Abstract

In terms of the history of its compilation, the Indonesian language has applied two of the four existing spellings, the Spelling van Ophuijsen and Spelling Suwandi or Spelling Republican. The Spelling of van Ophuijsen was coined by Charles Adriaan van Ophuijsen, a Dutch scholar of Malay, who compiled the book Kitab Logat Melajoe (1901). After Independence in 1945, the next two years, the Spelling Suwandi or Republican Spelling, based on Surat Keputusan No. 264/Bhg.A, date 19 March 1947, signed by Menteri Pengajaran, Pendidikan, dan Kebudayaan Mr. Soewandi. This research uses a qualitative-descriptive method. The data analyzed in the form of advertising tempo doeloe from the website www.wajibbaca.com. These advertisings, once analyzed, use a lot of Spelling van Ophuijsen and Spelling Suwandi or Spelling Republican. The result of this research is Spelling van Ophuijsen marked font oe, dj, and diacritic marks. Meanwhile, the Spelling of Suwandi has marked the font u substitute oe and the repeated word with number 2. Spelling in an advertisement can be used in lecture Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia).

Abstract

Minat orang asing dalam mempelajari bahasa Indonesia meningkat di setiap tahun. Salah satu program pemerintah dalam pengembangan bahasa Indonesia melalui program darmaiswa. Program beasiswa berupa darmasiswa diikuti oleh berbagai negara yang bekerja sama secara diplomatik dengan Negara Indonesia. Program ini dilaksanakan selama dua semester atau satu tahun yang tersebar dibebagai macam kampus di Indonesia, salah satunya adalah di Universitas Ahmad Dahlan, Yogyakarta. Program darmasiswa tahun akademik 2019/2020 diikuti oleh 11 mahasiswa asing yang berasal dari 8 negara. Selain belajar 4 keterampilan bahasa, mereka juga belajar tentang budaya dan sejarah Indonesia, tarian, drama, memasak, dan seni musik. Salah satu program unggulan UAD yang menjdi ciri khas adalah program Community Service di SD dan SMP Gantiwarno Klaten Jawa Tegah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui persiapan program Community Service, implementasi Community Service, dan sistem evaluasi dalam Community Service. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program pengabdian masyarakat melakukan tahap persiapan dengan memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan untuk membuat proposal kegiatan. Implementasi kegiatan di lokasi sesuai dengan rencana yang telah dibuat, meskipun ada beberapa masalah yang muncul, tetapi ada solusi yang dapat diselesaikan. Selain perencanaan dan proses kegiatan Community Service, penelitian ini akan menguraikan sistem evaluasi dalam kegiatan Community Service .

Abstract

The interest in learning foreign students about Indonesian is high. This can be seen at least from the number of foreign students studying at the Ahmad Dahlan University Darmasiswa Program (UAD), especially in the 2016/2017 academic year (TA). This fact is certainly interesting to study more considering that Indonesian Language for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) is a rapidly developing scientific field. The purpose of this study is to describe the literacy of BIPA UAD Darmasiswa Program containing Indonesian language and culture. The method of collecting data in this study is the observation method with the technique of reading and recording. Data is taken from photos and descriptions of lecture activities in the classroom and outside the UAD Darmasiswa Program class. The results of this study indicate that BIPA student literacy The UAD Darmasiswa Program with Indonesian language and culture is carried out inside and outside the classroom. Activities in the classroom include lectures on Indonesian language skills and culture, while activities outside the classroom include mankakrida activities at Borobudur Temple, Imogiri Tomb, Chocolate Monggo Factory, Batik Mekar, and others. With these activities, the BIPA Darmasiswa UAD students became more aware of Indonesian language and cultural knowledge and skills.

Abstract

The background of the research was due to the COVID-19 pandemic which was not over yet and the need for teaching materials that could be used digitally. This is of course based on the results of a need assessment or analysis of product needs in the two schools that are partners in this research. The product that appears in this study is a digital module that contains narrative text material for seventh grade students of junior high school. The purpose of this research is to find out; 1) the stages in developing a digital module for narrative text material for seventh grade junior high school students, 2) the feasibility of developing a digital module for narrative text material for seventh grade junior high school students, 3) implementing digital module development for seventh grade junior high school students. The type of research used in this research is research and development with the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). The research subjects are validators in the form of media experts, material experts, learning experts (users), and students. While the object of this research is the development of a digital module containing narrative text material for seventh grade students of junior high school. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used in this study uses quantitative-descriptive analysis, because it presents data from the validation results in the form of numbers and describes the stages in product development in the form of digital modules. The results of this study are as follows, showing that the teaching materials that have been developed can be categorized as "Very Appropriate". This is evidenced by the results of the average score obtained from the experts, amounting to 97.6. The average score obtained from media experts is 106, from material experts is 96, and from teaching experts (teachers as users) is 92. The results of student responses to digital modules that have been implemented are 95.5. Based on this explanation, it can be concluded that research on the development of digital modules for narrative text material for seventh grade students of junior high school is expected to be able to use this digital module optimally in the process of teaching and learning activities and of course it can improve the quality of the process and learning outcomes in narrative texts.

