Abstract

Pengawetan ikan dengan metode pengeringan telah lama dipraktekkan oleh pengusaha pengawet ikan. Secarakhusus, kegiatan pengeringan dan pengasapan ikan telah sejak lama menjadi mata pencaharian bagi komunitaspengolahan ikan asin dan ikan asap yang ada di Desa Bagan Percut Sei Tuan dan Desa Bandar Khalipah diKabupaten Deli Serdang. Namun, pada umumnya, proses pengawetan ikan melalui metode pengeringan denganhanya mengandalkan sinar matahari yang dilanjutkan dengan pengasapan di alam terbuka menghasilkankapasitas produksi ikan asin dan ikan asap yang belum optimal. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat didua mitra yang terdapat di kedua Desa tersebut ditujukan untuk mengoptimalkan hasil produksi ikan asin danikan asap serta meningkatkan kemampuan manajerial usaha kedua mitra dengan pemanfaatan teknologi tepatguna berupa alat pengering tenaga matahari dan biomassa (APTM-BM). Kegiatan pengabdian kepadamasyarakat yang dilaksanakan dengan metode pelatihan dan demonstrasi telah memberikan kontribusi kepadakedua mitra dimana kapasitas produksi ikan asin dan ikan sapa menjadi meningkat walaupun pada saat sinarmatahari tidak optimal ataupun musim hujan. Selain itu, kesadaran dan pengetahuan kedua mitra akanpentingnya pencatatan keuangan yang rapi dan disiplin turut meningkat. Kedua hal ini juga menjadi landasanpenting bagi kedua mitra untuk pengembangan usaha mereka di masa depan.

Abstract

Pengolahan pulutan organik sangat berbahaya sebagai gas buang industri (seperti dimetil benzen) sampai sekarang belum dikembangkan. Pada penelitian ini dicoba bentuk teknologi gabungan yang menerapkan teknologi adsorpsi dalam karbon aktif dan kemudian dilanjutkan dengan reaksi oksidasi dalam sistim aqueous. Pada penelitian ini, pengolahan dimetil benzen  dilakukan dengan cara oksidasimenggunakan ozon yang yang dilaksanakan dalam dua tahap. Tahap pertama merupakan proses fiksasi dimetil benzen dengan cara adsorpsi menggunakan padatan karbon aktif. Tahap kedua adalahdesorpsi dimetil benzen dari adsorben karbon aktif yang dilanjutkan dengan reaksi oksidasi dengan gas ozon dalam sistim aqueous; reaksi oksidasi dilakukan dalam reaktor berpengaduk mekanis terisi I liter air. Percobaan dilakukan dengan laju alir ozon 48,3 mmol/jam, suhu ambiant dan tekanan atmospherik putaran pengaduk 1500 rpm, dan metil benzen teradsorpsi maksimum dalam karbon aktif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa reaksi oksidasi dimetil benzen merupakan reaksi cepat bila dibandingkan dengan tahap desorpsinya. Selanjutnya, hasil pengamatan dapat mengklarifikasi bahwa reaksi oksidasi dimetil benzen menggunakan ozon dalam dua tahap ini dibatasi oleh tahap desorpsi dimetil benzen terfiksasi dalam karbon aktif ke fasa cair.Kata kunci : adsorpsi-desopsi, oksidasi, karbon aktif, ozon, dimetil benzen, reaktor berpengaduk

Abstract

This study was a classroom action research by following a cycle model in which each cycle consists of four stages of activity. The aim of study was to improve the writing competence of the official letter at class VIII A Junior High School 2 Piyungan Bantul in first semester of 2016/2017 through the application of Contextual Approach Modeling. The object of study was the basic competence of writing official letter number 4.2 in class VIII first semester. The method of data collections were tests, classroom observations, classroom field notes, and questionnaires. After Contextual Approach Modeling was applied in the process of writing official letter dan the learning of process quality. The learning of process quality increased was marked by the increasing students activity in the learning process. The cycle I, the students activity were 23 children (82%) and the cycle II, the students activity were increased to 25 children (89%). Then, the improvement outcomes of learning process was marked by the increasing of average value in the writing test of official letter from 81.3 to 82.5. The achievement of learning process was decreased from 85.7% to 80.8%.

