Abstract

The development of MOOCs-based learning media is essential for increasing student motivation. This study aims to analyze the needs of developing MOOCs-based learning media to increase students' motivation on temperature and heat material. This type of research is survey research and literature study as a basis for further development research. The research instrument used was a needs analysis questionnaire with 17 questions given to 75 respondents from SMA Negeri 1, SMA Negeri 6, and SMA Negeri 9 Bengkulu. In this study, data analysis used descriptive statistics. Based on the results of the study obtained data that can be concluded that currently, students need the development of learning media based on MOOCs to increase student motivation on temperature and heat material. This study concluded that the development of MOOCs-based learning media to increase students' motivation on the material of temperature and heat is needed in learning. Overall, this research implies that MOOCs-based learning media is needed to increase students' motivation, especially in learning the material of temperature and heat. The implications in learning other materials are highly recommended to be implemented to use the given learning media to gain effectiveness in learning activities, especially in learning the material of temperature and heat.

Abstract

ABSTRACT            This study aims to: know the value of emissivity of purple, green, blue, red, light green, light blue, orange, yellow, pink, and improvement of learning outcomes by using PBL model on the concept of heat transfer class X TKR SMKN 2 Bengkulu Tengah, and explain the difference of students' cognitive learning outcomes in high, medium and low group. This study deals with the measurement of color emissivity and its implementation in physics learning on the topic of heat transfer. The population in this study is all students of class X SMK Negeri 2 Bengkulu Tengah academic year 2016/2017. The sample is taken by purposive sampling technique, that is class X.TKR (Light Vehicle Technique) which is taught by Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. This research is a quasi experimental research with One Group pretest-posttest design. The results showed that the purple comet value was 0.91, the green emissivity (going green) was 0.84, the blue emissivity (true blue) was 0.77, the red color emissivity (talk of the town) 0.66, light green color emissivity (apple martini) of 0.61, blue sky emissivity of 0.54, orange torch emission of 0,50, emissivity of light brown (pastry puff) of 0.46, yellow color emission (absolute yellow) of 0.37, and pink emissivity (crystal pink) of 0.24; There is an increase in learning outcomes on the concept of high, medium and low group high caloric transfer with N-gain values of 0.76 (high), 0.64 (medium), and 0.46 (moderate); There was a difference of students' cognitive learning outcomes in the high, medium and low groups shown by Fcount> Ftable (4.40> 3.35) at the 5% significance level.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) Mendeskripsikan pem bekalan keterampilan abad 21 pada aspek keterampilan LTIK yang telah di berikan pada siswa menurut persepsi guru SMA kota Bengkulu dalam mata pelajaran fisika. (2) Mendeskripsikan pembekalan keterampilan abad 21 pada aspek keterampilan LTIK yang telah dilakukan guru  menurut persepsi siswa SMA kota Bengkulu dalam mata pelajaran fisika. (3) Mendeskripsikan penguasaan keterampilan abad 21 pada aspek keterampilan LTIK yang dimiliki siswa menurut persepsi dirinya sendiri siswa SMA kota Bengkulu dalam mata pelajaran fisika. (4) Mendeskripsikan keterampilan abad 21 pada aspek keterampilan LTIK siswa menurut persepsi teman sebaya SMA kota Bengkulu dalam mata pelajaran fisika. Jenis yang penelitian ini adalah Descriptive Research. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 90 siswa dan 3 guru fisika dari 3 SMA yang berbeda di Kota Bengkulu. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner, wawancara dan observasi. Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh pembekalan dan penguasaan keterampilan abad 21 pada aspek literasi teknologi informasi dan komunikasi siswa SMA Negeri Kota Bengkulu dalam mata pelajaran fisika menurut persepsi guru, dirinya sendiri dan teman sebaya berada pada kategori baik. Hasil yang diperoleh dapat dijadikan sebagai need assessment bagi penelitian RND (Reasearch And Development) seperti pengembangan media pembelajaran, modul pembelajaran model pembelajaran.Kata Kunci: pembekalan, keterampilan abad 21, keterampilan literasi teknologi informasi dan komunikasi, pelajaran fisika, descriptive reasearch ABSTRACT This reasearch has aimed to (1) to describe debriefing of  century skills on aspects of LTIK skills that have been given to students according to the perceptions of Bengkulu city high school teachers in physics subjects. (2) to describe debriefing of  century skills on aspects of LTIK skills that have been carried out by teachers according to the perceptions of Bengkulu city high school students in physics subjects. (3) describe the provision of 21st century skills in aspects of information and communication technology literacy skills possessed by students according to their own perception of bengkulu high school students in physics subjects. (4) describe the provision of  century skills in aspects of LTIK skills that students have according to their own perceptions of high school students in Bengkulu City in physics. The type of research that this is Descriptive Research. The study sample was 90 students and 3 physics teachers from 3 high schools in the city of Bengkulu. Data collection techniques used in this study are questionnaires, interviews and observations. Based on data analysis, it was obtained and mastery by providing of 21st century skills in the aspects of information and communication technology literacy for Bengkulu city high school students in physics according to teacher perceptions, themselves and their peers were in a good category. The results obtained can be used as a need assessment for RND (Reasearch And Development) research such as learning media development, learning model learning modules.Keywords: debriefing,  century skills, information and communication technology literacy skills, physics subjects, descriptive reasearch.

