<![CDATA[The problem of border areas in Indonesia has not found a bright spot to date. The main problem faced by border communities is Unemployment. Unemployment must be addressed appropriately because it has an impact on people's economic lives. Therefore, there must be a solution to reduce the amount of unemployment in the border area. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent of empowerment of bidai craft as a solution to reduce unemployment in the border area and the participation of the village government. Data collection techniques in this study used interview and observation techniques. Data analysis by data collection, reduction, presentation and data verification. The research method uses qualitative in order to get a comprehensive picture. The results of this study indicate that 1) the root of the problem of unemployment 2) Empowerment of the splint can be used as a solution to overcome unemployment in the border area 3) The participation of the village government.]]>

<![CDATA[Left behind Territory requires a high entrepreneurial spirit of its inhabitants. This is understood because in the area the builder is still left behind so that the field of work is very limited. To that end, research on the entrepreneurial spirit among young people who become a local development expectations important. Other than that thing was, it needed research into the field of entrepreneurship that is appropriate considering the limited facilities and resources available. Cooking oil is a processing tool foodstuffs commonly in use by the mother-housewife in general. Usually cooking oils used as ingredients in the household needs for the management of food ingredients. As for cooking oil (Cooking oil waste) or waste cooking oil is cooking oil that is used repeatedly restarted. Used cooking oil repetitive very harmful to human health; because its repeated use with high temperatures will result in free fat content. Effect of free fat is the emergence of various diseases such as liver cancer and others. Given the effects of negative, cooking oil can not be consumed again. waste cooking oil turned out to be an alternative fuel, substitute diesel.Solar diesel fuel is one of the more time will step because the raw material comes from fossils that notes bene including resources that can not be renewed.Therefore, processing cooking oil as a substitute for fuel, this is an exciting and necessary thing to experience. In terms of the benefits of jelantah oil is very good to create new business opportunities that is as a raw material biosdiesel environmentally friendly and with the concept of sustainable development (sustainebel development) in addition to the cooking oil processing is also seen to be one effort to deepen the entrepreneurship spirit of students STIM Shanti Bhuana.In relevance with the border area which at the same time left behind.Jelantah cooking oil is also expected to create new jobs and increase the income of the community. Not only that waste cooking oil cooking oil into fuel is expected to be a systematic and structured solution to the problem low people's opinions. <![CDATA[The purpose of this research is to find out how to foster entrepreneurial spirit of young people who are involved in waste management. This is deemed necessary because Bengkayang which is still lagging behind are still lacking in the number of people in terms of entrepreneurship and are not familiar with the processing of waste that can be worth selling. The title of this research is Development of Interest In Youth Entrepreneurship In Utilizing Organic Waste Into Selling Product In The Border Area. The productive goods to be produced are compost (liquid and solid). The problem faced is to foster interest in entrepreneurship for Youth in utilizing organic waste into useful selling products and increasing income. Through this research will be carried out the processing of organic waste into compost as a valuable product and see how to foster student interest in creating a sustainable development-based business by managing waste creatively. This type of research is qualitative research with the method used is descriptive method. This method was chosen to be able to objectively describe the management and processing of household-scale organic waste into productive goods that are of selling value. <![CDATA[Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan kepada ibu-ibu petani dalam mengolah jagung menjadi makanan ringan yang dapat dinikmati dan/ atau dapat dijual dalam membantu ekonomi rumah tangga. Pengabdian ini dilakukan pada ibu-ibu petani di desa Sebente kecamatan Teriak kabupaten Bengkayang sebanyak 17 orang. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian berupa pelatihan, penyuluhan dan diskusi. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi disimpulkan bahwa pengetahuan dan keterampilan ibu-ibu petani meningkat dalam membuat kue yang berbahan dasar jagung. Ibu-ibu berhasil mengolah jagung menjadi kue yang enak dan dapat di jual dan di pasarkan dengan harga yang tinggi. Kegiatan ini diharapkan masyarakat bisa melihat potensi yang ada dan bisa di manfaatkan untuk perbaikan ekonomi rumah tangga.]]>

<![CDATA[Mendorong kewirausahaan desa merupakan salah satu upaya pemerintah utk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat pada umunya yaitu dengan mengupayakan peningkatan nilai tambah. Indonesia merupakan Negara kepulauan yang terkenal hasil kekayaan alamnya. Desa Sebente merupakan salah desa yang terdapat di kecamatan Teriak Kabupaten Bengkayang. Sebagian besar mata pencarian masyarakat adalah petani. Kondisi alam yang subur serta curah hujan yang cukup mempengaruhi pengahasilan dari para petani. untuk mengembangkan potensi yang ada pada masyarakat dengan berbasis pada kewirausahaan sehingga dapat mendorong masyarakat untuk memulai menjalankan bisnis secara kecil-kecilan dan di sesuaikan dengan potensi apa yang ada pada masyarakat sehingga masalah pengangguran dan kemiskinan dalam masyarakat dapat teratasi dengan baik,sehingga dapat membantu masyarakat yang belum memiliki pekerjaan dan dapat meningkatkan keinginan Masyarakat terutama untuk meningkatkan dan memajukan produksi hasil usaha tani jagung sehingga bisa berpengaruh kepada peningkatan pendapatan dari para petani, Potensi jagung seharusnya para petani bisa menghasilkan produksi mereka dengan maksimal karena mengingat keadaaan tanah cukup subur dan curah hujan juga bagus. Untuk itu para petani jagung dapat memanen jagung dengan hasil yang memuaskan.]]>