Abstract

Obat antiinflamasi sintetis umumya memiliki efek samping yang berbahaya jika digunakan  terus menerus, sehingga diperlukan obat herbal sebagai alternatif penggunaan. Nanopartikel lotion kombinasi ekstrak daun Gelenggang dan Sirih Merah adalah salah satu pengobatan herbal alternatif untuk rasa sakit dan bengkak karena peradangan. Hasil ekstraksi dengan mtode maserasi didapatkan ekstak daun Gelenggang sebanyak 34,95 gram dengan rendemen 11,65% dan ekstrak Sirih merah sebanyak 30,24 gram dengan rendemen 15,25%.Hasil uji skrining fitokimia didapatkan hasil bahwa terdapat kandungan flavonoid dari kedua ekstrak tersebut sebagai agen antiinflamasi. Nanopartikel yang dihasilkan dari pengukuran dengan menggunakan Particle siza analizer (PSA) adalah sebesar 833,1 nm. Formulasi lotion dilakukan dengan menggabungkan fase minyak dan fase air serta dibuat dalam lima formula. Pengujian antiinflamasi dilakukan secara in vivo dengan cara menginduksikan karagenin 1% dan kemudian  diukur penghambatan oedem kaki tikus dengan plestimometer. Dari hasil uji antiinflamasi menunjukkan bahwa nanopartikel lotion kombinasi ekstrak daun Gelenggang dan Sirih Merah memiliki efek antiinflamasi. Nanopartikel lotion 10% (4 mg/ 200 g BB) dan 40% (16 mg/ 200 g BB) memiliki khasiat yang hampir sama dengan natrium diklofenak (50 mg/200 g BB), sedangkan nanopartikel lotion 20% (8 mg/ 200 BB) memiliki efek antiinflamasi yang lebih besar.

Abstract

Kota Batu is one Agropolitan city located in East Java province with huge potential for development in agriculture. Apple is a fruit plant that can live well in the highlands. This plant in Indonesia since 1934. As other fruit crops, apples are also susceptible to the disease. Maintaining plants from disease is also an attempt to preserve the environment. One form of such vandalism is negligence of farmers in preserving plants from disease. Making this system an attempt to perform human roles. This system is expected to help farmers, in particular, to be able to identify precisely the apple crop diseases and appropriate. So can meminimalisi impact. This application is developed using PHP programming language and MySQL database. Both are a combination of the most popular in the manufacture of web-based applications. While the inference method used is Backward chaining which is based on the tracking of data or facts then led to the conclusion in the form of conclusions pests or diseases that attack the apple crop. Tests performed by comparing the suitability of the output with the diagnosis expert system. And of the 30 test cases the data obtained accuracy rate modeling expert system testing using methods Certainty Factor on apple crop disease diagnosis system amounted to 93.3%. With the accuracy of the results indicate that the system is able to replace the role of experts.

Abstract

In conducting a software project, the success of the project should begin with a proper planning. If the planning is considered as bad, it will cause the failure of the project. One of the example of failure projects takes place on the time swelling of the Time swelling can lead to the swelling of the project cost. One of the project planning phase is the project cost estimation. Project cost estimation constitutes time, cost and number estimation of employees working on the project. The cost estimation of this research uses COCOMO II method. COCOMO II method provide a cost estimation technique which aims to determine how long is the process of software development and the number of employees needed to finish the software project. To describe the characteristics of the project, COCOMO II method uses Scale Driver and Effort Multipliers questionnaires which are distributed to the entire project team. To illustrate the complexity of the system that will be done, the value of Unadjusted Function Point is used in each process of Monitoring Information System and Evaluation of Achieved-Student Scholarship Enrollment of UIN Malang which are obtained from Data Flow Diagram analysis. The research result is the cost estimation (time, cost, number of employees) to finish the Monitoring Information System project and Evaluation of Achieved-Student Scholarship Enrollment of UIN Malang

Abstract

The amount of contribution from telemetry system to support the main job of Perum Jasa Tirta I Malang on handling the flood prevention, making telemetry system as a vital system that must be spared from the risks. That risk might obstruct and effect the result of flood monitoring which potencially harmfull to society. Perum Jasa Tirta I Malang was established a policies about risk management, include managing the risk profile. An evaluation on the implementation of information technology risk management in Perum Jasa Tirta I Malang was done to measure the capability level accomplishment. Cobit 5 framework, especially in process domain EDM03 (Ensure Risk Optimisation) and APO12 (Manage Risk), was used as the basis of the evaluations, it turned out that capability level for both of process domain EDM03 and APO12 were on level 2. Target of capability level that want to be achieved by Perum Jasa Tirta I Malang for both of process domain EDM03 and APO12 are on level 3. In other words, the interval of deviation (gap) from the two domain process was 1. And then, risk identification was needed to figure out wether the current control was appropriated. Besides that, risk assessment was also needed to reduce impact and probability of the the risks. From the evaluation result, recomendation and mitigation strategy ware made to support the improvement for the implementation of risk management information and technology at Perum Jasa Tirta I Malang.