Abstract

This paper presents trajectory tracking on omni robots using odometry method. The odometry system aims to estimate the position relative to the initial position of the omni robot to estimate changes in position over time. The rotary encoder sensor is used to count the movement of the omni robot at the xand y coordinates in the odometry calculation process in this study. Furthermore, using the reverse kinematics on the omni robot, the rotational speed value of each DC motor in the omni robot wheel is obtained. In addition, to obtain the results of a good robot movement on the odometry system, PID control is applied to control the rotational speed of each DC motor on the omni robot wheel. With reverse kinematics and odometry systems, omni robot trajectory designs can be easily built. To test the odometry method performance in trajectory tracking process, there are three types of trajectory testing patterns, namely rectangles, equilateral triangles, and equilateral triangles. From the results of this test, the error value obtained is below 5%.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan profesionalitas guru dalam mengintegrasikan pendidikan mitigasi melalui pembelajaran sains sebagai upaya membangun kesadaran mitigasi dari jenjang sekolah. Kegiatan ini melibatkan 50 orang guru IPA dilaksanakan pada tanggal 12 Oktober 2020 bertempat di SMP 6 seluma. Instrument yang digunakan dalam kegiatan PPM ini adalah angket untuk menjaring data persepsi guru dan penugasan mandiri. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan diketahui bahwa guru berpendapat pendidikan mitigasi penting untuk dilakukan dalam rangka membangun kesadaran mitigasi siswa, konsep sains berkaitan erat dengan berbagai fenomena alam termasuk fenomena bencana kebumian. Konsep sains sangat potensial untuk diintegrasikan dengan pendidikan mitigasi Berdasarkan uraian diatas maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa integrasi pendidikan mitigasi sangat penting terutama untuk daerah rawan bencana alam seperti provinsi Bengkulu. Integrasi pendidikan mitigasi sangat potensial untuk dilakukan melalui pembelajaran sains mengingat karakter konsep sains yang berkaitan erat dengan berbagai fenomena alam

