Abstract

The Medan City Sanitation and Gardening Service in presenting information on the location of legal landfills is still utilizing the Microsoft Word or it can be said to be manual. So it is less efficient in updating the object data. Researchers try to solve problems that occur by implementing geographic information systems that are implemented with the Google Maps API. In this study, data collection uses the RnD (Research and Development) method, while the system design used is OOAD (Object Oriented Analysis Design). The results of this study indicate that the GIS point of the location of legal waste dumps in the City of Medan Sanitation and Regulatory Service can provide benefits to the garbage transporters and the public towards effective and efficient legal waste disposal sites.

Abstract

At present, information technology is an important part for companies to meet their needs and support the achievement of strategic plans for the company. Providing competitive advantage, increasing effectiveness, time, and reducing expenses is the role of information technology that is very vital in today's business trade. By researching information technology governance using the COBIT 5 Framework in a company, it can be seen whether the company has met the requirements of the C indicators. In this study, we discussed resource management audits at the North Sumatra One-Stop Integrated Investment and Licensing Service Office to find out these capability indicators and have obtained results by conducting interviews using questionnaires distributed online to employees at the Service. With this research, we found that some indicators do not meet the capability of a company.

Abstract

Digital imagery from digital image cameras often has some disturbances that may occur, such as lenses not focusing, spots appear caused by the imperfect capture process. This ineptness can be caused by uneven lighting resulting in uneven intensity, low image contrast and the appearance of noise in the image. Of course all these negative effects will reduce the quality on digital imagery. To overcome the noise, efforts need to be made to improve the quality of that image. One of them is by filtering the image both linearly and non-linearly. There are many methods that can be used to perform linear and non-linear filtering. Images that contain noise can limit the valuable information needed when image analysis is done. Gaussian filter is one of the linear filters that serves to smooth and eliminate noise in an image. Mean Filter is very simple and easy to implement and is very useful for reducing the variation in value of a pixel with the next pixel. This filter works by replacing the intensity of the pixel value with the average the neighboring pixels.

Abstract

Peran pendidikan sangat penting dalam rangka meningkatkan kecerdasan sumber daya manusia baik secara intelektual, emosional maupun spiritual. Namun seringkali pendidikan tidak berjalan dengan baik karena kurangnya faktor ekonomi yang mengakibatkan banyak anak putus sekolah. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, pemerintah telah membuat sebuah program agar masyarakat yang kurang mampu tetap dapat bersekolah secara gratis. Program ini dinamakan Program Indonesia Pintar (PIP). Komputerisasi pada proses pemberian bantuan ini tak dapat terhindarkan. Agar tidak terjadi kesalahan dalam menentukan penerima bantuan maka diperlukan penerapan data mining menggunakan algoritma Naïve Bayes yang dapat mengklasifikasikan tingkat kelayakan masyarakat dalam menerima bantuan sehingga diperoleh hasil yang lebih akurat dalam menentukan penerima bantuan Program Indonesia Pintar. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan terciptanya sebuah sistem data mining yang mampu mendapatkan hasil yang akurat dalam menentukan penerima Program Indonesia Pintar.

Abstract

PT. Telkom Witel Medan yang beralamatkan di Jalan Gaharu Nomor 1 Medan melakukan pendataan valins yang sudah tervalidasi menggunakan excel spreadsheet. Kesulitan dalam pendataan menggunakan excel spreadsheet terjadi ketika data valins yang tervalidasi sangat banyak dalam satu waktu membuat tidak efisien dan efektif dalam melakukan pencarian data dan penginputan data. Hal ini diakibatkan pendataan menggunakan excel spreadsheet memunculkan seluruh data pada tabel dalam satu waktu yang menjadikan baris pada tabel begitu banyak hingga mencapai puluhan sampai ratusan ribu baris yang tidak terkoordinir dengan baik sehingga terjadinya kesulitan dalam melakukan pencarian dan penginputan data. Dari permasalahan diatas ditemukan solusi dengan menggantikan excel spreadsheet dengan sebuah aplikasi untuk mendata valins yang sudah tervalidasi. Aplikasi ini dibuat dengan tampilan yang sederhana dan mudah dipahami sehingga memudahkan dalam melakukan pencarian data dan penginputan data valins. Aplikasi ini berbasis WEB dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP. Selain itu aplikasi ini menggunakan database manajemen sistem MYSQL. Sedangkan untuk tampilan penulis menggunakan CSS.

Abstract

Seiring berkembangnya teknologi otomatisasi sistem kendali dan mikrokontroler, berbagai alat yang praktis dan efisien telah banyak diciptakan. Tujuan pembuatan berbagai alat tersebut yaitu untuk memenuhi kebutuhan manusia dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, sehingga dapat dimanfaatkan untuk mempermudah rutinitas yang dilakukan manusia secara umum diera modern seperti saat ini. Untuk menunjang hal tersebut perlu didukung adanya sarana maupun prasarana yang disesuaikan dengan perkembangan teknologi yang ada.  Penggunaan air pada kolam ikan harus dikondisikan seefektif mungkin, agar dapat dilakukan proses penggantian air yang tepat. Artinya air kolam ikan diganti apabila kondisinya sudah keruh, sehingga tidak akan membuang-buang air yang kondisinya masih bersih. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan suatu cara agar bisa memantau dan mengatur ketinggian dan kekeruhan air dalam kolam dan mengatur penggantian air kolam secara otomatis, serta sistem yang dapat mengendalikan pompa secara otomatis untuk mengalirkan air kedalam bak kolam ikan.

Abstract

Technology has developed very rapidly nowadays, especially on smartphones. Nowadays smartphone is an item that is in great demand by everyone. smartphone is a mobile phone that has a function like a computer and also called mini computer. There are people who find it difficult to choose a smartphone with various advanced features available. Therefore, a decision support system was made using the TOPSIS method to select the smartphone that suits your needs. TOPSIS (Technique for order prefrence by similarity to ideal solution) is one of the multi-criteria decision making methods to find preference values ​​based on criteria and alternatives. A total of 7 criteria chosen by the author that are: price, brand, ram, battery, front camera, rear camera and display. Therefore, the alternatives used are Samsung A20, Xiaomi Mi A1, Realme C2, Asus Zenfone Max M2 and Oppo F5 Youth. The data is then calculated using the TOPSIS method based on the stages. So that we can get the preferences value and the rank of the smartphone we wanted which is then implemented into a web-based application. Keywords : Smartphone, TOPSIS, DSS

Abstract

The number of beauty and care products is widespread outside, the more skin problems people experience . Various problems of this disease are also caused by allergies due to the use of various beauty products and taking care of the skin from products on the market . Therefore, we need a system that can help choose good skincare according to skin type using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The application that will be made for the selection of facial foam, moisturizer, and mask with criteria, namely oily skin, normal skin, dry skin, sensitive skin and combination skin, this application is expected to solve the problem of choosing skincare more effectively and precisely. Abstract

Soybeans (Glycine max (L.) Merill.) are an important source of protein in Indonesia, it is a part of variety of beans. The soybeans’ need is increasing as people demand for raw materials. While there are so many problems with soy plants that they cause the decline in soy production. The decline in the production of soybean plants has been due to both pest and disease factors. Therefore in this condition it would require an expert to address the problem of soy farmers, but in this condition the lack of an expert and the time of the expert is a problem, so with by existence expert system can provide an alternative to addressing problems. This system of experts can be used to help soy farmers in an effort to identify pests and crop diseases and how the prevention and treatment of pest and soy diseases. The system was used Backward Chaining methods. This application made based Web used PHP programming language.