Abstract

Hair craft product is selected as a specialized one in Karangbanjar village,  Purbalingga Regency. This product has comparative advantage among other regions such as in Demak, Sragen, Karanganyar, and Brebes. It is also the second best product in the world after Guangzhou, China. This hair craft creative industry can employ many workers and generate income for the artisans in fulfilling their basic needs. The purpose of this study is to identify internal and external factors and analyze production activity and consumption behaviour of entrepreneurs of hair creative industry in Karangbanjar, Purbalingga. This study used primary and secondary data. The primary one was collected from respondents—68 entrepreneurs of hair production industry, and the secondary one was from relevant government institutions. Some measurements were applied in this study. Internal and External factors were identified by using SWOT analysis, while production activity was measured by profit analysis and economic efficiency analysis, and the consumption was measured by average propensity to consume (APC) analysis. The result shows that: 1) Hair creative industry has strenghts over weaknesses and opportunities over threats; (2) Hair creative industry offers high profit; 2) The entrepreneur profit coming from this industry can fulfill most of the consumption.

Abstract

PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk is a limited liability company under the command of BUMN which is engaged as the largest integrated steel producer in Indonesia. Corporate information technology governance is an important part of ensuring that the availability of the information technology has supported the achievement of the company's business objectives. With the problems found on existing resources, human resource management, and knowledge management of employees, information technology resource management on PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk. The COBIT 5 framework is considered to be an appropriate framework for information technology resource management. This study focuses on the COBIT 5 subdomain EDM04: Ensure Resource Optimisation, APO07: Human Resources Optimisation, and BAI08: Manage Knowledge and to determine the current of capability level and GAP’s value. The result of EDM04 value is 3 at level 3 and GAP 1, APO07 is 2.3 at level 2 and GAP 0.7, and BAI08 is 2.7 at level 2 and GAP 0.3. In creating the recommendations, use SWOT analysis. The recommendation is focusing on controlling each procedure, implementing redundancy in the regeneration of infrastructure, labor demand, and updating and improving the analysis results on the knowledge management website, and increasing employee competency.

Abstract

This research was aimed at gaining the compound rubber of dock Vender formula which has the  characteristic of optimal tensile strength after aging 70 + 1oC within 3 x 24 hours and the optimal elongation at bre ak before aging. This research used the amount of car bon black formula with variation  : 40,45,50,55,60,65, and 70 parts for each 100 partsof rubber. The research showed  that using the formula 40 : 100, the optimal tensile strength after aging 70 + 1oC during 3 x 24 hours resulted the average tensile st rength 19,79 newton/mm2. Where   as the characteristic of the optimum elongation at break was gained at formula 40 part with the average elongation break 682,98% . The result showed that the elongation break aft er aging and elongation at break  after aging fulfilled the specification of SII 2281 88 dock Vender.  INTISARI Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan formula kompon karet bantalan dermaga yang mempunyai sifat tegangan putus setelah aging 70 + 1oC selama 3 x 24 jam yang optimal, dan perpanjangan putus sebelum aging yang optimal. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan formula jumlah karbon black dengan variasi 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65 dan 70 bagian untuk setiap 100 bagian karet. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tegangan putus setelah aging 70 + 1oC selama 3 x 24 jam optimal pada penggunaan carbon black 40 bagian dengan tegangan putus rata-rata 19,79 N/mm2. Sedangkan sifat  perpanjangan putus sebelum aging nilai optimum didapat pada formula carbon black 40 bagian dengan perpanjangan putus rata-rata 682,98%. Hasil uji tegangan putus setelah aging dan perpanjangan putus sebelum aging memenuhi persyaratan SH 2281-88 bantalan karet untuk dermaga.
