Abstract

Traffic incidents refer to events occurring on highways unrelated to recurring events that interfere with the smoothness and safety of traffic. Congestion is one of the most widespread incidents and has become a problem in big cities. Existing applications do not currently support reporting for favorable conditions of congestion, accidental congestion or other visible incidents on the highways that may help drivers whether to keep picking up stalled routes or alternate routes. In this research, presented a system that supports reporting on the condition or events on the highway that is not only about congestion but also other incidents such as potholes, criminal acts that occur on the highway. The information presented is not the only location but can also be a video or image to show the actual state in visual form. So it can help the user to avoid the congestion area and reduce the buildup of vehicles in the congestion area.Keywords-Information Systems, Traffic Congestion, Geofencing, Crowdsourcing

Abstract

Carbon monoxide (CO) concentration produced from incomplete material burning affects both work health and safety. A smart system capable of early detection of carbon monoxide (CO) concentration is therefore required. This research develops a carbon monoxide sensor detection capability using a wireless sensor system that transmits data to the web server via internet connection. A semiconductor CO sensor is installed in a remote terminal unit. A computer application is developed for data acquisition and sending  via online and in real time to a web server using an internet modem. For a web-based prediction of CO concentration, a Fuzzy Time Series algorithm induced by Pritpal Sing matrix is used. This research uses CO concentration data for two months. The resulting carbon monoxide concentration   prediction   is  displayed   in  real  time  on  a dashboard. This prediction is for the next day’s forecast. Results show that the Fuzzy Time Series that is induced by Pritpal Sing matrix has an average error of 2.67 %, calculated  with its average forecasting error rate (AFER). This error value varies, depending on the number of data and data characteristics.

Abstract

Promosi jabatan memiliki peranan penting sebagai salah satu pergerakan pertumbuhan perusahaan. Bank indonesia provinsi sumatera selatan merupakan salah satu tempat mempunyai fungsi penting di dalam melayani masyarakat terutama masyarakat yang berada di provinsi sumatera selatan. Dalam pemilihan jabatan manajer terkadang sulit untuk menentukan siapa yangg layak dijadikan manajer karena banyaknya kriteria yang sama untuk penilaian jabatan manajer serta belum adanya sisstem yang memiliki permodelan data untuk mendukung suatu sistem pendukung keputusan. Untuk meminimalkan kendala tersebut maka diperlukan suatu sistem pendukung keputusan yang dapat membantu para pengambil keputusan (decision maker) menganalisa promosi jabatan manajer yang layakmendapatkan prioritasnya. Abstract

Crime is a global issue that arises as a consequence of social problems in society such as poverty and densely population due to urbanization. In large cities, governments have applied technology to support crime prevention. In this paper, a mobile-based system is proposed to increase knowledge and public awareness which may reduce the risk of crimes. A context-aware system, namely, geo-fence, is used to enable virtual fences around crime hotspots. Crime hotspots are determined using crime histories and crowd-sourced data provided by citizens. As citizens enter crime hotspots, they would be alerted and provided information. Meanwhile, if they find or experience crime, they are able to report and label the location of the crime.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah memberikan informasi yang berlimpah kepada semua orang dengan segala macam kemudahan/fasilitas. Masyarakat dengan menggunakan komputer/gadget dapat mengakses konten digital seluruh dunia, dari mana saja dan kapan saja selama terkoneksi dengan jaringan internet. Banyak hal positif yang bisa didapatkan dengan pemanfaatan produk-produk internet sekarang ini.  Internet yang dapat digunakan sebagai media update berbagai ilmu pengetahuan. Internet juga merupakan tempat bertebaran data pribadi yang bersifat sensitif yang dapat disalah gunakan oleh pihak yang tidak berwenang, data-data tersebut seperti email, password, dan account-account berharga seperti internet banking. Informasi-informasi tersebut akan sangat rentan terhadap phising, scam dan spam . Pada pengabdian kepada masyarakat tahun 2019 di kota pangkal Pinang telah dilakukan Workshop Teknik Keamanan Jaringan Internet Pada Siswa Sma/Smk Di Pangkal Pinang, sehingga para peserta dapat memaksimalkan manfaat internet dan mengurangi hal negatif dari internet.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how to develop an android application that can be used to support students’ needs and implement the application in learning process in order to improve students' pronunciation ability. Sampling was done by purposive sampling and got 40 students from English Education Study Program Faculty of Teacher Training and Education of Universitas Sriwijaya in the first intake of academic year 2017/2018. The instrument of data collection is questionnaire. The analysis technique is the analysis of questionnaire that aims at the affective aspects using this application during the learning process. To conclude, overall, the students can understand and use android application well and affectively effects the students behavior.

Abstract

Knowledge management (KM) merupakan ilmu untuk mendokumentasikan dan meyebarkan Knowledge. Salah satu proses dalam knowledge management system adalah knowledge sharing. Pada penelitian terdahulu, penulis telah menerapkan algoritma string matching untuk membantu proses knowledge sharing. Penulis telah menerapkan algoritma string matching untuk membantu proses knowledge sharing. Algortima string matching yang digunakan adalah Bruto force, Knuth Morris Path(KMP). Pada Peneltian ini penulis akan menggunakan algorima string macthing Colussi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan Algoritma colossi mempunyai waktu pencarian lebih cepat dibandingkan Algorimta string matching lainnya seperti Algoritma Knutt Morris Patt dan Algoritma Boyer Moore.

Abstract

Penggunaan teknologi dalam sistem operasional perusahaan akan menuntut organisasi memiliki berbagai bentuk informasi. Umumnya, organisasi memiliki data dan informasi secara kuantitas tetapi tidak dengan kualitasnya, ini berarti bahwa data dan informasi tersebut masih memiliki kekurangan pada karakteristik tertentu yang sangat penting dan sangat dibutuhkan pada saat data dan informasi tersebut akan digunakan. Timbulnya risiko informasi yang diakibatkan oleh rendahnya kualitas informasi tentu akan memberikan dampak pada berbagai aspek bisnis pada organisasi/perusahaan. Risiko informasi juga dapat menghambat performa organisasi/ perusahaan. Sehingga pihak pengambil keputusan harus melakukan langkah proaktif dalam melakukan penilaian risiko informasi terkait. Ada banyak metode yang dapat digunakan untuk melakukan manajemen risiko, antara lain : metode FMEA, Octave, NIST SP 800-30, ISO 31000, dan Total Information Risk Management (TIRM).  Dari beberapa metode tersebut, proses manajemen risiko dengan TIRM dilakukan sedikit berbeda, yakni melibatkan identifikasi terhadap dimensi kualitas informasi yang digunakan oleh perusahaan. Sehingga, proses manajemen risiko informasi melibatkan penilaian terhadap kualitas informasi terlebih dahulu. Berdasarkan proses identifikasi risiko terhadap sistem informasi operasional pada PT. PELABUHAN X, diperoleh 11 potensi kegagalan atau risiko dimana pada potensi kegagalan tersebut terbagi menjadi 6 kriteria kualitas informasi. Ranking high teridentifikasi pada kriteria aksesibilitas Informasi. Dengan mengetahui urutan nilai prioritas risiko, perusahaan dapat melakukan pencegahan terjadinya risiko lebih dini terhadap risiko yang memiliki nilai prioritas tinggi (High) serta akan mempermudah proses pengambilan keputusan karena masing-masing risiko sudah diidentifikasi. Kata kunci: penilaian, risiko informasi, pelabuhan, sistem operasional
