Abstract

Abstract: Employees are the most valuable asset in every organization. The purpose of this study is toanalyze and determine the dominant factors that affect employee performance. Latent variables in this study are individual factors, psychological factors, and organizational factors as exogenous variables as well as performance of the employee as the endogenous variable. The results obtained from Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis suggest that employee performance is determined by creativity and innovation. Employeeperformance is influenced by individual factors and psychological factors. Individual factors that influence employee performance are reflected by indicators of ability and skill. Psychological factors that directly affect performance of the employees are represented by the learning process. While organizational factors reflected by leadership, job design, and, supervision do not affect employees performance. Abstract

The lack of human resources is one of the problem that small and medium enterprises (SMEs) has faced. Human resources in SMEs dont have sufficient knowledge and information and it effects the performances of SMEs. Dealing with people of ASEAN Economic Community will effect the resistance of SMEs in Bogor, due to the competitive and making an increase in quality of human resources towards SMEs in Bogor. This research was to analyze the effect of the learning organization and innovation towards performance of SMEs in Bogor. This research was conducted in Bogor with 46 samples for SMEs and 149 for respondent samples. The technique of sampling was conducted by using multi stage sampling namely the combination of stratified random sampling and proportional sampling. The tabulation data was analyzed by Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) by approaching of Partial Least Square (PLS). The result of this research were (1) the existence of significant influence between learning organization toward innovation, (2) the learning organization gives a significant effect towards the performance of SMEs, (3) innovation gives a significant effect towards the performance of SMEs in Bogor.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kontribusi dan standar kompetensi praktisi Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia (MSDM) di Indonesia saat ini. Analisis situasional dilakukan secara statistik deskriptif dengan melibatkan 177 praktisi MSDM dan pengguna jasa layanan praktisi MSDM melalui kuesioner daring dan dokumen fisik menggunakan non-random purposive sampling. Kuesioner analisis situasional berhasil memetakan persepsi praktisi MSDM dan pengguna jasa layanan praktisi MSDM yang menyatakan (1) pentingnya kontribusi praktisi MSDM terhadap kinerja organisasi; (2) peran praktisi MSDM yang diharapkan di masa depan yang menekankan pada peran strategis sebagai Strategic Partner; (3) pentingnya standar sasaran kinerja dan sertifikasi profesi; serta (4) usulan penyempurnaan Standar Kompetensi Kerja Nasional Indonesia (SKKNI) MSDM berupa enam kompetensi tambahan yaitu kemampuan memahami kegiatan operasional proses bisnis organisasi, kemampuan menggunakan media sosial dalam menunjang peran sebagai praktisi SDM, kemampuan berhubungan dan meyakinkan orang lain, kemampuan mendapatkan kepercayaan orang lain melalui pencapaian hasil, manajemen proyek, dan audit SDM.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku masyarakat menggunakan alat pembayaran elektronik (APE). Pengertian APE dalam penelitian ini dibatasi pada kartu debet dan kredit. Penggunaan APE di Indonesia saat ini masih menghadapi permasalahan yang kompleks. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dengan memberikan kuesioner kepada responden. Survei dilakukan kepada masyarakat di wilayah Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang dan Bekasi (Jabodetabek) dengan total responden 400 orang. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Kriteria yang dipergunakan dalam memilih sampel penelitian adalah responden yang berusia antara 17-56 tahun mengingat usia ini adalah usia kerja produktif dan merupakan nasabah aktif pemilik akun di bank selaku pemegang kartu debet atau kartu kredit. Untuk menjawab tujuan penelitian tersebut, digunakan Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). Menurut teori perilaku yang direncanakan (the planned behavior theory), behavior dipengaruhi oleh intention, sedangkan intention dipengaruhi oleh attitude, subjektif norm, dan perceived behavioral control. Hasil analisis SEM menunjukkan bahwa behavior masyarakat dalam menggunakan APE dipengaruhi secara dominan oleh intention, sementara intention tersebut dipengaruhi oleh perceived behavioral control. The objective  of this study is to analyze the factors that influence people's behavior in using Electronic Payment Instruments (APE). In this study, the definition of APE is limited to debit and credit card. The use of APE in Indonesia is still facing complex problems. Abstract

Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh UKM salah satunya ada keterbatasan sumberdaya manusia, yaitu kurangnya pengetahuan dan informasi yang dimiliki sehingga berpengaruh terhadap kinerja UKM.  Menghadapi Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN akan mempengaruhi daya tahan UKM Kota Bogor karena persaingan yang semakin ketat dan melakukan perbaikan kualitas sumberdaya manusia pada UKM di Kota Bogor.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh dari organisasi pembelajar dan inovasi terhadap kinerja UKM Kota Bogor.  Penelitian ini dilakukan di Bogor dengan jumlah sampel UKM sebanyak 46 UKM dan sampel responden berjumlah 149 orang.  Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik multi stage sampling yaitu gabungan dari teknik stratified random sampling dan proportional sampling. Abstract

Ever since the concept of Quality of Work Life (QWL) was first used over 30 years ago, arrange of definition and theoretical constructs have succeeded each other with the aim of mitigating the many problems facing the concePT  This study was aimed to improve employees motivation by implementing QWL programs in the cattle fattening industry as a case study.  The research showed that according to Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), priority of main factors are: (1) participative job design; (2) democratic supervision; (3) participation on profit sharing; (4) quality circle; (5) participation in decision making process. Results of this analysis indicated that the formal program was suggested as a strategic alternative in implementing QWL. This finding contributes to operationalization of the QWL theory. Drawing on the dependent nature of employees and organizations, the implication are that the organization must provide support structures, such as employee development and career advancement opportunities, when seeking to transform the QWL. In this way, it can improve working conditions, achieve higher motivation from individual employees, and thus improve the performance of the organization.Keywords: Proses Hierarki Analitik, Job Design, Motivasi, Partisipasi, Quality of Work Life, Quality Circle.

Abstract

This paper is based on the importance of knowledge sharing to create innovation in an organization to overcome the problem of PTPN competition with the private sector. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between knowledge sharing variables, which are tacit knowledge sharing and explicit knowledge sharing, on innovation variables, which are speed innovation and quality innovation. The data collection method used a questionnaire with a sample of 100 employees and data were analyzed using canonical correlation analysis. The results of the study showed that there was an influence on each variable. Explicit knowledge sharing had influence on the speed and quality of innovation and explicit knowledge sharing had influence on the speed and quality of innovation. Conclusions from this study were that both variables had a strong relationship, so companies can consider these variables in strategic planning.

Abstract

Abstrak. Menjaga keberlanjutan UKM memiliki tantangan berat di era persaingan yang semakin ketat. Gaya kepemimpinan yang tepat, siklus hidup organisasi yang panjang, karyawan yang berkompeten, dan menjadi organisasi pembelajar merupakan isu utama dalam keberlanjutan UKM. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan, siklus hidup organisasi, kompetensi, dan organisasi pembelajar terhadap keberlanjutan UKM klaster kerajinan batik di Cirebon. Metode analisa yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan SEM-PLS. Sampel yang diambil sebesar 88 responden. Penarikan sampel menggunakan teknik quota sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap siklus hidup organisasi, kompetensi, dan organisasi pembelajar. Kompetensi dipengaruhi secara positif dan signifikan oleh siklus hidup organisasi dan organisasi pembelajar. Keberlanjutan UKM dipengaruhi secara positif dan signifikan oleh kompetensi dan organisasi pembelajar, tetapi tidak oleh siklus hidup organisasi. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa keberlanjutan UKM klaster kerajinan batik di Cirebon dipengaruhi oleh kompetensi karyawan dan juga penerapan organisasi pembelajar.Kata Kunci: Gaya kepemimpinan, siklus hidup organisasi, kompetensi, organisasi pembelajar, keberlanjutan ukm, ukm batik cirebonAbstract. Maintaining the continuity of SMEs has a tough challenge in an era of fierce competition. The right leadership style, long life cycle organization, employees who are competent, and become a learning organization on the main issues in the sustainability of SMEs. This study aimed to analyze the effect of leadership style, the life cycle of the organization, competence, and learning organization to SMEs sustainability clusters in Cirebon batik. The data were analyzed using SEM-PLS. Quota sampling were used for sampling and there were 88 respondents. The results showed that the style of leadership and a significant positive effect on the life cycle of the organization, competence and learning organization. Competence positively and significantly influenced by the life cycle of the organization and learning organization. Sustainability of SMEs positively and significantly influenced by the competence and learning organizations, but not by the life cycle of an organization. This suggests that the sustainability of SMEs cluster in Cirebon batik is influenced by the competence of employees and also the implementation of a learning organization.Keywords: Leadership style, organization life cycle, competence, learning organization, sustainability of SMEs, Cirebon batik SMEs