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan pengembangan alat peraga pada materi ayunan sederhana berbasis Arduino UNO untuk siswa SMA. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan menganalisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif dan disimpulkan menggunakan analisis kualitatif. Penelitian ini merupakan bagian dari penelitian R&D dengan metode penelitian 4D yang dibatasi pada tahap define. Tahapan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tahap analisis kebutuhan, instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar observasi sekolah, lembar wawancara, dan angket kebutuhan alat peraga berbasis Arduino. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan data observasi, wawancara, dan data angket. Sampel data dalam penelitian ini adalah 84 siswa kelas XI IPA dan 3 guru fisika di 3 SMAN di Kota Bengkulu, yaitu SMAN 01 Kota Bengkulu, SMAN 02 Kota Bengkulu, dan SMAN 08 Kota Bengkulu. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran berupa alat peraga sangat dibutuhkan oleh guru dan siswa dalam menunjang proses pembelajaran. Hal ini berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dari hasil uji validitas menjelaskan jumlah siswa yang valid (N) yaitu 84 siswa dengan prosentase 100% dan hasil uji reliabilitas menjelaskan 17 butir soal yang dihitung menggunakan metode cronbach's alpha diperoleh hasil 0,645 dengan nilai standar item Cronbach's alpha sebesar 0,650. Dari hasil data yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa instrumen yang digunakan valid dan reliabel. Oleh karena itu dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, peneliti berharap dapat memberikan kontribusi yang lebih kepada praktisi pendidikan sehingga dapat mengembangkan alat peraga berupa alat peraga materi ayunan sederhana untuk siswa. This study aims to analyze the need for developing teaching aids on a simple Arduino UNO-based swing material for high school students. The data analysis technique was carried out by analyzing qualitative and quantitative data using qualitative analysis. This research is part of R&D research with the 4D research method, which is limited to the define stage. The stages used in this study are the needs analysis stage. The instruments used in this research are school observation sheets, interview sheets, and a questionnaire on the need for Arduino-based teaching aids. Data collection techniques used observation data, interviews, and questionnaire data. The sample data in this study were 84 students of class XI science and three physics teachers at 3 SMAN in Bengkulu City, SMAN 01 Bengkulu City, SMAN 02 Bengkulu City, and SMAN 08 Bengkulu City. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that teachers and students need learning media in the form of teaching aids to support the learning process. This is based on the data obtained from the validity test results explaining the number of valid students (N), namely 84 students with a 100% and the reliability test results explaining 17 items calculated using Cronbach's alpha method. The result obtained is 0.645, with a standard value of Cronbach's alpha items of 0.650. The results of the data obtained indicate that the instrument used is valid and reliable. Therefore, from the results of the research that has been done, the researcher hopes to make more contributions to educational practitioners so that they can develop teaching aids in the form of simple swing material props for students.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose this research was depelove learning design products scaffolding oriented cognitive perturbation and obtaining data on student responses. This research was a development research with ADDIE design (Analysis, Design, Develop, Implementation and Evaluation). Research limited development stage. The research sample was 19 students of Master of Science education at a state university in Bengkulu City. The research instrument was on the form design and material expert validation questionnaire, as well as a student response questionnaire to the developed learning design. Data was collected by giving validation questionnaires to 4 expert lecturers in the field of statistical design and material. Data analysis used quantitative data analysis with descriptive statistics which were then narrated qualitatively. The results showed learning design was categorized as very feasible from the design and material aspects with a percentage of 95.03%. Based on students' responses to the learning design that was developed based on aspects of the learning process and benefits, the average percentage scores were 95.57% and 93%, respectively. These results indicate that the learning design developed can be an alternative solution in the learning process during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan pengembangan unit pembelajaran pemanasan global berbantuan augmented reality terintegrasi data cuaca untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan. Metode penelitian ini termasuk penelitian deskriptif  yang termasuk ke dalam penelitian research and development (R&D) dengan model penelitian ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation dan Evaluation). Penelitian ini menggunakan tahap Analysis, bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan unit pembelajaran pemanasan global berbantuan augmented reality terintegrasi data cuaca. