Abstract

The effort of increasing result of study and learning effectivity is a main purposeadmired to achieve in every learning process. Because of that, choosing learningstrategy and ability to implement it become important to conduct. In a newparadigm of learning, learning process must be centered on student and it isbegun with context/real problem faced by student in their everyday life. Thepurpose is students are able to see the interconnection of subject they learn withreal condition in their environment. By this approaching, students are hoped toknow the important meaning of what they learn and what it is learnt for, hencethey are highly motivated to study. The contextual approaching foccuses on theimportance of bringing the problem faced by students in their everyday life. Themain problem brought in this research is enhancing the student’s result of studyby implementing concept achievement learning model with contextualappoaching and learning effectivity applied. The research subject is students ofclass VII1 SMPN 3 Minas in year 2007/2008, and design of research used is Onegroup Post Tes Design. Research data are collected by doing a test for student’sresult of study, quetionaire for learning motivation and class observation forteacher and student activities, and organizing of learning. Data analysis used isdescriptive and inferensial statistic analysis. The result of data analysisi resumedthat the emplementation of concept achievement learning model with contextualapproaching could increase the student’s result of study and effective to apply inmathematic learning.

Abstract

Abstract: The background of this research is the result of learning mathematics of class student VII6 SMP Negeri 16 Pekanbaru which is still under the minimum mastery criteria with a persentage of 10,34 % only 3 students from 29 students who achieve the minimum mastery criteria on the associating the relationship and the area of a rectangle (square, rectangle, length, trapezoid, rhombus, kite) and triangle. The purpose of this research aims to improve the learning process and increase the student’s mathematics learning outcomes through the implementation of Cooperative learning structured approach Numbered Heads Together. This type of research is the Classroom Action Research with two cycle, who conducted in class VII6 SMP Negeri 16 Pekanbaru in the second semester of the 2018/2019 academic year. Research subject as many 29 students, consist of 16 boys and 13 girls. The research instrument consists of learning devices and instrument data collectors. Learning device used is Syllabus, Lesson Plan and Worksheet. The instrument data collector used in this research is the observation sheet and math achievement test. The observation sheet was analyzed whit descriptive qualitative while the test of mathematics learning outcomes was analyzed statistically. Based on deskriptive qualitative analiysis showed that implementation of learning process on cycle II had happened improvement from implementation on cycle I. Weakness on cycle I is improved on implementation cycle II according with planning of improvement after reflection cycle I. Number of students that reach Minimum Mastery Criteria increase from basic score to daily test II. The number of students who reach Minimum Mastery Criteria on basic scor, daily test I and daily test IIare respectively 3 person (10,34 %), 14 person (48,28 %) and 19 person (65,52 %). Results of this research indicates that application of the Cooperative learning structured approach Numbered Heads Together can improve learning process and increase mathematics learning outcomes from the students at class VII6 SMP Negeri 16 Pekanbaru in the second semester academic years 2018/2019.Key Words: Students’ Math Achievement, Cooperative Learning Structural Approach of Numbered Heads Together, Classroom Action Research.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is classroom action research that aims to improve learning process and to increase mathematics achievement with applied the learning cooperative approach Number Head Together (NHT) model. The research consist of two cycles, each cycle has four stages, which are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection.The subject of this research is student of class VIIb MTs LKMD Kasikan in academic years 2018/2019, which amounted to 35 students, consist of 18 boys and 17 girls. The instruments of data collection in this research were observation sheets and students Mathematic tests. The observation sheets were analyzed in qualitative desciptive, while the students’ Mathematic tests were analyzed in quantitative descriptive. The qualitative descriptive showed an improvement of learning process prior to the action on the first and second cycle. Most of students were very confidenced and actived in learning process, such as while they were finished mathemathic’s problems that given, presenting the result of problems and giving the conclusion of learning. Number of students that reach Minimum Mastery Criteria increase from basic score to first test I and II. The results of this research showed an increasing number of students learning mathematicsabout knowledge of the basic score (54,3%)to the first test (71,4%%) to the second test II (85,7%). For the skills of basic score (34,3%) to the first test (45,7 %) to the second test II (71,4 %). Results of this research indicates that appication of the learning cooperative approach Number Head Together (NHT) model can improve learning process and increase mathematics achievement from the students at class VIIb MTs LKMD Kasikan in academic years 2018/2019 for the subject matter social arithmetic.Key Words: Mathematics Achievement, Learning Cooprative Approach Number Head Together (NHT)

Abstract

This research is a classroom actionresearch aims to improve and enhancethe learning outcomes math. Implementation of the research done in class IIIASDN 008 Salo Kecamatan Salo, were 22 students the first semester of 2012. Theresearch was conducted by two cycles, each cycle performed three learningsessions and one tests. Quantitative data obtained through testing for learningoutcomes and qualitativedata abaut the activities of teachers and students throughobservation sheet. Quantitative analysis of the result of the analysis showed thatthe average score of the class IIIA SDN 008 Salo Kecamatan Salo has increased.Quantitative an increase in motivation, interests, and activities of students andteachers in learning of operation of fraction number math with type cooperativelearning STAD. Based on the results of this study concluded that with theimplementation of cooperative learning model type STAD can improve studentlearning outcomes math class IIIA SDN 008 Salo Kecamatan Salo.Key word: learning outcomes, learning cooperative type STAD.
