Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the improvement of the maharah kalam ability of class VIII MTs Negeri 3 Kabupaten Gorontalo students by using a team quiz strategy. This research is a Class Action Research conducted at MTs Negeri 3 Gorontalo Regency. This research was carried out in 2 cycles. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, tests and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive and quantitative qualitative data analysis. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII C MTs Negeri 3 Gorontalo Regency, totaling 25 students. This research was conducted through 4 stages, namely the planning stage, implementation of actions, observation and reflection. The results of this study show that the application of the team quiz strategy can improve students' maharah kalam. This increase can be seen from the average value of the pre-test results, which is 33.2. After applying the team quiz strategy on the post test cycle 1 the average score result increased to 62.2, then in the post test cycle II the average score result increased to 79.8. With a successful pre-test result of 0%, post test cycle I 24% and post test cycle II 80%. Thus, it can be concluded that the team quiz strategy can improve the maharah kalam of class VIII MTs Negeri 3 students of Gorontalo Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) Know what are the nonlinguistic problems faced by teachers in learning Arabic at MA Se Kota Kotamobagu. (2) What are the nonlinguistic problems faced by students in learning Arabic at MA Se Kota Kotamobagu. In this study, researchers used qualitative methods using descriptive qualitative research designs. Data sources from this study are primary and secondary data, as well as data collection techniques used in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of this study are: (1) Nonlinguistic problems faced by teachers in Arabic language learning at Madrasah Aliyah Se Kota Kotamobagu, namely, lack of teacher competence in carrying out the learning process, changes or changes in curriculum, lack of time allocation, and lack of availability of infrastructure facilities in supporting Arabic language learning. (2) Nonlinguistic problems faced by students in learning Arabic at Madrasah Aliyahh Se Kota Kotamobagu are, low motivation, which is influenced by improper management of learning time, as well as different and fariative educational backgrounds, which causes these students to have difficulty in understanding and receiving Arabic learning materials

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of mastery of qawa>id on maha>ratul kita>bah of class XI students at MAN 1 Gorontalo City. The research method used is a research method with an experimental quantitative approach, which seeks the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable. The population taken in this study was all class XI at MAN 1 Gorontalo City with a sample of 55 students. The data collection techniques in this study were observation, interview and documentation. The data collection model uses tests. The data were analyzed using simple correlation test with the help of spss 25 for windows application. The results of this study indicate that the result of the simple regression equation of mastery of qawa'id on the ability to write Arabic text is 0.000% with a very high significant level. So, there is a relationship or influence between the mastery of qawa'id on the ability to write Arabic text. Based on the probability value of 0.000 <0.05 and in the model summary table by looking at R Square = 0.600 or 60%, it can be interpreted that the variable mastery of qawa'id (X) has an influence on the variable ability of maha>ratul kita>bah of Class XI students at MAN 1 Gorontalo City (Y) by 60%.