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa lembar angket kebutuhan siswa dan lembar observasi. Bahan ajar yang akan dikembangkan yaitu unit pembelajaran yang dapat memuat teks, gambar serta video yang berkaitan dengan materi. Untuk menyajikan video pembelajaran menggunakan aplikasi augmented reality serta materi didukung dengan data cuaca. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket kebutuhan dan observasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil analisis kebutuhan 35 siswa terdapat pembelajaran fisika sebesar 74% pada kategori setuju, indikator tampilan unit pembelajaran sebesar 69% pada kategori setuju, indikator atribut pendukung unit pembelajaran yaitu sebesar 79% pada kategori sangat setuju, indikator keterampilan yang akan dilatihkan sebesar 79% pada kategori sangat setuju. Hasil tersebut menunjukan perlunya dikembangkan bahan ajar berupa unit pembelajaran berbantuan augmented reality terintegrasi data cuaca pada materi pemanasan global untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah. This research was conducted to analyze the need for developing a global warming learning unit assisted by integrated augmented reality weather data to improve solving skills. This research method includes descriptive research in research and development (R&D) research with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) research model. This study uses the Analysis stage to analyze the needs of global warming learning units assisted by integrated augmented reality weather data. Data collection instruments are in the form of questionnaire sheets for student needs and observation sheets. The teaching materials to be developed are learning units containing text, images and videos related to the material. To present learning videos using augmented reality applications and materials supported by weather data. Data collection techniques use needs questionnaires and observations. Data analysis techniques use quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of the analysis of the needs of 35 students contained physics learning by 74% in the agree-on category, the learning unit display indicator by 69% in the agree category, the supporting attribute indicator of the learning unit, which was 79% in the very agree category, the skill indicator to be trained by 79% in the very agree category. These results show the need to develop teaching materials as augmented reality-assisted learning units integrated with weather data on global warming materials to improve problem-solving skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the development of nine types of intelligence (Multiple Intelligences) through an e-learning program implemented through a computer network and/or personal computer (PC) with CD ROM. This type of research includes quantitative descriptive research, which describes the function of e-learning programs as a means of growth and development of all types of intelligence. The research method is carried out by comparing the pedagogical way of developing multiple intelligences with the facilities owned by the e-learning program. The degree of conformity used a percentage (%), then processed using a Likert Scale. Based on theory and virtual experiments, as well as the opinions of 2 experts and 35 education practitioners as junior/high school teachers, it was found that the e-learning program functions to facilitate the development of intelligence in the "distributed" category with a score of 4 (scale 1-5). The results of this study will help teachers and lecturers reflect on face-to-face learning so that during the Covid-19 period learning can be transferred to a system that uses an e-learning program that can accommodate the growth and development of multiple intelligences supported by technological advances. Moreover, this system does not require a network and signal but can be accessed in the form of a CD-ROOM/Flash Disk. In the future, learning like this can be a priority to be implemented.

Abstract

Salah satu tridharma perguranan tinggi adalah pengabdian kepada masyarakat, kegiatan pengabdian itu merupakan kegiatan yang wajib dilaksanakan oleh setiap Dosen, oleh karena itu Dosen program S2 IPA Universitas Bengkulu bekerjasama dengan guru MAN 1 Rejang Lebong, Kabupaten Rejang Lebong Bengkulu tanggal 28 September 2022 melakukan kegiatan Pengabdian di MAN 1 Rejang Lebong Bengkulu. Kolaborasi ini berbentuk kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di MAN 1 Rejang Lebong Bengkulu dengan judul “Demonstrasi dan Simulasi Robot Line Follower Untuk Memotivasi Siswa Belaja IPA Pada MAN 1, Kabupaten Rejang Lebong. Dari kegiatan tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa; Materi ajar yang disampaikan dengan menggunakan multimedia interaktif yang meliputi, ceramah, demo secara virtual, animasi, visualisasi, simulasi dan video terbukti berhasil memotivasi siswa untuk lebih peduli pada sains pada kategori termotivasi/peduli dengan score 3,82 pada skala 1 -5.
