Abstract

Kegiatan membaca merupakan aktivitas yang dapat menstimulasi otak melalui lambang-lambang tertulis mengenai informasi tertentu kemudian menalarkannya.Namun sangat disayangkan bahwa tingkat minat membaca masyarakat di Indonesia masih sangat minim. Demi meningkatkan kegemaran masyarakat untuk membaca, maka hal tersebut harus dapat ditumbuhnya sejak dini. Dengan menciptakan budaya membaca yang asik serta menyenangakan dan mudah untuk diterima oleh generasi muda. Dengan adanya tantangan perkembangan zaman yang kian cepat, sehingga semakin tergerusnya budaya membaca buku dikalangan anak-anak yang disebabkan oleh kemajuan teknologi informasi yang kian beragam, maka metode yang dilakukan untuk mensosialisasikan gemar membaca tersebut yaitu dengan menggunakan film sebagai media pembelajaran. Dengan mengupas ide-ide yang ingin disampaikan film tersebut yang kemudian dapat menstimuli keinginan anak untuk gemar membaca dan kemudian menumbuhkan kebiasaan menulis bagi anak.

Abstract

Vocational High School (SMK) is held as a secondary school from SMP / MTs in accordance with their talents, interests and abilities in order to meet the needs / job opportunities that are and will develop in the area. Maximizing the potential of vocational schools can be done by carrying out the public relations function to shape the image and reputation of the school so that it is able to compete with high schools (SMA). Especially in SMK N 4 Pekanbaru which has great potential to be socialized to the public. In connection with the Public Relations Study Program is committed to contributing with institutions including schools to be able to carry out their public relations functions properly.

Abstract

The importance of environmental awareness must receive a special attention from public especially in Pekanbaru which is often affected by environmental demage such as wildfire or illegal logging. The existence of Balai Diklat Lingkungan dan Kehutanan (BDLHK) of Pekanbaru is expected to be able to provide the valid and educative information about environmental issues. Refers to those issues, they need to improve their abiltity to manage institusion’s company profile, informnation management through social media platform, and creating educative, creative, and persuasive content in stop motion video. The purpose of using social media platform is to achieve the society especially youth generation. There are three outputs of this event. first, basic training of making intitusion company profile, second, stop motion video, third, do the social campaign through social media. Hopefully the contribution of this program will be sustainable going forward.

Abstract

This research describe about how SKA Mal as one of the biggest shopping centre in Pekanbaru could maintain their existence for 15 years, since 2004. The ability of SKA Mal who was a local mal and should compete with a new big mal with a national scale. This new mal come in 2018, named Living World Pekanbaru. The presence of Living World from national scale was a new alternative option for Pekanbaru citizen to shop or refreshing. Also, this Living World Pekanbaru is the second Living World after the one in Banten near to Jakarta. Another threat for SKA Mal is the presence of Transmart in 2017. Although this one is not that a big threat for SKA Mal because the type of shopping centre is a little bit different. The ability of a brand to keep on running is with maintaining their existence. It’s is seen from how that brand see the power of each brand element. They are name of brand, logo and symbol, character, package, slogan and jingle. Evaluation for each brand element could seen from the character of each element as what Keller said (2006). The discussion will use the qualitative method with collecting the qualitative data and explained with descriptive analiysis to the evaluation of brand of SKA mal in order to confront the competition and market develop of Pekanbaru city.

Abstract

The struggle of Raden Ayu Kartini to gain freedom for Javanese women who were hindered by the great walls of culture and tradition, often associated with patriarchal culture which was said to give more privileges to men than women. But in fact the privileges possessed by men instead of giving freedom, it also binds his mind to the true roles and behavior of men who have been established in the patriarchal culture itself.

Abstract

High intensity of social media usage in indonesia provides online interaction between people all around the world anytime. Social Media users can having some online interactions with which public figures they want to as long as they also use the social media. communication activity such as sending messages, likes, comment can be done. But, Indonesian netizen are often do some aggressive or rude act in online media. There are some factors like the anonymous and tons of comments all over the world makes them feel safe to comment as they please. They can do any hate speech or something offensive easily to other people that they even never know each other before. Especially for women, social media is whare any gender violances such as sexual harassment, gender justifications, or anything else can do even in online public spaces. According to those problems above, digital literacy is really important to women to makes they know how to use social media safely and in positive ways from how to access, how to understanding the message, and how to select good informations.

Abstract

Series Squid Game merupakan series yang paling banyak ditonton di seluruh dunia melalui platform streaming yang ditayangkan oleh Netflix. Penelitian ini membahas tentang fenomena kesamaan budaya permainan tradisional yang ada di dalam series Squid Game, khususnya terhadap penonton series Squid Game yang ada di Kota Pekanbaru, Provinsi Riau, Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi teori konstruksi realitas sosial yang dikembangkan oleh Peter L. Berger dan Thomas Luckmann. Teori Konstruksi Sosial menggambarkan proses sosial melalui tindakan dan interaksi berdasarkan realitas pengalaman hidup yang dipengaruhi oleh tiga proses dialektis yaitu: eksternalisasi, objektivasi dan internalisasi. Maka akan terlihat sejauh mana penonton series Squid Game dalam mengkonstruksikan realitas budaya dalam permainan tradisional. Hasil dari penelitian ini, pertama eksternalisasi terdapat pengalaman informan bahwa permainan tradisional di masa kecil itu sangat menyenangkan. Kedua, objektivasi terdapat pengetahuan informan terhadap konstruksi permainan tradisional di dalam series Squid Game berbanding terbalik (anti-mainstream). Dan ketiga, internalisasi yang tertanam ialah nilai kehidupan yang membentuk kualitas diri. Sedangkan nilai yang dikonstruksi di dalam series Squid Game manusia hanya menjadi objek kekuasaan dan keserakahan.

Abstract

The digital era has brought about a shift in consumer behaviour. This study offers an explanation for the purchasing decisions made by online shoppers using the ZALORA e-commerce platform. Exposure served to employ descriptive qualitative data collection to technique, observation, interview, and documentation. As a consequence of this, both internal and external factors have something to do with the effectiveness of consumer spending and the convenience of access. The desire and lifestyle of a person is the next factor, followed by the contribution of social media and a trend, the quality of the service, and the activities of marketing on a platform.
