Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 berdampak pada proses pendidikan yang harus melakukan proses belajar jarak jauh. Kondisi itu memaksa para siswa lebih sering bersentuhan dengan telepon pintar dan internet, tidak terkecuali aktivitas menggunakan media sosial. Beberapa platform media sosial yang banyak digunakan siswa SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Cipondoh adalah Instagram dan TikTok. Intensitas berselancar di dunia maya tersebut memerlukan literasi digital untuk memberikan pemahaman yang baik tentang bermedia sosial. Salah satunya, tentang bagaimana memanfaatkan media sosial dengan membuat konten kreatif sekaligus mengedukasi. Pelatihan ini dilakukan dengan metode ceramah, diskusi, dan kaji tindak. Kegiatan dilakukan dalam jaringan (daring) menggunakan aplikasi Zoom. Para siswa diberikan penyuluhan dan pelatihan terkait literasi digital dan membuat konten edukatif. Pelatihan ini menghasilkan pemahaman dan praktik langsung membuat video edukatif melalui akun Instagram dan TikTok para siswa. Kata Kunci: media sosial, siswa, konten edukatif, literasi, covid-19

Abstract

Pandemi covid 19 yang berlangsung hampir dua tahun. Memberikan dampak yang cukup berimplikasi bagi setiap sendi kehidupan. Tidak terkecuali bagi keberlangsungan lingkungan hidup. Selama pandemi covid19, persoalan sampah medis menjadi persoalan baru. Permasalahan ini mulai dimunculkan oleh media massa arus utama juga media-media sosial. Persoalan sampah masker medis ternyata menjadi persoalan baru bagi hewan dan satwa di darat maupun laut. Beberapa hashtag sebagai bentuk edukasi mulai dimunculkan melalui media sosial, seperti #potongtalielastismasker dan sejenisnya. Edukasi lingkungan hidup bisa dimulai dalam proses belajar mengajar di tingkat sekolah. Terbukti beberapa sekolah sekarng menerapkan sistem sekolah alam, atau melakukan field trip sebagai metode untuk meningkatkan kepedulian siswa terhadap lingkungan hidup. Sehingga, perlu adanya edukasi di kalangan remaja terkait persoalan lingkungan hidup yang terjadi di masa pandemic Covid-19. Edukasi tersebut dilakukan dengan cara penyuluhan dan pelatihan membuat konten untuk akun Instagram para siswa SMAN 28 Jakarta. Konten tersebut memuat edukasi tentang persoalan lingkungan hidup. Kegiatan ini juga berfungsi sebagai penerapan komunikasi lingkungan yang bertujuan sebagai tindakan advokasi terhadap lingkungan. Hasilnya, para pelajar tersebut lebih mengerti tentang persoalan lingkungan hidup dan mampu membuat konten yang berisi kampanye tentang lingkungan hidup.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to investigate the relationship of perceived security and the intention of muzaki to use the application of digital transactions in paying zakat. The method of collecting samples in this study used a purposive sampling technique. The sample from this study is muzaki in Indonesia who has paid zakat digitally. This study uses a survey method using a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The questionnaire will be distributed to muzaki in Indonesia who have paid zakat digitally via email and google docs. Before testing the hypothesis, the researcher tests descriptive, validity and reliability statistics. All collected questionnaires were analyzed using the Pearson correlation. To measure the dimensions of perceived security, perceived security and intention of muzaki to use the application of digital transactions in paying zakat using a Likert scale, 1 means strongly disagree and 5 means strongly agree. The results of this study prove that perceived security has a positive relationship with the intention of muzaki to use digital applicationsto pay zakat with a significant number of 0.002.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic affects many sectors of life including the world of art, particularly for local artists. They no longer have a stage to work on. The restriction policies during the pandemic Covid-19 limit their existence. As a result, the local artists in East Jakarta need a way to stay creative and productive. The lack of work performed has an impact on the lack of income they get. Thus, the community service team is looking for a solution to this problem by providing education about the use of social media. The method from this community service is carried out by providing knowledge about the types, features, and use of social media. Then, provide training to create content from the work of these local East Jakarta artists. From this training, East Jakarta local artists have started to understand the types, features, and use of social media. Besides, they also started to create content to share on their social media

Abstract

Technology increasingly developing in addition to making it easier for humans to live their lives also encourages changes in society. So far, people who have only been media consumers can now produce messages or act as journalists. Usually they are referred to as citizen journalists or citizen journalists. This study discusses Citizen Journalist Participation in News Writing at Kompasiana.com. The purpose of this study is to understand the participation of citizen journalists in writing news on Kompasiana.com. This study uses a qualitative approach and the type of descriptive research. The method used is a case study. The results of this study indicate that the participation of citizen journalists in writing news at Kompasiana.com is driven by their desire to voice their thoughts and continue to train their writing skills as an effort to self-actualize. The factors behind their participation in writing news on Kompasiana.com are their passion or interest in writing, experience factors and other supporting factors that cause people to participate, namely the existence of k-werds or gifts for writers in Kompasiana.com. The implications that are felt when involved in citizen journalism are wider knowledge and sharper and more critical analytical blades in looking at an issue, as well as being able to improve people's literacy and writing skills.

