Abstract

The study of humans has so far been dominated by Western schools of thought. As shown by psychoanalytic theorists, behaviorists, and cognitive theorists. Meanwhile, studies on humans that are sourced from local thinkers do not seem to have been discussed much by scholars. As the human concept that developed in the Pangestu mysticism in Indonesia. This article aims to examine the human concept according to the Pangestu school in terms of the process of human creation, the purpose of human life, and the relationship (union) of man with God. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The results showed that human creation was caused by courtship from God or what is called Tri Purusa. Meanwhile, the purpose of human life is union with God or it is called ittihad and hulul. This study concludes that the teachings about humans in the Pangestu school are identical to those in Islamic philosophy and mysticism.

Abstract

Reiki Sufism is a spiritual practice and healing of physical and psychological ailments through Sufism values using the Reiki method. Sufism is a scientific field in Islam that concentrates on the inner realm (esoteric). Meanwhile, reiki is a healing technique from Japan that utilizes the energy of the universe or is called Divine energy. Seeing the current conditions in the world that is being hit by the Covid-19 outbreak, the behavior shown by the community has changed. This incident not only had an impact on the health sector but also had an impact on the religious sector. So it is necessary to do research on how to mitigate or handle the Covid-19 outbreak. The method in this study uses a qualitative descriptive approach and literature study with the formulation of the problem of how the contribution of Reiki Sufism in the face of the Covid-19 outbreak. The purpose of this research is to describe Reiki Sufism techniques in breaking the chain of the spread of the Covid-19 outbreak. The results of this research are the practice of self-healing, uzlah (self-isolation), khalwat (solitude), and meditation dhikr that can be used as alternatives in breaking the chain of the spread of the Covid-19 outbreak and making individuals able to adapt to the pandemic.

Abstract

Humanism is a school in philosophy which states that humans are the center of everything, or referred to as anthropocentric. So it gives a negative impression of humanism itself. There is a discourse that God is removed or not functioned with the understanding of humanism that upholds the values of human beings. Javanese society is famous for its friendly, humanist and religious people in religion. One of the figures who came from Java was R.M.P. Sosrokartono, he has ideas and thoughts that indirectly contain humanistic values that are wrapped in the values of Javanese society. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods, the data in this study there are two forms, primary data and secondary data. The purpose of this study is to reveal the values of humanism in the thinking of R.M.P. Sosrokartono and how it is relevant to today's life. The result of this research is that there are teachings of R.M.P. Sosrokartono name is ilmu kantong bolong dan ilmu kantong kosong, in which there are humanistic values. In addition, the humanism model of R.M.P. Sosrokartono has a new variant with the humanism that developed in the West.

Abstract

Humanism is a Western philosophical thought that believes that humans have high values and positions and are at the center, or are referred to as anthropocentric. This kind of thinking has both positive and negative impacts. The positive impact is to prioritize human values, while the negative impact is that humans do not need God in their lives because they believe in their own efforts. Javanese people are known for their friendly, humanist and religious people. Religious humanism is a feature of the Javanese model of religious behavior. RMP. Sosrokartono is one of the figures from Java whose thoughts indirectly include human values that characterize the religious behavior of the Javanese people. The method in this research is a qualitative type. The data to be analyzed is in the form of primary data, namely the thoughts of RMP. Sosrokartono and secondary data, namely supporting data related to research. The aim of the research is to reveal the values religious humanism RMP. Sosrokartono and how it is implemented on the religious behavior of the Javanese people. The results of this study are that there are RMP. Sosrokartono whose name is ilmu kantong bolong, ilmu kantong, ilmu kantong kosong, and lmu sunyi in which there are values of religious humanism

Abstract

This study explores the development of Islamic Education in Indonesia through the lens of Islamic legal philosophy. Since its birth, Islamic law has been known to adapt to the context of different times and places, thanks to its open-ended framework that allows for transformation in all things. This transformative potential presents an opportunity to modernize Islamic education. The research adopts a qualitative paradigm and interpretive approach, collecting data through a literature review and synthesizing and analyzing the findings. The findings of this study suggest that the contributions of Islamic law philosophy to the development of Islamic Education include: 1) Recognizing the philosophy of Islamic education, including Sufism, Rabbaniyyah, and Wujuduiyyah; 2) Avoiding the dichotomy between science and religion; 3) Revealing the unique essence, secrets, strengths, goodness, beauty, and benefits of Islamic education compared to other educational philosophies; and 4) Maintaining a balance between spirituality and modernity, to prevent moral and spiritual emptiness in modern society.
