake disasters while indoors by using animated videos. The approach in this research is One Group Pretest and PostTest Design and processed using the Wilcoxon test. The research subjects were 3 people who were students with intellectual disabilities at SMALB at SKh Pandita. The data collection technique used is a test. Based on the results of the analysis using the Wilcoxon test formula, it shows that Tcount = 0 and based on the critical value for the Wilcoxon test at a significance level of 0.05 with a total of N = 3, Ttable = 6.313, then H0 is rejected because Tcount <Ttable, meaning the hypothesis of using animated videos in Learning about earthquake disaster mitigation has proven to be influential in increasing preparedness in facing earthquake disasters.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the problems that the researchers found in SKh Idaman Hati Tangerang City, namely in children with intellectual disabilities in class V in learning the introduction of numbers 1-5. This study aims to determine whether the use of matching box learning media has a significant effect in increasing the ability to recognize numbers at the stage of mentioning numbers 1-5 children with intellectual disabilities. The type of research used is experimental research with Single Subject Research. Data collection techniques used, namely observation, documentation, and instruments. Subjects involved in this study amounted to 1 child. The results showed that the ability to mention numbers 1-5 children with intellectual disabilities got an average percentage or mean level from the baseline-1 phase (A1), intervention (B), and baseline-2 phase (A2), namely 47%, 97.75% , and 87%. The data shows that children with intellectual disabilities experienced an increase in the percentage after receiving intervention through media matching boxes, so it can be concluded that the use of media matching boxes has an effect on increasing the ability to recognize numbers 1-5 in children with intellectual disabilities in class V at SKh Idaman Hati, Tangerang City

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman membaca suku kata tunagrahita ringan jenjang SMP dengan menggunakan aplikasi solite kids sebagai media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian pre eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan rancangan One Grup Pre-test and Post-test lalu diolah dengan uji Wilxocon, subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 3 orang siswa tunagrahita ringan jenjang SMP di SKh Madina Kota Serang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang diambil adalah berupa tes. Berdasarkan hasil analisis menggunakan uji Wilxocon menunjukan bahwa Thitung = 6 pada tingkat signifikansi 0,05 dengan jumlah n = 3, diperoleh Ttabel = 0, maka H0 ditolak karena Thitung > Ttabel, artinya hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian diterima. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa ada peningkatan dalam kemampuan pemahaman membaca suku kata pada siswa tunagrahita ringan jenjang SMP di SKh Madina Kota Serang setelah menggunakan aplikasi Solite Kids