Abstract

Mental health is currently an issue that gets more attention at a young age. The age at which identity and character are still in the process of being formed. Students need information related to assertive communication, by better understanding assertive communication immediately negative adolescent behavior such as violence, drugs, free sex can be avoided. Especially during the pandemic, the use of social media is increasing, the practice of bullying via social media is one of the problems that are often encountered among teenagers. Using online methods via zoom meetings, education on assertiveness and training in making memes, they were chosen as material for their mental health care campaign that they can use on social media.

Abstract

Modern lifestyle is an attitude, personality, and what of the behaviors that correspond with the demands of the developments of the times. This occurred because of an awareness of man within him to keep on studying in the middle of the development of the world. The research ia a culturalstudies to uncover the representasion of modern lifestyle as popular culture. In which this case, a culture that is featured in popular culture instagram accounts is habitual activities that can be enjoyed by all men were fashion, care of the body and interests that become their needs. What was used in the study is a methodological analysis logician Ferdinand de Saussure to display lifestyle forms of modern in instagram @tantrinamirah account, through signifier and signified in the instagram account. The results of research on lifestyle modern ini social media instagram @tantrinamirah, find the the form of modern lifestyle which includes fashion, the choice of food and drink, the tourist area of the hobbies and grocery products. The factors that determine lifestyle modern in social media instagram @tantrinamirah, of them: the image of themselves, consisting of a style of dress is fashionable, a healty lifestyle, interest in exclusivity culture and the factors. There is also the ideology of the practices, with this incidence of these signs in stuff used their phenomena and into a theme in the community. To create a culture consumer, in which content word that continues to displayed will affect the act of. The use of branded become a legal attitude on fashion, that shows their interest in product fancy.

Abstract

Universities are often stigmatized as a place for the growth of the notion of terrorism and violence, while the university’s internal parties do not agree with these stigmas. Narrative studies are used to determine the use of a group’s narrative in fighting violence and terrorism (Archetti, 2012). This research is a qualitative descriptive study that aims to explore the use of narratives of peace and non-violence used in universities with discourse analysis on 8 YouTube content belonging to Brawijaya University. The results showed that the dominant narrative was used as a narrative with the themes of peace, societies, doing good, creativities, and others. In addition, the narrative is also supported by activities that make the narrative not only a lecture text but also in the form of real activities.  Perguruan tinggi kerap distigma sebagai tempat tumbuhnya paham terorisme dan kekerasan, sedangkan pihak internal perguruan tinggi tidak sepakat dengan berbagai stigma tersebut. Pada studi komunikasi dikenal studi narasi untuk mengetahui penggunaan narasi suatu kelompok dalam melawan kekerasan dan terorisme (Archetti, 2014). Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang memiliki tujuan untuk mengeksplorasi penggunaan narasi perdamaian dan anti kekerasan yang digunakan di perguruan tinggi dengan analisis wacana pada 8 konten YouTube milik Universitas Brawijaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa narasi dominan yang digunakan adalah narasi dengan tema perdamaian, kemasyarakatan, berbuat baik, kreativitas dan lainnya. Selain itu narasi juga didukung dengan kegiatan-kegiatan yang menjadikan narasi tidak hanya teks ceramah semata, namun juga berbentuk aktivitas riil.

Abstract

The Use of Instagram as a Promotional Tool for the 2021 “ESOK” Jakarta Biennale Exhibitions. The Jakarta Biennale has been using the Instagram feature to help promote exhibitions by the Museum of Indonesia National Awakening (Museum Kebangkitan Nasional) for some time. The collection was considered a dormant tourist destination that needs to be reactivated. This research elaborates on how the official account @jakartabienalle projects promotional content about the event. Using the content marketing theory, we employ content analysis methods to describe the promotions' narratives spectrum qualitatively. Complementary to that, we also conducted in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation upon the account followers. We found a specific trace of the “ESOK” signature in the upper-left part of every post. Along with that, a two-long paragraph caption also completes the picture-based pieces of information that consist of registration pieces of information and details of the pictures. Finally, we also conclude that hashtags and geotagging features play an essential part in helping audiences locate the event.