Abstract

Abstrak. Pelaksanaan Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN (MEA) akan dimulai pada awal 2016 sesuai dengan kesepakatan yang ditandatangai oleh semua Kepala Negara ASEAN. Salah satu kesepakatan dalam MEA adalah aliran bebas tenaga kerja ahli dan trampil termasuk di bidang jasa Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia (MSDM). Praktisi MSDM di Indonesia tidak sepenuhnya siap menghadapi persaingan yang semakin terbuka ini. Kompetensi praktisi Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia (MSDM) di Indonesia perlu diteliti secara mendalam untuk mengetahui keberadaannya dilihat dari sisi praktisi MSDM. Penelitian ini menggunakan metoda statistik deskriptif untuk memetakan pendapat, persepsi, dan opini praktisi MSDM tentang kompetensinya. Responden yang dilibatkan dalam penelitian ini meliputi praktisi MSDM di Jabodetabek serta kota-kota besar di pulau Jawa, sesuai dengan lokasi utama organisasi/perusahaan swasta. Kerangka sampling yang dipergunakan adalah purposive non random sampling yang ditujukan pada anggota Perhimpunan Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia (PMSM) Indonesia melalui studi kuisioner secara online. Responden yang telah mengisi kuisioner secara lengkap sebanyak 250 orang. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa latar belakang pendidikan yang berkarir di MSDM beragam dari berbagai lulusan dan didominasi dari Jurusan Manajemen, kemudian disusul Psikologi, Teknik, dan Hukum. Evolusi profesi MSDM di Indonesia menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar praktisi MSDM Indonesia (35%) masih terlibat dalam aktivitas administrasi dan Hubungan Industrial, sebanyak 21% sudah terlibat dalam pengambilan keputusan yang strategis, dan 20% sudah bertindak sebagai mitra strategis dan agen perubahan. Standar kompetensi praktisi MSDM beserta program pengembangan dan sertifikasinya dipersepsikan sangat penting serta memiliki urgensi yang tinggi untuk dikembangkan, walaupun pemerataan kesempatan untuk mengembangkan kompetensi tersebut tidak merata di seluruh Indonesia. Organisasi/perusahaan telah memberikan penghargaan yang signifikan pada profesi MSDM dengan 34,8% posisi tertingginya berada di level direktur, 14% berada di posisi general manager, dan 32,4% di posisi manajer. Lebih dari setengah responden menyatakan kurang siap menghadapi Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN (MEA), sehingga proses percepatan pengembangan kompetensi praktisi MSDM di Indonesia perlu dilakukan untuk meningkatkan daya saingnya dalam kompetisi regional dan global.Kata kunci: Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN, kompetensi, praktisi Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia Indonesia, purposive non random sampling, statistik deskriptif.Abstract. ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) will be implemented at the early 2016 referred to the agreement signed by all ASEAN countries' leaders. One of the agreement content is the free flow of skilled labor including Human Resources (HR) professional. Indonesia's HR practitioners are not fully ready to face this upcoming more open competition. HR professional competency in Indonesia needs to be examined deeply to find its existence to be seen from HR practitioners' point of view. This research uses descriptive statistic method to map ideas, perceptions, and opinions from HR practitioners pertaining their competencies. Respondents come from Jabodetabek area and the big cities in Java Island due to the main location of private companies. Sampling frame is purposive non random sampling to cover members of Indonesia HR Management Association via online questionnaire study. There are 250 respondents who filled the questionnaries completely. Research findings show that the educational background of Indonesia's HR practitioners is various and dominated by Management, then followed by Psychology, Technic, and Law. HR evolution in Indonesia indicates mostly being exposed in administration dan industrial relations (35%), 21% has been involved in strategic decision making process, and 20% has demonstrated as strategic partner and change agent. HR competency standard and its development and certification programs are perceived very important and urgent to be developed further, although the uqualization of development opportunity is not well distributed across Indonesia areas. Organization/company has already showed significant recognition to HR profession by giving the highest position at director level (34,8%), General Manager (14%), and Manager (32,4%). More than half respondent stated not ready to face the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), however the acceleration process of HR practitioners' competency development program needs to be done in order to enhance the competitiveness in regional and global competition.Keywords: ASEAN Economic Community, competency, descriptive statistic, Indonesia's Human Resources practitioner, purposive non random sampling.
