Abstract

The aim of this research was to develop a practical guide based on guided inquiry on the interaction material of living things. This type of research was Research and Development with the ADDIE development model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implement and Evaluation). Practicum guides were validated by 2 media experts and 2 material experts. The research was carried out until a small scale test with the research subjects were 5 grade students of MTs Darul Amin Palangkaraya. The results of the study were a practical guide with 3 topics whose activities were designed according to the guided inquiry learning model. The practicum guide developed was declared feasible by material and media experts with a very valid category. Based on small-scale trials, the practicality value was produced with a percentage of 83.00% which was categorized as very good. These results showed that the practicum guide was declared valid and practical after a small-scale trial was carried out. The practicum guide still needs to be refined for further trials on a large scale

Abstract

Based on the analysis of needs, it is known that Ethnobotany learning in the Biology Tadris study program at IAIN Palangka Raya has not used integrated Islamic teaching materials, lecturers and students need integrated Islamic Ethnobotany textbooks that are valid for use in learning. This study aims to describe the validity of the integrated Islamic Ethnobotany textbook based on the 3D PageFlip. This research is part of development research with the ADDIE development model. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method for feasibility assessment based on the expert review (including two material expert validators, two media expert validators, and two interpreter expert validators) using a questionnaire. The results of the study indicate that the assessment of the material expert is 94.5% (very valid), the assessment of the media expert is 90% (very valid), and the assessment of the interpreter is 90% (very valid). Thus, textbooks can be declared very valid and suitable for use in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to see the integration of values in the curriculum and lectures in biological tadris/departement study program using a qualitative approach. This type of research is divided into two, namely the type of content analisys research and the type of field research research. Types of content analisys research using curriculum data, while the lecture process taken samples in the Higher Botanical Botanical field using field research. The research data was collected through survey, interview, and document analysis. The results show that the application of the integration of Islamic values contained in the curriculum book uses a model of developing an educational curriculum in educational institutions, in which there is integration in the graduation profile, the main competencies of graduates, and additional or other competencies. The results of research indicate that the study of the High Botanical Botanical course uses an integration model to explore the verses in the Qur'an and the methodological integration model by implementing the Islamic integration on the process as well as the evaluation. Application of lectures and lab activities in the laboratory with a methodological integration model. The integration contained in the RPS document contains Islamic values by listing the suras and verses in the Qur'an.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to have an inventory on Fern-plants in the area of IAIN Palangka Raya as an alternative media to discuss or learn about the classification of plants for high school students. The method applied was qualitative research through survey activities to have an inventory on fern-plants. In collecting the data, the procedure was done by tracking the ferns growing area and collecting every kind of ferns species found in IAIN Palangka Raya. Identification of ferns species were using the key of determination. The data of the research were analyzed descriptively to get connected with the development of alternative learning media. The inventory result has beenĀ  obtained eleven species of pteridophyta, one species of Blechnaceae family, two species of Pteridaceae, one species of Polypodiaceae, four species of Dryopteridaceae, two species of Polipodiacea and ome species of Woodsiaceae. Based on the nature of the ferns, eleven ferns are found. They consist of six types of terrestrial Pteridophyta, two types of Pteridophyta epiphytes and teresters, and three types of Pteridophyta epiphytes. The results of the research can be used as an alternative media for teaching and learning the topic of plant classification for high school students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi implementasi Kurikulum 2013 di MA. Penelitian ini bersifat evaluatif dengan menerapkan model CIPPO. Pengumpulan data dengan observasi, kuesioner dan wawancara. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode cluster sampling di wilayah Kalimantan Tengah. Hasil evaluasi implementasi Kurikulum 2013 mata pelajaran Biologi dengan analisis CIIPO menunjukkan bahwa (1) tingkat dukungan lembaga 87.25%, (2) relevansi tujuan kurikulum 76.50% (3), kesiapan tenaga pendidik 38.18%, (4) kesiapan sarana 53.34% (5) kesiapan materi 64.34%, (6) penilaian pembelajaran 90.91%, dan (7) pencapaian tujuan kurikulum 64.34%. implementasi Kurikulum 2013 belum terlaksana dengan baik khususnya mata pelajaran Biologi MA. Hal ini dikarenakan belum terpenuhinya kompetensi guru yang mampu mengintegrasikan ilmu kebiologian dengan keislaman, serta belum tersedianya sarana penunjang untuk pengintegrasian tersebutImplementasi Kurikulum 2013 mata pelajaran Biologi MA di Kalimantan Tengah. Hal ini menyebabkan capaian tujuan kurikulum kurang maksimal.

Abstract

This research is based on learning conditions in class XI MAN Palangka Raya City which still uses discussion and lecture models that are less able to improve scientific literacy skills. This research aims to determine the effect of the PQ4R model assisted by e-books using the sway on the scientific literacy of XI grade students of MAN PalangkaRaya City in the matter of the excretory system. The design used in this research is in the form of a quasi-experimental and the form of the design is divided into 2 groups, namely the experimental group and the control group, also called the Non-equivalent Control Group Design, and uses descriptive quantitative calculations. The sample in this research has a total of 67 students which includes, XI MIPA 3 totaling 33 students in the experimental class, and XI MIPA 4 totaling 34 students in the control class.is purposive sampling. The scientific literacy data collection method was taken from the results of the scientific literacy test. The results of the research using an independent sample t-test analysis showed that there was an effect of the PQ4R model assisted by e-book application Sway on the scientific literacy of class XI MAN Palangka Raya students on the excretory system material with a value of tcount > ttable, which is 5,319 > 5,299 .learning model supported by the Sway e-book application PQ4R can improve scientific literacy.

Abstract

Pembelajaran IPA di SMPS Waladun Sholeh Pelaihari belum mampu melatih kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik dan belum pernah dilaukan pengukuran terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterterapan model Predict-observe-explain (POE) pada materi pencemaran lingkungan dan mengukur keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas VII SMPS Waladun Sholeh Pelaihari pada materi pencemaran lingkungan setelah diterapkan model Predict Observe Explain (POE). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif desain penelitiannya menggunakan one group pretes postes. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah soal tes keterampilan berpikir kritis dan lembar observasi keterterapan pembelajaran. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Teknik sampel jenuh dengan jumlah peserta didik sebanyak 7 orang. Teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Di peroleh hasil bahwa terdapat peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis dengan menggunakan N-gain untuk mata pelajaran biologi dimana rata-rata nilai yang diperoleh setelah menerapkan model pembelajaran POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) adalah 87,38 dengan nilai baik. Hasil penelitian menunjukan Keterlaksanaan penerapan model pembelajaran Predict Observe Explain (POE) pada Pencemaran lingkungan kelas VII SMPS Waladun Sholeh Pelaihari telah terlaksana dengan baik dengan persentase sebesar 84,09. Keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik termasuk dalam kriteria baik dilihat dari analisis pencapaian sub indikator keterampilan berpikir kritis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran Predict Observe Explain (POE) dapat meningkatkan keterampilan peserta didik kelas VII SMPS Waladun Sholeh Pelaihari.
