Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Peran Kelompok Kerja Guru Pola Pelatihan Berbasis Zonasi terhadap Kemampuan Guru dalam Penguasaan Materi IPA dan Penyusunan Soal HOTS. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen Pretest–Postest Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 41 orang guru SD di Gugus Wirokuntolo dan 44 orang guru SD di Gugus Joko Klewer yang dipilih secara random. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan tes, data dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan pengujian hipotesis dengan perangkat lunak SPSS 16 Series For Windows. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji MANOVA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Terdapat pengaruh signifikan Peran Kelompok Kerja Guru Pola Pelatihan Berbasis Zonasi terhadap Kemampuan Guru dalam Penguasaan Materi IPA, terbukti dari nilai Sig = 0,000 < ? = 0,050; (2) Terdapat pengaruh signifikan Peran Kelompok Kerja Guru Pola Pelatihan Berbasis Zonasi terhadap Kemampuan Guru dalam Penyusunan Soal HOTS terbukti dari nilai Sig = 0,000 < ? = 0,050; (3) Terdapat pengaruh signifikan Peran Kelompok Kerja Guru Pola Pelatihan Berbasis Zonasi terhadap Kemampuan Guru dalam Penguasaan Materi IPA dan Penyusunan Soal HOTS.

Abstract

Molecular dynamics method has been applied to model the phase transition of the aluminium (Al). We used the LAMMPS molecular dynamics code to simulate the physical process of the phase transition and observing the dynamics of atoms by using Jmol vizualitation code. From the simulation data we found that the phase transition where the melting point of the material is, can be observed at temperature T = 1059,75 K. In this view we may use the molecular dynamics method as an innovative model of physical learning model in senior high school level, as an alternative of dry lab. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa yang diakibatkan oleh kurang tepatnya metode pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru dalam proses pembelajaran dan lemahnya keterampilan kolaborasi siswa sebagai modal dalam belajar IPA. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan pengaruh project based learning tehadap hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran IPA dan mendeskripsikan perbedaan hasil belajar IPA pada tingkat keterampilan kolaborasi siswa yang berbeda. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan pola pretest-posttest control group design yang dilakukan pada siswa kelas IV SDN Kecamatan Damar,  data hasil penelitian diperloeh dengan menggunakan instrumen berupa lembar tes hasil belajar siswa dan lembar observasi keterampilan kolaborasi, data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji two way ANOVA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang belajar dengan mengguunakan project based learning dengan siswa yang belajar tanpa menggunakan project based learning. Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang memiliki keterampilan kolaborasi tinggi cenderung lebih besar jika dibandingkan dengan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang memiliki keterampilan kolaborasi rendah yang dipengaruhi oleh penggunaan model project based learning berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

For the design of fast nuclear reactors, usually it use the lead metal alloys for coolant materials. Researches about lead coolants, has been carried out experimentally. However, experimental studies in the nuclear material field, besides being expensive, usually also require high safety. In particular, research on the corrosive properties of liquid lead for structural materials requires serious treatment if carried out experimentally. In this case, the computational method is very helpful to overcome these obstacles. In our research we use the molecular dynamics simulation method to know the effect of temperatures and effect of liquid lead corrosion attack to iron material. We want to know that which one is most crucial that causing the damage of the materials: it is due to temperature or due to liquid lead attack. It has been observed from MSD curves of simulation results that the liquid lead can make iron material experiencing most damage if compared with temperature effect The interactions among atoms are described by the Lennard-Jonnes interaction potential. The simulations was run and supported using Moldy and Ovito software.Keywords: Corrosion of molten lead, fast nuclear reactor, molecular dynamics simulation, Moldy, MSD, Ovito.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze problems in online communities to help solve problems faced by Open University (OU) students in terms of topics discussed in online communities, problems that arise in online communities, the process of counseling guidance in online communities, improving student problem-solving skills after discussing in online communities. This research was conducted using a quantitative descriptive design. All Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) students who post on online community services, from January 2019 to December 2019 as research objects. Data were collected using the documentary method and a problem-solving ability test for students from the Bojonegoro study group. Data from the online community is described based on the proportions while the problem-solving ability with N-gain, sensitivity, and completeness. The results showed: (1) The topics discussed in the online community service were introductions, registration, tutoring/study, and grades/exams; (2) Problems that arise in online community services are registration, tutorials, grades, and exams; (3) The process of counseling guidance in online community services for student problems is karstic; (4) Students' problem-solving ability after discussing in online community services increases and is in high criteria.

