Abstract

Marketing allows tourism destinations to attract attention and create attraction for potential tourists, create a positive image, and differentiate themselves from other destinations. Tourism has a strategic role in increasing the economic growth of a region, as well as providing a positive impact on local development. In this article, the object studied is the Bagot Tourism Village which is located in Samosir Regency. The aim of this research is to analyze the marketing mix (product, price, promotion, and place). This research aims to conduct an in-depth study of the marketing mix in Bagot Tourism Village, located in Samosir Regency, by analyzing the 4P marketing mix (products, prices, promotions, and places/distribution channels) in the Bagot Tourism Village. The research was conducted using descriptive qualitative analysis methods. Research data was collected by conducting observations in the Bagot Tourism Village and interviews with the head of the POKDARWIS (Kelompok Sadar Wisata) as the manager of the Bagot Tourism Village, as well as documentation studies. The research results show that Bagot Tourism Village as a tourism destination in Samosir Regency in marketing activities pays great attention to the 4Ps (product, price, promotion, and place) especially product, price, and place. There is still room to further improve promotions, especially through social media. Bagot Tourism Village not only sells products, but also plays an active role in introducing and preserving local culinary traditions. This provides significant added value and is one of the main competitive advantages of Bagot Tourism Village.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul Pengaruh Strategi Komunikasi Terhadap Kepuasan  Pemustaka Pada Perpustakaan Politeknik Negeri Medan. Penelitian ini  betujuan untuk untuk mengetahui  Bagaiman Pengaruh Strategi komunikasi terhadap kepuasan pemustaka yang dilakukan oleh Pustakawan Politeknik  Negeri Medan. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori kepuasan. Menurut Kotler (2021) menyatakan ” Ada dua (2) teori mengenai kepuasan yaitu  Teori Harapan Kinerja dan Teori Ketidak Cocokan Kognitif. Teori harapan kinerja menyatakan bahwa kepuasan konsumen merupakan suatu fungsi dari harapan konsumen dan hasil yang diharapkan. Jika hasil yang didapat sesuai dengan yang diharapkan maka konsumen akan merasa puas, jika hasil yang didapat lebih dari yang diharapkan maka konsumen akan sangat puas dan jika hasil yang didapatkan tidak seperti apa yang diharapkan, maka konsumen tidak puas.    Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh Anggota Perpustakaan Politeknik Negeri Medan yang terdaftar. Jumlah anggota perpustakaan sebanyak 5994 orang. Sampel penelitian didapat dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin dan hasilnya sebanyak 98 orang. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan  kuisioner, dokumentasi dan pengamatan. Hasil  pengujian menunjukkan bahwa Faktor Strategi Komunikasi berpengaruh positif  dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan pemustaka. Hal ini berarti semakin baik  strategi komunikasi yang diberikan, akan semakin tinggi kepuasan pemustaka.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to develop a comprehensive model for career path development and work flexibility to enhance employee morale in the Lost and Found Department of PTJAS company.  This research addresses the growing need for adaptable career structures and flexible work arrangements as pivotal factors in improving job satisfaction and employee engagement. Data were collected using a mixed-methods approach, comprising surveys and interviews with employees in the Lost and Found Department. The survey data provided quantitative insights into employee satisfaction levels, while the interviews offered qualitative perspectives on the impact of career paths and work flexibility on morale. The analysis revealed a strong correlation between clearly defined career paths, flexible work options, and heightened employee morale. Employees who perceived clear advancement opportunities and enjoyed flexible working conditions reported significantly higher job satisfaction and motivation levels. Additionally, the findings suggest that implementing these strategies can lead to reduced turnover rates and improved organizational commitment. In conclusion, the study underscores the importance of integrating career development and work flexibility into the organizational framework to foster a positive work environment. These insights are crucial for HR professionals and management of the company aiming to boost employee morale and productivity.