<![CDATA[The research aimed to find out the structuring activities that have been carried out and the planned activities to be carried out by the local government and landowners in maximizing the potentials of tourism in the City Center of Bengkayang, Bengkayang Regency. It was a descriptive, qualitative study. The present research was conducted in the Sebalo Village, Bengkayang District. The data were collected through direct visits to the field and in-depth interviews with the key informants, the landowners, the surrounding communities, and the local governments. The result of the study showed that there had been no arrangement activities at the locations around Riam Sebuluh. The intervention of the local government was not identified as an effort to preserve the environment of Riam Sebuluh located in the centre of Bengkayang City. The local government did not concern the importance of protecting the environment from the pollution of the Sebalo River in Bumi Emas Village, Bengkayang District, where the water was previously clear and became the pride of the Bengkayang people, and are now turning into very dirty. This condition needs to get the attention of all parties, especially the local government, through the policy interventions so that the community remains and obeys in maintaining the environment by not polluting the watershed through waste disposal or gold mining without a permit.]]>

<![CDATA[ABSTRAK Modal sosial atau kapital sosial muncul karena adanya trust di kalangan sekelompok masyarakat yang sudah diikat oleh norma-norma. Tujuan adanya Modal sosial agar masyrakat dapat menjadi fondasi yang baik dan efektif untuk meningkatkan ketahanan sosial dan ketahanan ekonomi karena dengan membangun jaringan yang baik akan membuat semakin meningkatkan modal sosial yang dapat mendatangkan keuntungan sehingga dapat meningkatkan kekuatan ekonomi terutama di daerah perbatasan. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana terjadinya perubahan pola pikir yang membentuk ‘’mental pegawai’’ ke pola pikir yang membentuk pribadi wirausaha. Dan Mengetahui seberapa jauh semangat wirausaha para mahasiswa dalam meningkatkan perekonomian penduduk di desa sekitar kampus melalui wirausaha produksi biodiesel dari minyak jelantah. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan maksud untuk memaparkan dan mengetahui bagaimana terjadinya pola pikir yang membentuk ‘’mental pegawai’’ menjadi pola pikir yang membentuk pribadi wirausaha,serta untuk mengetahui seberapa jauh semangat wirausaha para mahasiswa dalam meningkatkan perekonomian penduduk di daerah perbatasan melalui usaha produksi biodiesel dari minyak jelantah..Teknik pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi, teknik wawancara. <![CDATA[ABSTRACTThis research aims to find out the interests and intentions of young people in entrepreneurship in 3T areas in creating an ecology-based business by processing household organic waste into organic fertilizer as a product of the sale value in implementing sustainable development goals. The problem faced is how to foster interest and intentions of entrepreneurship among young people in border areas, household organic waste that is thrown away in vain, and high use of chemical fertilizers. The target of this research is young people in border areas with farmer family backgrounds not as entrepreneurs. This study uses participatory qualitative methods and project-based learning methods. The object of the research is purposefully selected using Focus Group Discussion (FGD) data collection techniques, unstructured open-ended interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. Factors that influence entrepreneurial interest are personality factors, sociological factors, and environmental factors as well as the processing of household waste into products of the sale value. The results of this study are that entrepreneurial interests and intentions are determined by freedom, self-efficacy, and more benefits if we are just employees, creativity. Ecologically-based business development has interesting potential to be developed, but in the production process, there is a tendency for these young people to be impatient (instant culture) in carrying it out and still lacking knowledge about how to package and market their products properly. ]]>

<![CDATA[The problem of poverty is not only due to the pressure of economic factors but there are other factors that are more influential, namely the very low human resource factor of farmers. The problems of unemployment and poverty remain problems that have not been resolved properly in the Indonesian government. Unemployment in Indonesia, one of which is the unavailability of jobs for new graduates and lack of adequate human resources. The purpose of this study is to describe how big the role of village heads is in increasing the entrepreneurial spirit for people's lives, in order to improve the welfare of economic life for As a real effort that can be made by the Village Head is to conduct various trainings and assistance for farmers so that they can have skills that they can use, as a provision for them to work. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. Result: The spirit of service shown by the village head and the approach of a leader figure who is able to provide a good example to the community so that it can influence changes in the mindset of the community itself. Changes in the mindset of the community can occur by conducting a lot of training and mentoring. Conclusion: In this study, the findings are described in several parts: The spirit of service and the approach of a leader who is able to set a good example to the community turns out to influence changes in the mindset of the community for the better. As a solution to the problem of lack of adequate human resources, a lot of training and mentoring can be done.]]>

<![CDATA[The development of tourist objects is a common problem in an area that has tourist objects, because if the development is well managed, it will have a positive impact on all parties. If there is a development of a tourist attraction, it will indirectly create business opportunities and increase income in the community. The purpose of this research is to find out and get the results from tourism villages, and from developing tourist objects into tourist villages can expand business opportunities. This study uses a qualitative method. The sampling technique was purposive sampling, data collection techniques used observation, interviews and documentation.The results showed that the development of tourist villages can be seen from the increasing number of tourist visits in Setanga Lestari as well as the characteristics of tourist villages that are the main attraction of developing tourist objects. The participation of the local community can be seen from the support of the community who participated in the development of the tourist village. With this tourism village, it can open business opportunities and increase the income of the people in the area.]]>
