Abstract

This study aims to determine the description and effectiveness of the application of the Children Learning In Science learning model in science subjects on energy materials for third grade students of SD Negeri 200 Bulue, Marioriawa District, Soppeng Regency. This research approach is a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental research design in the form of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population of this research is the third grade students of SD Negeri 200 Bulue. The sample is 43 students. The research instruments used were tests, observation sheets, and documentation, while the data collection techniques in this study used interviews, observations, documentation and science learning tests. The data analysis used is descriptive data analysis and inferential data analysis. The results of this study indicate that the activity of students in the experimental class is very effective with a percentage of 90%, in the control class it is quite effective with a percentage of 57%. The results of the Independent Sample T-Test at a significance level of 5% obtained a significant value (2-tailed) < (0.003 < 0.05). Based on these results, it can be concluded that it is effective.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the influence of Cooperative learning model based on Hands  On Activity on the results of learning Natural Sciences (SCIENCE) in elementary school. Type of  research used quantitative research  with experimental  method (true experimental design) with posttest-only control design. The instruments used to collect data are posttests and observation sheets of student activities. The results showed that the data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and inferenceal analysis. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques known average value (mean) 73.74 and was in the low category of 43.48% while the average (mean) posttest was 86.96 was in a very high category of 91.32% the average value in posttest class experiments was higher than the average posttest value of control class and inferential statistical analysis using t test formula, it can be known that the calculated tvalue is 4,573 with (df) of 46 – 1 = 45, at a significant level of 5%, so it can be concluded that there is an influence of the Hands On Activity learning model on science learning outcomes  in elementary school students.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the learning outcomes of class VI students at SD Negeri 30 Sumpang Bita which still need to be improved. The purpose of this study was to find out whether cooperative learning type STAD can improve science learning outcomes in class VI students at SDN 30 Sumpang Bita. This research is a class action research (Classroom Action Research) which includes planning, implementation, observation and reflection. This research lasted for 2 cycles. The research subjects were 18 students in class VI at SD Negeri 30 Sumpang Bita for the 2022/2023 academic year. Data collection techniques through tests, observation and documentation. This research uses descriptive qualitative. The data obtained from observation sheet data and student tests were analyzed by calculating the percentage of all observed indicators. The results showed that the motivation and learning outcomes of students after the implementation of the STAD type cooperative learning model showed that the average of all indicators both from the aspect of learning motivation and learning outcomes increased. This is indicated by an increase in the average percentage of observation sheets in cycle I by 67%. In cycle II there was an increase of 89% which met the Minimum Completeness Criteria.