Abstract

This study aims to invent the equivalent of the latest foreign-Indonesian term as a means of introducing Indonesian language to foreign speakers (BIPA). This research uses  qualitative approach. Data are obtained through reading and noting the equivalents of foreign-Indonesian terminology in dictionaries, books, and newspapers. This study uses content review techniques. The results of this study show about 5.800 equivalents of foreign-Indonesian terms covering eight study areas namely, (1) business and finance, (2) tourism, (3) sport, (4) property, (5) transportation and communication, (6) industry, (7) beauty and personal equipment, and (8) information and electronics.Keywords: inventory, equivalents of the latest foreign-Indonesian, BIPA

Abstract

Penelitian ini didasari dari hasil analisis kebutuhan produk di sekolah mitra yaitu ketersediaan media pembelajaran yang belum maksimal, khususnya pada materi teks puisi kelas VIII SMP. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengembangkan produk media pembelajaran Canva materi teks puisi kelas VIII SMP , mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran Canva materi teks puisi kelas VIII SMP dan mengetahui produk akhir media pembelajaran Canva materi teks puisi kelas VIII SMP. Oleh sebab itu, maka dilakukan pengembangan media pembelajaran dengan aplikasi Canva materi teks puisi kelas VIII SMP dengan menerapkan pengembangan Research and Developmen (R&D). Teknik pengambilan data yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini yaitu observsi, wawancara, dan angket. Adapun teknik analisis penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil akhir media pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia berupa audio visual dengan aplikasi Canva materi tek puisi KD 3.7 dan KD 4.7 kelas VIII SMP. Dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran, penelitian ini melibatkan ahli materi, ahli media, dan ahli pengajaran. Adapun hasil yang didapat dari ahli materi yaitu 83% dengan kategori “sangat baik”, hasil dari ahli media yaitu 98,4 % dengan kategori “sangat baik”, hasil dari ahli materi yaitu 90% dengan kategori “sangat baik”. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut maka didapat hasil akhir denga rata-rata 90,4%. Jadi dapat simpulkan media pembelajaran tersebut tergolong “sangat baik”

Abstract

This research was motivated by the existence of Indonesian language learning for Thai students, which took place in Bangkok Thailand. In the learning process, of course, there are problems that hinder student learning because Indonesian language learning is carried out in Thailand. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. This study aims to describe the Indonesian language learning process for students in Bangkok, where these students have a mother tongue with Thai and describe the obstacles that exist in the language learning process. The method of collecting data in this research is the method of listening, observation and interviews. The results of this study conclude as follows: 1) The process of learning Indonesian at school by means of; (a) memorize vocabulary (b) read Indonesian texts, and (c) do practice questions. 2) The obstacles experienced in learning Indonesian are; (a) difficulties in pronouncing some letters in Indonesian, (b) students lack confidence in speaking Indonesian, (c) inadequate attitudes and habits of students, (d) students' cultural and language backgrounds. 3) Solutions to overcome obstacles in the learning process, namely: (a) giving students more time to practice, (b) talking to students individually (c) maximizing learning outcomes in class with limited time, (d) simplifying the material and understanding students, and (e) giving more time to students.

Abstract

Bahan ajar merupakan seperangkat bahan tersusun sistematis sedemikian rupa untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif sehingga siswa dapat mengikuti pembelajaran secara nyaman. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara yang telah dilakukan dengan salah satu guru Bahasa Indonesia di SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Yogyakarta, didapatkan hasil bahwa selama proses pembelajaran materi teks fable, guru sebagai fasilitator pembelajaran masih menggunakan bahan ajar berupa buku teks. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode R&D (Research and Development) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yaitu terdapat lima tahap pengembangan yaitu: analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu berupa wawancara dan angket. Wawancara dilakukan kepada Guru dan peserta didik kelas VII SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Yogyakarta dan SMP PIRI Yogyakarta. Berdasarkan hasil analisis kebutuhan didapatkan hasil bahwa selama ini Guru sebagai fasilitator pembelajaran belum menerapkan modul digital yang telah disesuaikan dengan perkembangan zaman dalam pembelajaran teks fabel di kelas VII, peserta didik belum pernah dihadirkan modul digital sebagai bahan ajar penunjang mata pelajaran teks fabel.
