Abstract

Anak Dalam Tribe (Suku Anak Dalam; SAD) used jelutong in their daily live. But nowadays, jelutong population was reduced. Increase the forest change area decrease the habitat preference of jelutong. It need the strategy and technique to conservation jelutong without conflict with local people interest. Traditional management of jelutong among SAD in Bukit Duabelas National Park (Taman Nasional Bukit Duabelas; TNBD) benefits to understanding technique used of jelutong latex and understanding ecological knowledge SAD for strategy of conservation jelutong, among  other are to described  jelutong population status in TNBD. The research was conducted by using focus group discussion and indepth interview 40 respondent to examine management and use of jelutong. In addition, vegetation analysis was also conducted to determine the status of jelutong population by 8 sampling plots with census technique in 2,88 ha area. It was determined that SAD use latex of jelutong especially for comodity. Traditional technique applied to all methods tapping, production, and marketing latex. Time latex tapping done in early morning on 5 to 6 am because sunrise decreased latex production. Latex mixed with samak (Syzygium pyrifolium) or vinegar 61, allowed to stand until thickened and forming lumps fit the mold. The local management of this species is based on simple maintenance and tapping latex of individuals in the swamp area, dryland area and homegardens agroforest.The structure of jelutong population in TNBD was destructed which are distribution number of jelutong per ha young stage less than mature stage. Keywords: Anak Dalam Tribe, bioprospecting, conservation, Dyera spp., ethnobotany

Abstract

Abstract: Coaching of teachers is one form of business to enhance the professional competence of teachers in achieving quality learning period on SMP Negeri 2 Sigli. This study aims to determine teacher training in: (1) the process of preparing the learning program are: curriculum, syllabus, lesson plans, annual program, the semester program, and details of the effective week. (2) fostering the implementation of learning, namely: the initial activity to open the lesson, explaining the materials, instructional media, learning methods, learning resources, and KKM. (3) fostering enhancement of professional competence of teachers are: supervision, refresher courses, seminars, and MGMP. The method used in this research is descriptive method with qualitative approach, this research sites in SMP Negeri 2 Sigli. Data collection techniques in the study carried out directly by the researcher through interviews, observation, and study documentation. The subject of this research is the principal, vice principal areas of the curriculum, and teacher SMP Negeri 2 Sigli. The results obtained are: (1) principals in the process of preparing teachers to foster learning programs such as the RPP, the annual program, the semester program, and details of the effective week. (2) fostering the principal teachers in the implementation of the learning done by describing the materials, instructional media, learning methods, learning resources. (3) school head teachers to foster improvement of professional competence by way of supervision, Panataran, seminars and enable MGMP as well as providing facilities and infrastructure.Key words: development of professional competence ofteachers

Abstract

Hasil pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial pada materi pengetahuan peta masih perlu ditingkatkan. Indikasinya, pada saat diadakan tes pemahaman, dari 35orang siswa hanya 13 siswa yang memperoleh nilai di atas KKM. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penguasaan siswa akan materi tersebut cukup rendah. Terkait dengan hal ini, beberapa masalah yang ditemukan dalam pembelajaran adalah: (a) Sebagian besar siswa kurang memperhatikan pembelajaran; (b) Siswa merasa cepat bosan dan sering bercakap-cakap dengan teman sebangkunya; (c) Sebagian siswa tidak memahami pertanyaan yang diajukan oleh guru. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan kemampuan siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS pada topik pembelajaran menggambar peta. Fokus penelitian adalah perbaikan pembelajaran dengan menerapkan menggambar peta lingkungan setempat
