Abstract

Purpose- This study aims to determine the effect of organizational culture, communication, and religiosity on work engagement mediated by work motivation at the Bureau of Personnel and Organization, Main Secretariat of the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency. Design/methodology/approach- The population in this study was 143 Civil Servants (PNS). Samples were taken by a population of 143 people. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and interviews, while the analytical tool used is the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using AMOS version 22. Findings- The results of this study indicate that organizational culture, communication, and religiosity do not have a significant positive effect on work motivation and work engagement. Work motivation is not proven as a mediator of cultural, communication, and religiosity relations to work attachment. Implications- To improve the organizational culture of personnel and organization bureaus can be done through enhancing activities that support the re-culture of the organization in the routine activities of the Personnel and Organizations Bureau. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of interpersonal relationships and work incentives on work motivation and organizational commitment of PT. Technology Karya Mandiri. The research sample was total all employees of 70 respondents. The method of collecting data through a questionnaire and used path analysis method using SmartPLS 3.0. Based on the results of the study, work motivation and organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on interpersonal relationships. Work motivation and organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on work incentives. Moreover, Organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on work motivation. Work motivation has a negative and not significant effect on interpersonal relationships through organizational commitment. Work motivation has a negative and not significant effect on work incentives through organizational commitment. This study gives implications to provide a knowledge and optimization of human resource management strategies. The enhancement of motivation and commitment can be well received by his subordinates and other continuous efforts are made to improve both operational improvement and continuous improvement to create a highly dedicated human resources management.

Abstract

In the modern era, the leadership values and processes that must be passed by someone to become a leader has been changed. The evolution of mind and social life has changed the paradigm of modern humans in the view of the concept of leadership. To be a leader, a person must speak and train himself to have the character, abilities or qualities that should be owned by leaders. The Students who manage intra-school organizations (OSIS) are one of the forerunners of future leaders in the future and have an interest in driving change in their respective schools so that they become better. As a form of caring in building a leadership model that has integrity, Indonesia College of Economics conducts leadership training and coaching for OSIS administrators in SMA & SMK Negeri as well as the private sector in North Jakarta. The method used in this training consisted of lecture activities, question and answer sessions, discussion of case studies, by explaining the basic concepts of visionary leadership, participative leadership styles, change leadership and how to make decisions correctly. After this training, it is hoped that the student council officials will possess and demonstrate leadership motivation skills that are ready to challenge and can inspire students in their respective school environments.

Abstract

The objective of this study is analyzed the impact of organizational culture, training, and leadership on the work performance of civil workers in financial and development supervisory agency. This research uses an associative approach with simple random sampling technique which is measured by SEM using the Smart PLS 3.0 application. The population of this study was 330 civil workers in Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP). The results of the study shown that the Organizational Culture Variables did not significantly influence work Performance of the civil worker in Financial and Development Supervisory Agency, but do not pass the reliability test. Training Variables have a positive and significant effect on the work performance of the civil workers. Leadership variables have a positive and significant effect on the work performance of the civil workers in Financial and Development Supervisory Agency.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Usaha mikro, kecil dan menengah telah menjadi salah satu tulang punggung perekonomian Indonesia dan ASEAN. Presiden Jokowi Widodo memiliki harapan bahwa para pelaku bisnis usaha kecil ini dapat menjadi tumpuan utama dalam membangun keberlangsungan dan kemajuan bisnis di Indonesia. Dalam kondisi saat ini pemanfaatan sarana teknologi, informasi dan komunikasi dalam melakukan perdagangan secara elektronik adalah keharusan yang dilakukan oleh para pengusaha mikro, kecil dan menengah (UMKM) dalam upaya meningkatkan omset penjualan dan memberikan nilai lebih kepada konsumen. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat bertujuan untuk merubah para pelaku UMKM disekitar wilayah Rawamangun untuk menjadi seorang wirausaha kreatif yang memiliki nilai ekonomis tinggi serta bisnis yang memiliki keberlanjutan dalam meningkatkan keterampilan dan pengetahuan yang secara mendalam mengenai pemanfaatan teknologi informasi, lebih khususnya pada perdagangan elektronik. Metode yang digunakan pada pelatihan ini berupa ceramah, praktik, tanya-jawab dan studi kasus dengan menjelaskan konsep dan strategi pemasaran digital, serta coaching yang efektif serta mendapatkan umpan balik dari para peserta. Kegiatan ini juga memberikan manfaat berkelanjutan bagi peserta dalam pengarahan dan konsultasi bisnis secara intensif dalam menjalankan usaha mikro berbasis online demi meningkatkan potensi kerjasama yang luas untuk membangun ekonomi rakyat. ABSTRACT Small medium enterprises (SME’s) have become the backbone of the economies of Indonesia and ASEAN. President Jokowi Widodo has hopes that these small business entrepreneurs can become the main foundation in building business sustainability in Indonesia. Currently, the use of technology, information and communication facilities in e-commerce is a must need to do by SME’s as an effort to increase sales turnover and provide more value to consumers. This community service activities aim to transform SME’s around Rawamangun area into creative entrepreneur that have high value of economic and business sustainability in order to improve skills and knowledge in depth regarding the use of information technology, especially through e-commerce. The method used in this training is in the form of lectures, practices, questions and answers and case studies by explaining digital marketing concepts and strategies, as well as effective coaching and getting feedback from the participants. These activities also provide ongoing benefits for participants in business direction and consultation intensively in running online based micro business in order to increase the potential for cooperation to build the people's economy.

