Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut Apakah pendekatan SAVI efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika materi prisma dan limas apabila ditinjau dari hasil belajar siswa? Adapun Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Efektivitas model pembelajaran SAVI terhadap hasil belajar pada materi prisma dan limas siswa kelas VIIIA di SMP Swasta Marapati. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu quasi eksperimental (penelitian eksperimental semu). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Swasta Marapati, sedangkan sampelnya adalah siswa kelas VIIIA SMP sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas VIIIB sebagai kelas kontrol. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes dan observasi. Hasil uji prasyarat dalam penelitian ini adalah uji normalitas kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol sama-sama berdistribusi normal, dimana untuk kelas eksperimen 0.100 lebih besar dari 0.05 dan untuk kelas kontrol 0.108 lebih besar dari 0.05. Pada uji homogenitas kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, kedua kelompok data mempunyai varian sama atau homogen yaitu 0,478 lebih besar dari 0,05. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan uji t diperoleh nilai sig 0.006 lebih jecil dari 0.05. Berdasarkan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji t pada taraf signifikan  = 0.05, diperoleh nilai thitung sebesar2,865, sedangkan dari hasil perhitungan didapat nilai ttabel sebesar 1,999. Dari hasil perhitungan hasil test diperoleh nilai rata-rata siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran SAVI lebih tinggi dari pada nilai rata-rata siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat efektivitas dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran SAVI

Abstract

Dalam artikel ini mengkaji level kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal bertipe PISA. Sejak Indonesia bergabung pada tahun 2000, capaian Indonesia selalu berada pada level bawah dalam indeks PISA. Terbukti pada tahun 2018, Indonesia berada pada peringkat 74 dari 79 negara partisipan untuk kemampuan membaca, peringkat 73 dari 79 negara partisipan untuk kemampuan matematika, dan peringkat 71 dari 79 negara partisipan  untuk kemampuan sains dalam PISA. Dengan hasil pencapaian yang konsisten di peringkat bawah indeks PISA, Indonesia di bawah ke konsekuensi pemikiran bahwa pendidikan tidak sesuai dengan standar umum/global dan berada di bawah Negara-negara lain di dunia. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini untuk mengetahui level kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal matematika bertipe PISA di SMP Seminari Sinar Buana Weetebula. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dan  jenis penelitian mixed metodh (metode gabungan). Kata kunci: kemampuan matematis siswa, level soal PISA

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to asses some factors that influence the low-ability of speakingwriting skills of bahasa for STKIP (Higher College for Teacher Candidate) students. The phenomenon of the low-ability of speaking-writing skills can be identified through several mistakes such as incorrect spelling, incorrect diction, incorrect sentence structure, incorrect coherence etc. A good-ability of speaking-writing skills of bahasa required for university students, particularly for teacher candidate.The subject of this study was 11 STKIP students from Bahasa Indonesia Study Program and 6 language (bahasa) teachers from SMA (Senior High School) and SMK (Vocational High School) at Sumba Barat DayaDistrict. This study was using Qualitative Method and data was collected through semi-structured interview. In addition, Miles and Huberman Model that consists of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion, was using for data analysis purposed. The results of this study showed thatthe low-ability of speaking-writing skills of bahasa for STKIP students was caused by physiological factors (attitude, interest, and motivation) and non-physiological factors (local/first language, surrounding environments, and bahasa as a second language on school system at this island)Keywords: mistakes on speaking-writing skills, physiological factors, non-physiological factors

Abstract

The first part of this paper explains the team development of Tuckmans and Edisons models including the differences between these two models. The paper starts with Tuckmans model, which is known as a traditional model of team development. In 1965, Tuckman stated that an organization that would like to accomplish its goal through teamwork followed four main stages of team development, which he named as forming, storming, norming and performing. In 1977, Tuckman and Mary Ann Jansen added a fifth stage named adjourning. In 2011, Edison assessed that Tuckmans model could be further developed. Tuckman's traditional model is needed for understanding a team's basic functional stages, but his model needs to be expanded for greater understanding of team development, especially during a team's dysfunctional phases. This articleidentifies one phase of team development that complements the classic five phases developed by Tuckman. To reach the objectives of a project team, it is important to understand and review thedysfunctional phases (conforming and deforming) that a team encounters so that appropriate corrective actions can be taken to aid a team in becoming high-performing.Based on the analysis of those two models, this article explains the integration of these models when applied by STKIP Weetebula team when working on improving the learning process. The main goal of the team is developing and implementing a new subject on the curriculum of all study programs of STKIP Weetebula, Sumba, Indonesia. The new subject is named as SPS (Seminar-Praktek-Sekolah/Seminar-Practice-Schools). The team has started to work from August 2016 to August 2017. The team has designed an action planning for SPS and has implemented it in March 2017. The team consists of 2 pedagogical advisors/facilitator from Germany, 6 STKIP lecturers, and 1 staff member. This article shows how SPS team works to reach its goals by integration of team development stages of Tuckmans and Edisons models.

Abstract

This paper describes the marketing planning of STKIP Weetebula to increase the number of STKIP Weetebula students according to the Medium and Long Term Development Strategy of STKIP Weetebula.The first part of this paper explains about marketing, marketing model management, stakeholder analysis and continues with explanations about STKIP Weetebula.In the second part, the key stakeholders are defined using the stakeholder matrix. Once key stakeholders are determined, the next step is to make marketing planning for key stakeholders. There are several marketing planning models that can be used by education institutions to develop a marketing planning. STKIP Weetebula choose the 7 P marketing mix because it is a marketing planning model that is quite widely used in higher education organizations and considered suitable for educational institutions such as STKIP Weetebula.

Abstract

This paper describes the international cooperation between STKIP Weetebula (Indonesia), Misereor Germany, and The University of Osnabrück Germany based on Hofstede’s Cultural dimensions. The first part of this paper explains about the definition of culture, cross-cultural, and multicultural cooperation. The second part provides an overview about Hofstede’s Cultural Dimensions and the international cooperation at STKIP Weetebula particularly the cooperation between STKIP Weetebula and Misereor that includes The University of Osnabrück Germany. The third part of this paper explains international cooperation at STKIP Weetebula based on Hofstede’s Cultural Dimensions. Some of the explanations are from the result of the external evaluation of several international cooperation programs supported by Germany partners which include international partners such as Misereor, AGEH, The University of Osnabrück, and KMW.Cross Cultural, International Cooperation

Abstract

Model pembelajaran Problem based learning dikemukakan oleh Joyce dan Weil adalah suatu model yang merangsang kemampuan peserta didik untuk menganalisis suatu masalah, memperkirakan jawaban,mencari data,menganalisis data dan menyimpulkan jawaban terhadap masalah. Salah satu model yang saat ini sedang menjadi perhatian kalangan pendidik adalah model problem based learning yaitu model pembelajaran yang di dalamnya melibatkan peserta didik untuk berusaha memecahkan masalah dengan beberapa tahap metode ilmiah sehingga siswa diharapkan mampu untuk mempelajari pengetahuan yang berkaitan dengan masalah tersebut dan sekaligus siswa di harapkan mampu memiliki keterampilan dalam memecahkan masalah. penelitian eksperimen merupakan penelitian yang digunakan untuk mencari pengaruh treatment (perlakuan) tertentu terhadap hasil dalam kondisi yang terkendalikan.