Abstract

Changes in learning patterns that are taking place rapidly due to Covid-19 have made every educational institution able to quickly adapt, especially in the use of learning technology. Teacher readiness in optimizing the use of technology to support the learning process is a new problem that arises when the concept of digital learning begins to be echoed. The use of technology can help teachers visualize material (such as in science learning Physics) and assist teachers in conducting evaluation activities in a practical and efficient manner. The limitations of teachers, especially in several educational institutions in South Tangerang to utilize technology in learning, are the background of the importance of training activities carried out. The results obtained after implementation refer to the evaluation of tasks and practices observed during the training process, indicating that there was an increase in teacher skills in utilizing technology to support the learning process. The teachers who have attended the training have been able to integrate the use of virtual laboratory applications and evaluate student learning outcomes using the quizizz application. The training on the use of learning technology is one of the forms of support from the Physics Education Study Program of FKIP UT to assist and assist teachers in carrying out technology-based learning activities, especially in Physics Science learning during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This study describes the influence of the inquiry learning model and critical thinking skills on student learning outcomes. The research population was all seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Tarutung. The sample was set at 60 people consisting of 2 (two) classes, with details of class VII-B totaling 30 people, class VII-C totaling 30 people. This research was carried out from October to December 2021. This research instrument used a multiple choice test of 30 items for learning outcomes tests and 10 items in the form of essays for critical thinking ability tests. The research design used in this study was an experimental design with a 2x2 factorial. In this study, the first independent variable consisted of two, namely the inquiry and conventional models. While the second independent variable (moderator variable) consists of high and low critical thinking skills and the dependent variable is science learning outcomes. The results showed that there was an effect of the inquiry learning model on the science learning outcomes of students at SMP Negeri 3 Tarutung of 0.004. There is an effect of critical thinking skills on students' science learning outcomes at SMP Negeri 3 Tarutung of 0.002. There is an interaction between learning models and critical thinking skills on student learning outcomes based on the results of the ANOVA test, the value of sig = 0.022 <sig.0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an interaction between learning models and critical thinking skills in influencing student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The advantage of four-tier model test is that it has four levels of questions that require complex reasoning abilities from students to express the reasons for their answers to the problems given. This study aimed to develop a multiple representation test with a four-tier model to measure students’ multiple representation in electricity topics. The stages of developing this test instrument used a stage model of The Design Based Research which consists of five stages, namely developing an assessment framework, designing items, developing rubrics, conducting trials, and applying the Racsh Model analysis with the Item Response approach. Theory (IRT) program assisted Winsteps version 3.68.2. The research method used was descriptive-exploratory method to describe the results of the development and validation of four-tier model test. This test consisted to 20 items were developed based on four types of representation, namely verbal representations, diagrammatic representations (pictures), mathematical representations, and graphic representations with each indicator. The research subjects involved were 30 prospective physics students at the pilot test stage and 79 prospective physics students at the field test stage from different universities in Makassar city. The results of the development of the four-tier test model test overall items are valid with a high level of reliability (Cronbach's Alpha value = 0.80). Based on the results of expert judgment validation and testing, it can be concluded that the multiple representation test with four-tier model on electricity topic is feasible to use.

Abstract

The optic system of the eye consists abstract concept. To deepen students' understanding of eye optic systems, appropriate learning media are needed. AR technology provides opportunities to be able to optimize learning and create learning effectiveness. The aim of this research is to produce a valid, practical and effective augmented reality (AR) medium to enhance students' understanding of the concept of eye optic systems. Research method used the ADDIE model, where the following research steps: (1) Analyze (Needsanalysis), (2) Design (Product design),(3) Develop (Product development),(4) Implementation (Implementation and product trials),(5) Evaluation (Product evaluation). From the entire stage of research carried out, obtained viable AR media (valid, practical and effective) to be used in improving students' understanding of the concept of the system optical eye. The external targets that will result from the first year's proposed activities are AR media products on the topic of eye optic systems and are listed in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). In the second year, the external target of research is to obtain AR media products on the topic of valid optical eye systems based on expert assessments as well as research results that have been published in international conference. The thirdyear, the targeted external is to produce a valid, practical and effective virtual reality media prortype to enhance students' understanding of the concept of optical systems. through implementation and evaluation activities

Abstract

Optical material is material that is quite difficult for students because it has abstract concepts. Media that is considered an alternative solution is augmented reality. AR provides an effective learning experience because it displays 3D images so that it is easily accepted by students and makes students interested in learning. This study aims to develop augmented reality media to increase students' understanding of the eye optical system material. The type of research to be carried out in Research and Development, with the chosen development model being ADDIE. Product evaluation is carried out based on test results and product implementation. The population of this research is students of the Physics Education Study Program, FKIP UT, who are enrolled in the 2021.2-semester lectures and tutors for the Physics Education Study Program, FKIP UT. The research sample was students of the UT FKIP Physics Education Study Program who attended several 18 people (from UPBJJ UT Bogor, Jakarta, and Serang and tuweb tutors for the optics course). The data collection method consisted of administering a questionnaire. To determine the level of understanding of student material on system material eye optics, test results given to students were analyzed descriptively. Questionnaire analysis from tutors and students regarding the need for AR media was analyzed descriptively and quantitatively. The sampling technique used was random sampling, in which the entire population has the same rights and opportunities to be involved in research Based on the results of the needs analysis, it shows that 81% of students agree and need AR media to study the optical system of the eye, 72% of students agree that the material for the optical system of the watch has the potential to cause misconceptions if studied without using media. Based on the results of the needs analysis, consists of 3 main topics, namely regarding the structure of the eye, the process of seeing in the eye, and eye defects. The results of the trial analysis using AR media used a paired sample t-test to see the effectiveness of AR media. The results of the analysis of the paired sample t-test showed a Sig.2 tailed value > 0.05 so it can be concluded that there was a significant difference between before and after using AR media. In other words, it is easier for students to understand the material after being treated in the form of AR media on the concept of eye optics.