Abstract

Private higher education has been struggling to survive in the era of change by employing various strategies. The present study takes an archival research approach to analyze how private universities respond, adapt, and adjust their strategies to survive and grow during this disruption. Specifically, the data collection process follows the five stages of the historical method: topic selection and evidence collection, evaluation of the source of the evidence, evaluation of the evidence, analysis and interpretation of the evidence; and evidence presentation and conclusion. A systematic content analysis of the strategies undertaken by the private university has resulted in four key typology strategies: survival, synchronizing; stretching, and supremacy. The four strategies are interrelated and may overlap in some cases. However, survival reflects a survival-based strategy. Stretching and synchronizing facilitate survival and provide potential growth, and supremacy strategy provides potential favorable long-term image and relationships with the key stakeholders. These strategies may assist private higher education to survive and grow further in this era of change.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on traditional retail MSMEs from the operational and financial business side in Indonesia, to find out the role and support from the government and related parties (private and state-owned enterprises) to help traditional retail MSMEs survive during the pandemic. Covid 19 and knowing the strategy and direction of business transformation from traditional retail MSMEs in terms of financial operations and marketing strategies in order to be able to survive during the pandemic. Design This research is a survey (as primary data) of owners of traditional retail stalls using quantitative descriptive analysis method. The results of this study are that the Covid 19 pandemic has an impact on traditional retail MSMEs with a decrease in turnover of retail shops / stalls compared to the period before the Covid-19 pandemic of 63.98%. The condition of the adequacy of the retail shop/stall business cash compared to the operating costs of the business during the Covid 19 pandemic which was under 12 months as much as 84.37%. Traditional retail stalls stated that 73.55% had never received assistance from the Government as a result of Covid-19 and 88.37% stated that they had never received assistance from private companies during the Covid pandemic. The Financial & Operational Strategy carried out by Traditional retail stalls in order to be able to survive and continue to grow during the Covid-19 Pandemic is to carry out cost efficiency as much as 34.33% with the Marketing Strategy is to complete the products sold in small packages/ renceng/sachets as much as 33, 58% and do wholesale orders online as much as 32.83%. The projected turnover of traditional retail stall businesses in 2021 has decreased, confirmed by 64.54% with projected operating profits in 2021 experiencing a decrease of 65.66%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of talent management on the formation of a learning organization and employee engagement at PT Hipernet Indodata head office. There were 60 employees participated as the samples. which data was collected using a questionnaire. The statistical analysis technique used is Path Analysis with smartPLS 3.0 program. The results showed that Talent Attraction has a significant positive effect on Learning Organization, Talent Development has an insignificant negative effect on Learning Organization, Talent Retention has a significant positive effect on Learning Organization, Talent Attraction has no significant positive effect on Employee Engagement, Talent Development has insignificant negative effect on Employee Engagement, Talent Retention has a significant positive effect on Employee Engagement, Talent Attraction has no significant positive effect on Employee Engagement through Learning Organization, Talent Development has no negative effect significant impact on Employee Engagement through Learning Organization, Talent Retention has no significant positive effect on Employee Engagement through Learning Organization.

This study aims to identify how private universities in Indonesia survive and develop and identify development strategies used by private universities in Indonesia in facing the era of change. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a literature review research design and historical analysis methods. The data is sourced from news and journals, a total of 602 data sources and obtained from online publications through trusted sites and indexes. The results of this study are in the form of a strategy typology that can provide a broader view for private universities if they want to develop their institutions according to the resources they have. Specifically, the data collection process follows the five stages of the historical method in the topic selection and evidence collection; evaluation of the source of the evidence; evaluation of the evidence; analysis and interpretation of the evidence; and evidence presentation and conclusion. Developments in educational institutions can be in the form of restructuring, exploring new markets, establishing cooperation or networking with external parties, participating in private higher education development programs, developing human resources in private universities, especially educators and education staff, as well as university social responsibility.
